Do these mold? If you are painting them with acrylic paint do you have to cure them? I cut mine out and then bake them then paint them; should I put them back in the oven after I paint them? Do you have to put a sealer on them? like glue?
Hi Katie - I painted mine with acrylics and when dry covered with a modge poodle or a clear latex varnish from the craft store. I like a clean up with soap and water. I make sure that the entire piece is covered with the topcoat I use. In a pinch I have also used clear nail polish.

had kids make these this weekend, got very puffy in the oven and cracked. What can we do to make sure they come out flat and nice like yours?
I nearly used SR flour, that would have made them rise and I guess crack too. I think you need plain flour with nothing else added...

hi Debra, I just ran out of varnish doing these, so Iḿ going to use nail varnish aswell
they say u can add oil to it to make it more soft. how much would I have to add for this recipe ?

yes, but don't mix this with polymer clay. polymer = plastic

no... besides that's more expensive than table salt
