Am I the only one who would want to see making of the scene "Waltz for Eva and Che"? Like how many times they messed up the choreography and had to redo it...
There haven't been many critically or commercially successful musical films since the 60s, alongside films like Cabaret; The Rocky Horror Picture Show; Moulin Rouge; Chicago and Les Miserables, this is one of the few contemporary successes.
In 1989 Andrew Lloyd Webber should have teamed up with Steven Spielberg and Jim Henson to make a movie version of Starlight Express. In fact that should be 8 years earlier before the movie version of Evita.
Evita didn't have buck teeth. In fact, she was always complimented for her beautiful, straight teeth... and her smooth, alabaster skin. The reason Madonna had to wear those denture things is because Madonna has a prominent gap in her upper front teeth and Eva didn't.
Alan Parker should have received an Oscar for this film. Take out Madonna etc. The film is exceptional! To re create Eva's funeral etc! And he lost to the director of The English Patient! A film about sand!!

Evita and Madonna do have something else in common, they both lost a parent as a young child.

it was the role meant only for Madonna.
I've never heard Madonna sound like that. Is that her real speaking voice?
Madonna with menem! The one who doesnt respect evita's memory is him, not Madonna!!
I realize the audience has to make allowances in biopics, but I can't really buy Madonna as a 15-year-old.

I think Madonna sounds like she got a blocked nose 😀
