Really want to get back to China, but it's literally impossible right now, and I'm basically vicariously living through you. Watching your videos makes me miss it so much and I can also relate to a lot of the statements, like the blue bikes being the ones you wanna get (in the city I lived in those were the only ones that worked for foreigners).
I also feel like your Chinese has improved a lot! Not sure where I'm going with this comment but keep up the fantastic work!

You are supposed to just have a small bite on the soup dumpling first, and suck the juice out of it, then dip in vinegar and eat the rest. You can actually ride tandem bikes on these walls of Nanjing. Fall in Nanjing is particularly charming, the whole city is infused with the smell of osmanthus flowers.

Hi Amy! It's really nice to see that you've been to Nanjing too. My aunt lived in Nanjing, so it's part of my childhood memories. I really enjoyed walking under the paulownia trees in Nanjing, the huge trees give the city a very different cityscape from Beijing.
Also, Nanjing has a very interesting and historical nickname "Stone City石头城", which I think is probably due wto its ancient city walls and buildings.
There is a song about Nanjing called "金陵谣", maybe you can listen to it. They also wrote about Beijing (紫禁), Chengdu (锦中客), Guangzhou (天南歌), Xi'an (长安四韵), and Hangzhou (云山入梦舟). I travel to all these cities and 👂 these songs while roaming the streets.❤
