Practicing Tayemacha Dance in Bhairabtole, Pokhara.
Tayemacha dance is perform in the festival of Gaijatra by Newar Community of Pokhara. Generally The 4 boys are dressed like fairy (which we call pari) with one Joker and dance in Music of Khin (a kind of musical drum).
Tayemacha dance is Pokhareli version of Gaijatra Festival celebration. Little boy wearing dress of fairy dance in the street of Pokhara during Gaijatra festival. Its not sure from when was it started but local people says that its more then 200 year old dance.
