Are you not supposed to use a new pinch washer every time you do an oil change?
Replacing the drain plug gasket is an important part of car maintenance, which should not be forgotten and replaced at every maintenance. It is installed on the engine sump drain plug, thereby reducing the risk of oil leakage.
@@autodocuk So - yes - you need a new plug which has the washer attached. The video looks like he put the same bolt back in.
A little different than my 08 b7 a4 BWT engine. Myself filter housing is biggr, has screw threads on the inside and a plastic piece in the middle of it to hold the filter in place. Also oil cap to fill the engine is located towards the front.

To change the oil in your engine, you need 3.80 liters of oil with the VW 507 00 specification.

Hi, is this oil filter change on a petrol a4 b7 ? I only ask as when I've changed them on other petrol cars the filter was always one of those concealed type ,like a can

i dont think thats a good engine oil, those engines need 5w30 with 507.00 oil code and the 5w40 is i think 505.00
