We did a yard sale last week and I set up my daughter with a food stand (sunny d, muffins, cookies, juice box) and she made more money than me! 😂
I read this 3 times and read food stamp every time and was like what am I missing 😂. That’s so cool when kids do that. I always buy even if it’s something I don’t even know if my kids will eat or drink. I make so much from most sales it’s the least I can do and the kids always get a kick out of it and get to make some money for their work. Good early reselling lesson. lol

We never were hurt by metal point darts. We were informed and understood and watched.
My cousin lost an eye to one in the early '70s. We still played with them. I asked my Dad years later "WHY?" He said that we saw what could happen, so we knew how to avoid it happening again. 🤔
Yeah, I grew up with BB guns, bows and arrows, Bowie knives, Clackers... Ironically, the only one of these that was thought of as a mere "toy" was the one that had to be taken off the market because they'd blow up in your face when the balls got old and fractured. Kids are trainable, lol.

Garage sales are the best. When you bought the Winnie the Pooh stuff, you missed the Fitz and Floyd bunnies. They are retired and if they aren't chipped, they are are worth $25+ and would be great in your booth. LOVE that you support the kids!!

I think it was the second sale you stopped at. You should have snagged that Secret Puzzle Club "Darwin" that the guy pointed out to you. Below that was a Boston Terrier framed picture that is made of maps and other prints. I have one and I constantly get compliments on it. If you find some BT lovers they would snatch it up. The puzzle is not cheap and that artist has actually passed away.
Shout out to the kid you looked you up while you were at the sale. Also , when you told the lady "you're not that nice" the way she said "OH" is priceless. Love to Mose!!

Everyone shows HOW to sell on Whatnot but, nobody shows how to do the setup, film, or anything else to get you going on Whatnot. Sorry, I'm "over the hill" but I'd like to learn how to use the equipment I need to go on Whatnot. I have an entire barn and house full of stuff I want to get rid of.
All you need is a smart phone and Internet. :)
@@HairyTornado Some of us are "old school". A step-by-step video of how to do "Whatnot" would help out more people than you would ever guess. Some of us learn with "hands-on" videos rather than, just use your cell phones and the internet. That still didn't tell us "how" to go about it. Love the videos!

Yesterday my kids and stopped at a lemonade stand and it was awful 😂 when I was a kid we used fresh lemons and lots of sugar and ice and it was the best on a hot day!!

I've been married for 44-yrs and if have more than $50 in my pocket in a month, I think something is wrong. My wife always has money and it's always me asking "hey honey, you got $20?". I found a set of BeCu ping zing irons at the Pickens Flea Market last year and it’s still one of my best eBay sales. It was pouring that day and my wife was off so we still decided to go. There was literally maybe 10 vendors but this one guy had that set and a leather Ping Bag and he wanted $125 I asked if he’d take $100 and he took it. I sold the irons for $700 about a month later. That’s a great BOLO
