Hello Nikki. Thank you so much for your tutorials. Very generous of you! I’m not the best of sewers but thanks to your videos I manage to make some great things for my grandchildren. Greetings from Sweden🇸🇪
Love this and have just subscribed! My granddaughter is expecting her first baby in July, and our whole family is beyond thrilled! Looking forward to making lots of fun stuff from your tutorials. Thank you😊
love it! I ordered one of these snap kits. made the bib. put the snap on. Love this... so simple. Thanks a million for the video. what a cute, and easy to make bib!
Si Vite I’ve been dying to make these and funny when you said you may have one of these and not know how to use it which I didn’t but now I do awesome !! Thank uou
I’m about to have another sibling, I just came back from the fabric store and I’m planning to make a blanket, bibs, and a burpy thing, this is a great way to make bibs!! I’m so gonna do this one!
Wow Just when I needed a tutorial on how to make bibs and add the snaps, Hooray. I have an order for Baby Blankets and bibs , plus I just found out My Son and his wife are having their first Baby in late Dec. I am a Happy Camper, Thank you so very much. I really needed this, and I know I can make these. Your Awesome...
Thank you for the video. I am just learning to use a sewing machine. I made the bib using your video and it turned out pretty good. I cannot wait to learn more about sewing and doing another one. Thank you!
I’m a new subscriber. I love this little bib! My son is in the army and his bff is pregnant and due in March. Being in the army they don’t have a lot of extra spending money. I’m looking forward to making some of these for her as well as burb cloths and a couple of little blankets. I love the idea of using a neutral flannel as the lining instead of batting.
Thank you for writing, we are an Army family also! My husband has been in the Army for 21 years (we've been married 20) and it's been a grand adventure :)
I had to find you all over again lol. I had watched you a couple of years back and downloaded the pattern but lost it somewhere. I want to embroider on the front side then put bib together. I am so happy I found you again.
Hello! I am a beginner and although I didn't make this bib, I used the snap part of the video to understand how to do it! Your explanation was so thorough and made me feel like I could follow along. I followed along with you and I did it! Without this video I probably would have sat frustrated for an hour, since the manufacturer video for mine (dritz) did not explain the process at all nor did close ups to understand where to put each piece. Thank you for a great video!
I have 2 new babies 👶 that are turning 1 in 2022. I now have a gift 🎁 idea to send. Thank you so much. One lives in Tennessee (Stella) & the other (Nolan) lives in Michigan
Thank you so much for this awesome video. I'm a beginner and this was simple and demonstrated very well. I have the "snappy thing" too, I actually just received it so I was very grateful to see how exactly to use this as well.
This was great. I just made some burp cloths and wanted to make matching bibs and there you were. I have the snap tool and have not used it so double bonus! Now I will. Many thanks.
I just 'found' you on Friday and have been watching your videos all weekend. I've been making baby bibs and burp cloths for a new baby coming next door and have used a couple different patterns so far, from others. I like yours the best and even though I already made 6 of theirs, I think I might just make a couple more of yours, to have as extras for her. (You can never have too many :). Also, I just love your 'common sense' way about you and love the way you organize. I've gotten so many great ideas from you and plan to use as many as I can, in my own sewing room. Thank you sew very much for everything you've offered us. I certainly appreciate it. Brenda
Sorry about that! Try clicking on the pattern to make it big, then right click to save to your computer. You should be able to print it from there. If you still have trouble, email me at pincutsew@yahoo.com and I'll email you the pattern :)
Great video, thank you for your directions, so easy to follow. I had a problem with attaching the snaps. Once on the bib, the snap wouldn't close. I'm not sure if I pushed too hard. The part that looks like a thumbtack, seems to get mushed in away that blocks the area where the two sides snap together. Just wondering if you have any guidance you can provide. Also, once on the bib, is there anyway to remove the snaps? Otherwise, I have ruined my first bib. Thanks. Note: My advise to anyone using the snaps for the first time, practice on a scrap of fabric before putting your snap on your bib. I wish I had.
I've made 20 of these bibs based on your video! You'd think just a few would be enough, but Wee Harry can go thru four or 5 in a day. I did omit the batting/liner. Even made a couple bibs from T-shirts. Cheers!
You could try that for sure! Flannel doesn't wear as well as cotton, though, so the more you wash them, the more worn they'll look. You also try flannel just for the back!
can you give us the meaurements in width and length so that we know for sure it will be big enough. I printed mine at 100% but it is difficult to tell if that will be large enough.
Love this! I can probably make my own pattern but you mentioned it’s on your website and I’ve been trying to find your website. I’ll look again but where is it mentioned? Thank you
I really need one but I don't know to use a sewing machine and I don't have a good sewing machine it's rusty now and don't work well too since my parents use it while they are still strong it's an Usha foot sewing machine.I really need to sew a bib as buying it online too is very expensive
I love these bibs. Our son has twins on the way (boy and girl) and I will be making these. I also love your pin cushion. Did you make that? Do you have the pattern and a video on that? I would love to make one like that.
Congrats on your twin grandbabies! You can find the pin cushion tutorial on my blog here: www.pincutsewstudio.com/blog/2016/6/15/mason-jar-pin-cushion-tutorial?rq=mason%20jar
Could you just have flannel on one side and cotton on the other without a middle layer? Or what about one flannel side and something like terrycloth on the back?
Hi, Sherry! You can head to this link and scroll down a little bit and you'll see the pattern. You click on it, then right click it to save: www.pincutsewstudio.com/blog/2017/1/23/how-to-sew-a-baby-bib-a-beginner-friendly-tutorial
Thank you, Elise! That pincushion was made many years ago now and it was a purchased pattern that's out there somewhere, but I can't find it! I'll keep looking and update you when I find it :)
Hola no me alguno tumorales no te explica como se hace el patrón no lo dicen para que los compre un hola por las que ponen el patrón y para las demás me da igual no las miro
Great video, cant wait to make these. Quick question, when you extended to make the big larger do you leave the neckhole the same or do you adjust that? Thank you
I’m trying to get the pattern but I don’t know where to get it. I subscribed twice and did the confirmation email 2 times and I still don’t know what to do
Hi Mary :) Did you purchase on Etsy? Etsy downloads can’t be done from the app, they need the desktop browser. If that’s not the problem, can you send me an email at pincutsew(at)yahoo(dot)com and I’ll help you that way :)
I just purchased your baby bib pdf and it won't let me print it without using PDF Live. I do not want to sign up for a PDF site that is free for seven days and then charges me an annual fee. How else can I access this pdf file?
Hi, Michelle, so sorry you're having trouble. Your pattern should have appeared in the email confirmation you received. I just looked up your order, though and sent you an email to the address you ordered with. If you don't receive that, please respond here and let me know!
Thanks for the tutorial, free pattern AND well-explained instructions! Theses bibs are So cute!

A very nice quick and easy pattern! Can easily be dressed up without too much fuss. Thanks for sharing this video and the pattern!

I am having twins and will be making all of the bibs and burb rags. thank you so much!
Congratulations!!
You rock! Thanks for the video... I'm attempting bibs for my brother in law's new baby!!

I have 2 new babies 👶 that are turning 1 in 2022. I now have a gift 🎁 idea to send. Thank you so much. One lives in Tennessee (Stella) & the other (Nolan) lives in Michigan
I have a new granddaughter on the way so I am definitely doing this! Thank you!

So glad you liked it! You'll love your snap setter, it's a handy thing :)
This was great. I just made some burp cloths and wanted to make matching bibs and there you were. I have the snap tool and have not used it so double bonus! Now I will. Many thanks.
I bought the pattern, the snaps, the snap plyers! Once everything comes in I’ll make it! ❤
Wonderful tutorial…thank you! Made a bunch for our new grandchild!

Awesome suggestions for cutting out efficiently and enlarging the basic pattern.
I love your pin cushion.
Thank you! Cant wait to also try the snap thingy that I was gifted and a little weary of :) My new grandbabies are droolers.

Thank you so much for this!
Super cute, gotta try this one.
Thank you will be using for my friends new baby!
Knitting needles work great for poking out corners🙌🏻
Great Idea!
Best one i have watched
Nice and easy. Thanks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Excellent tutorial. Thank you!
helo. thankyou for this. can i ask for thepattern, ? where can i find it.?
I love this pattern! I am just wondering if you need to enlarge the neck for older infants or toddlers?
can't find the pattern. clicked on the PDF but never got it. Any other way???????
Hey! Popping by from the Facebook youtubers group! Happy to have found you 😍😎 ✂️
Welcome, thank you!
Would it be too bulky with just flannel front and back instead of the 3 layers you use (flannel inside and regular cotton on front and back)?
You could try that for sure! Flannel doesn't wear as well as cotton, though, so the more you wash them, the more worn they'll look. You also try flannel just for the back!
can you give us the meaurements in width and length so that we know for sure it will be big enough. I printed mine at 100% but it is difficult to tell if that will be large enough.
Thank you very much, this is for a friend that is having a baby in August.
I love your video, thanks for sharing, i want to try make some
What the name for the piece of fabric that go between both piece of fabric
thanks
It's just flannel! :)
OMMGG this is so fricking cutee. Im gonna make some for my baby brother
thank-you. great idea. love them
Love the fact that you left the poke threw stay in your video....lol...let's people know that it's not just begainers who do that
Ha! Keepin it real 😆
This looks neat, but I have some microfiber fabric so I might use that as the back and not use any additional fabric there.
another thing that works well for turnring and won't cause holes is a crochet hook.
Ooh great idea 💡
Well I know what I’ll be trying tomorrow ❤
This channel is amazing!!!!
Aw, thank you so much!
@@PinCutSew also this fabric is so cute. Where did you get it?
I do a double wonder clip to note where my turning gap is too :D
love your tank you are wearing :)
Muy bonito
Could you just have flannel on one side and cotton on the other without a middle layer? Or what about one flannel side and something like terrycloth on the back?
You sure can!
Love this tutorial. I could not find the free pattern download?
Hi, Sherry! You can head to this link and scroll down a little bit and you'll see the pattern. You click on it, then right click it to save: www.pincutsewstudio.com/blog/2017/1/23/how-to-sew-a-baby-bib-a-beginner-friendly-tutorial
love this, but I struggled with the round flaps. is there a trick? when sewing? sorry a beginner.
thank you
Great tutorial
I love your pin cushion! Did you make it?
Is it the flower one? I did! The pattern is out of print now, sadly, I tried to look for it when someone else asked and couldn’t find it :-/
THANK YOU. IT'S AWESOME!!!!
Hi. Can i use cotton fabric?
Do you have to top stitch? I'm not the greatest at sewing so close to the edge without a messup or two.
If you do a really good pressing job, you might not need it, but then you’ll need to hand stitch the opening closed 👍🏻
I am in love with your beautiful sunflower cushion! Perhaps you might consider a new tutorial? :)
Thank you, Elise! That pincushion was made many years ago now and it was a purchased pattern that's out there somewhere, but I can't find it! I'll keep looking and update you when I find it :)
@@PinCutSew Thank you for checking!
What seem allowance did you use when you sewed the bib together after the basting step? You didnt say..
Starbucks! 😃 Love it! Neat idea.
Is it necessary to put a center material?
If you're using thicker fabrics, or backing with minky, maybe not, but with regular cottons, the center fabric makes the bib more absorbent :)
Hola no me alguno tumorales no te explica como se hace el patrón no lo dicen para que los compre un hola por las que ponen el patrón y para las demás me da igual no las miro
I love this!
hello, I new to your channel, and want to make my 1st grandbaby soon.
what kind of material you used.
I make these bibs with cotton and flannel. Any absorbent natural fiber fabric will do though!
Great video, cant wait to make these. Quick question, when you extended to make the big larger do you leave the neckhole the same or do you adjust that? Thank you
When you make it larger by moving the pattern farther from the fold when cutting, it also expands the neck hole :)
I’m trying to get the pattern but I don’t know where to get it. I subscribed twice and did the confirmation email 2 times and I still don’t know what to do
Where is the grain of the fabric or does it not matter how you fold it?
It doesn't really matter, as long as it's straight in one direction or the other.
Hi Nikki I just purchased the patterns and cannot down load can you please help me out!!
Hi Mary :) Did you purchase on Etsy? Etsy downloads can’t be done from the app, they need the desktop browser. If that’s not the problem, can you send me an email at pincutsew(at)yahoo(dot)com and I’ll help you that way :)

Thank you for the pattern and tutorial. I was going to share a photo but I do not see that as an option.
Hi there! It's not possible here, but you can tag me on Instagram @pincutsew :)
What kind of fabric did you use?
