I love piggy, i'm 100% voting it, but at the same time, i feel really REALLY bad for the mimic devs since they're the only horror game on the innovation awards that is ACTUALLY scary (aside from interliminality) , i got chills by just looking at some of the models of the entities

You know, as much as I enjoy piggy and doors, I’m voting the mimic. They’re all great games that I’ve been playing early into their lifespan, but, the category is best *horror* game. Piggy and Doors are NOT scary. I barely even play the mimic, but it’s an actual horror game. That’s just my two cents 🤷🏽♂️
I feel like roblox is to blame since if they say had a scariest horror game award, then The Mimic could win but then doors could best horror (in general’ while piggy can win best horror replay ability, since it’s more focused on multiplayer and build mode is a massive life extender for piggy as a game. Replay ability for horror is important since if it’s too focused on the scare factor, it’ll become less scary. Now for doors they’ll win overall horror for being a big scary, decent replay ability and amazing gameplay.
My issue with the innovation awards (that is VERY PROVEN by this comment section) is that its just a popularity contest and extremely biased. If you think a killer that has low graphics with "jumpscares" (using that term lightly cause they arent even scary) is scarier than The Mimic, then i hate to say this but, you are 100% under the age of 11. Doors and Piggy just aren't scary . They have no scary elements whatsoever. No build-up, no genuinely scary parts or just scary looking monsters. The Mimic has all three of those and does a good job of utilizing it. Its why when people think of OTHER ACTUALLY SCARY Roblox games like Judy or Geisha, its always compared to The Mimic because they all have high graphics, Great build-up and scary monsters. On top of this the whole voting system is flawed in itself because of how the creators are making a reason for the fans to vote for them. Piggy is doing it and while The Mimic is also doing it with a free lantern, the difference is that The Mimic SHOULD win and the reason they're doing it because the game doesn't have enough recognition. Piggy was probably gonna win anyway but the whole Piggy skin Minitoon did was just to guarantee more people voted Piggy. While I think it was fine for him to do it, it was just unnecessary and used just to make more people vote for Piggy. Also, like its just biased. Look in this comment section and you'll see people admitting that Piggy or Doors is OG and not even scary but that's why they're voting for them (Which makes literally no sense because The Mimic is older). And even people are saying that Doors or Piggy has better story and graphics which is also just wrong. Doors has literally no story and Piggy's just makes no sense and kinda feels like it was made up on the spot. The Mimic has a story which talks about real-life issues that people have such as Child-abuse and the game itself is literally based on real-life Japanese Folklore. I know this was a long comment but its just so ridiculous how people always put bias first instead of the actual question (my favorite is Interminality but The Mimic is 100% scarier). If the Mimic was more recognised and had people actually willing to play it, it would 100% be winning this. It doesnt have large content creators like Kreekcraft playing it. In my opinion, this drama is extremely stupid. Both sides are bashing on each other without seeing the other game’s upsides and are fully on the negatives. I personally love both games, me playing Piggy because the storyline is good, the different cast of characters are incredible, and the different maps there are. However, piggy does get annoying when people keep choosing the same map over and over, and it does get repetitive in a while. Doors I also like because of the outstanding graphics, not to say Piggy’s is bad, the entities are really good, the modifiers, the back door and the hotel and the rooms, and the soundtracks are good as well although I do like some of piggy’s because they’re also good as well. Doors does take a while to update(They got backdoors, retro, and super hard mode), but i think the longer to update, the more time to polish the update. Yes there will be bugs. Also, doors was inspired from rooms. Personally I may vote doors here because I like the concept of a hotel with magical entities and lights(architects).

i think the most pointless drama right now is avatar catalog and DTI fights I've seen, IMO I don't think that avatar catalog has an objective other then just make avatars. dress to impress on the other hand; you have to follow a theme and its like fashion famous. I can see why people would vote avatar catalog tho, but I don't see it as a "game" I see it as a useful tool to help decide what you want on your avatar.

I am voting internmmality I think I said that wrong but it is a horror game which has more then 3 episodes (episodes are basically the divider between all the parts of the game) and the game is fun to play when you have friends along, so are the other games like mimic but I feel internmality is more enjoyable but this my opinion.
Be real with me the only reason doors is slightly scary is cuz of rush ambush and screech they have the element of surprise. Yes! Finally someone makes sense, people the best horror game is not just which one is more scary but it includes many factors. Content, replay-ablility, and actual horror. Obviously most horror games excel on different scales but they also decrease on different levels!
For example doors, doors excels on content as there are many unique events that happen overtime, mimic excels on horror obviously, and piggy excels on replayability as there are 24 chapters and a few specials chapters all with their different map and twist.

all of them have their own redeeming qualities. Piggy might have a less vague storyline and Doors has its lore, but hidden in the depths. Doors is one of the highest quality games on Roblox, while Piggy had more longevity. Doors has a lot of jumpscares (mentioned in the very start of the game), and is still in Alpha, somehow, and Piggy has some chapters that really scare you til you shit yourself. Piggy has 26 available chapters and 2 books. Doors have modifiers to make it challenging depending on your choice, while Piggy has replayability in some way. I just don't get why they argue over this. Personally, I have all the badges in Piggy, and missing 2-4 badges in Doors, my current hardest being A-1000. Both of them are good. Personally, I'd vote Doors. Floor 2 looks very promising.
I had a Piggy phase and a Doors phase. I've loved them both at some point in my life. I do not think the Doors teaser is linked to the Innovation Awards, since they never even mentioned it in the trailer. They mentioned that Floor 2 would come out at the end of summer previously anyway, so it is *just* a teaser. The update argument is pretty weak since the rest of the games objectively require more time to update. Besides, I'm pretty sure the Piggy timeline ended. That's how fast that game was to make. It's easier to crank out chapters for Piggy than in other games. I would say quality over quantity but Piggy was a joke game from the beginning, so that is pretty telling in and of itself. Except for if it wins, in which case it will be updated which should be mentioned AFTER the fact. It is unfair to the other games to bribe players to vote for your games, even though the people voting Piggy in the first place probably would've voted for it regardless of an update or not. But at the same time, not a lot has happened to Doors since their win in the last year's award show. Both games have had their spotlight, even from Roblox directly, but you should vote the one you believe is the true best game regardless. Or if you're just after points, doesn't matter really. We'll just have to see how it plays out. I'm not surprised Roblox players are this petty.

My opinion: piggy loses its horror factor after you’ve been dragged into carnival for the 17th time that day. After that you start to see the game as more of a scavenger hunt but now there’s an animal tailing you 24/7.
The Fun fact: everyone wants Gold piggy but when gold Piggy was realized they used for a time it compares when gold Piggy was removed if you go in piggy no one uses that skin

In my opinion, this drama is extremely stupid. Both sides are bashing on each other without seeing the other game’s upsides and are fully on the negatives. I personally love both games, me playing Piggy because the storyline is good, the different cast of characters are incredible, and the different maps there are. However, piggy does get annoying when people keep choosing the same map over and over, and it does get repetitive in a while. Doors I also like because of the outstanding graphics, not to say Piggy’s is bad, the entities are really good, the modifiers, the back door and the hotel and the rooms, and the soundtracks are good as well although I do like some of piggy’s because they’re also good as well. Doors does take a while to update(They got backdoors, retro, and super hard mode), but i think the longer to update, the more time to polish the update. Yes there will be bugs. Also, doors was inspired from rooms. Personally I may vote doors here because I like the concept of a hotel with magical entities and lights(architects).

Honestly, I really don't understand the drama behind this, regardless I prefer Piggy though because of the more variety it has and there's much more you can do with the game in comparison to Doors, though I also do love how Doors also admittedly has something unique than just being behind Piggy since Doors also felt scarier and has higher quality, I love both games but I feel Piggy has done better in terms of variety, gameplay, and storylines.

I am voting internmmality I think I said that wrong but it is a horror game which has more then 3 episodes (episodes are basically the divider between all the parts of the game) and the game is fun to play when you have friends along, so are the other games like mimic but I feel internmality is more enjoyable but this my opinion.
Be real with me the only reason doors is slightly scary is cuz of rush ambush and screech they have the element of surprise. Yes! Finally someone makes sense, people the best horror game is not just which one is more scary but it includes many factors.
Content, replay-ablility, and actual horror.
Obviously most horror games excel on different scales but they also decrease on different levels!
For example doors, doors excels on content as there are many unique events that happen overtime, mimic excels on horror obviously, and piggy excels on replayability as there are 24 chapters and a few specials chapters all with their different map and twist.

I dont think people play piggy for the horror, id say the pvp side of things and the story, in general i think piggy is the better game but doors does the better job in horror.
all of them have their own redeeming qualities. Piggy might have a less vague storyline and Doors has its lore, but hidden in the depths. Doors is one of the highest quality games on Roblox, while Piggy had more longevity. Doors has a lot of jumpscares (mentioned in the very start of the game), and is still in Alpha, somehow, and Piggy has some chapters that really scare you til you shit yourself. Piggy has 26 available chapters and 2 books. Doors have modifiers to make it challenging depending on your choice, while Piggy has replayability in some way.
I just don't get why they argue over this. Personally, I have all the badges in Piggy, and missing 2-4 badges in Doors, my current hardest being A-1000. Both of them are good.
Personally, I'd vote Doors. Floor 2 looks very promising.

I had a Piggy phase and a Doors phase. I've loved them both at some point in my life.
I do not think the Doors teaser is linked to the Innovation Awards, since they never even mentioned it in the trailer. They mentioned that Floor 2 would come out at the end of summer previously anyway, so it is *just* a teaser.
The update argument is pretty weak since the rest of the games objectively require more time to update. Besides, I'm pretty sure the Piggy timeline ended. That's how fast that game was to make. It's easier to crank out chapters for Piggy than in other games. I would say quality over quantity but Piggy was a joke game from the beginning, so that is pretty telling in and of itself.
Except for if it wins, in which case it will be updated which should be mentioned AFTER the fact. It is unfair to the other games to bribe players to vote for your games, even though the people voting Piggy in the first place probably would've voted for it regardless of an update or not. But at the same time, not a lot has happened to Doors since their win in the last year's award show.
Both games have had their spotlight, even from Roblox directly, but you should vote the one you believe is the true best game regardless. Or if you're just after points, doesn't matter really. We'll just have to see how it plays out. I'm not surprised Roblox players are this petty.
