Don’t think I have the patience or genetics to grow a beard like that myself. But Nate looks awesome and his bald and bearded combo only compliments how awesome his beard is.
Greg keeping this channel alive. Love this kinda content it sure beats "how to trim your beard" which has been done 1 million times over.
I have literally been stopped in Boston traffic because of my beard. My beard has also become part of my personality.
That's the type of beard all men want to grow but few can accomplish.
I'm wrried that someone might yank it if they get mad at me or something.
Nate and I talked off camera about him using the diffusser attachement on the hair dryer to actually even play up the wave and curls even more---looking forward to seeing it. #pumpupthevolume
Great interview! That is an awesome beard, the waves look impeccable
Greg I love this channel although admittedly I have been away for awhile. Please keep the channel alive . I love it good job
Such a wonderful video. Both of you are amazing!
I'm 72 and have had beards on and off over the years. In July '21 I began growing it again and some of my grandchildren said I should grow it until Christmas so I could be Santa. I did that and liked it so much that I continued to let it grow. In March '22 I went on an international trip and had to wear a mask. To make matters worse, when I came back through U.S. Customs, the computer did not recognize the bearded me as the same person as the beardless me in the passport photo. I knew I was soon going on another international trip a few months later so I trimmed it back pretty significantly. Fast forward to July '22 and I started the journey again. Again, this March, I'm going on another international trip. But this time, no matter what, it's going to continue to grow. I want to get at least a year's growth. Nate inspires me!
This is an awesome comment dear Sir.
Your beard is magnificent sir, it suits you very well. ;)
I'm growing a long beard but getting a lot of beard hate from family and friends.
What a beautiful man. You should see him riding the motorcycle w that beard flowing.
Very nice video. I was looking forward for this.
GREAT INTERVIEW 👍
When I was in my 20's I grew my beard for about 5 years and it reached a length of about 2 feet. It turned a lot of heads when I went out with the beard out, but most days I'd wrap it in itself, which made it a lot more manageable. I then cut it and have maintained a very short executive beard for about 10 years, but have begun regrowing it long for about 4 months now. This time around I know what kind of length I can expect down the road and that helps motivate me to stick with it. And I think it's coming in a bit thicker than the first time I grew it, and with some grey in it too. Also, a couple of weeks back I made a big mistake when I overtrimmed my mustache. I looked Amish for about two weeks and hated the look. Fortunately, the mustache is now regrowing back to its former glory.
I like this guys beard a lot because it looks like an upgraded version of mine. Many awesome beards are very different from mine, but I like seeing ones like this.
Nice interview.
Epic wavy beard. Cheers Greg
Incredible, awesome beard!!
Great interview! Same age and similar hair genetics as Nate, but not fully bald (getting there) and not at 14 inches. I’m growing it out though (4 months in on top of about 2/3 inches) which puts me at about 6 inches.
That is an awesome beard my guy.
My reaction to Nate's beard, "Wow!". Very impressive!
I've grown a longish beard for the first time over the past year. I notice strangers tend to be a little leery of you at first, but once you talk to them a bit they warm up and realize you are just a normal person
Hey Greg. Been following you for years. Nate is my brother in law. Cool interview. Cool dude.
Small world! He's a great guy---and that beard is awesome.
I had a similar COVID beard but I cut mine off on March 26th when the mandates came to an end. Now it’s regrowing almost half way.
That’s amazing. I’ve been growing my beard for 4 years (couple ‘o’trims) and my beard is half that length. I’m 45 👍🏻🎩
Greg let me say that your Beard is absolutely awesome as You’re showing everyone that rocking a full Gray/Grey Beard You can do it with class, I’m very impressed with both of You Gentlemen’s Beards as myself being from Philadelphia can truly appreciate it as well this interview as I too have a Curly Beard one which I don’t like trying to straighten it for the length or a look as I’ve had Three Beards in Five Years.
Wish we could have seen a before and after picture.
Wow! What an awesome beard!
extremely beautiful beard!
I can relate to this guy. My beard is almost as long as his. I have people complimenting my beard pretty much everywhere I go. I'm the "big, long beard guy" in my area.
Lol. Same here. That guy with a big beard they say
That's one of the most awesome beards. Awesome density. If I only had them genetics
Sweet Beard Nate! I think I started mine about 6 months before you, but almost the exact story. Even close to the same age.
Sweet beard man.
When i First read the caption i Wasn‘t sure if they meant the guy was giant or his Beard 😂
I thought the same thing. 😂
😂
I'm jealous of that amazing beard. I want a big beard so bad. The longest mines get is just a bit longer then Greg's beard but then stops
That beard is impressive
He can make a toupee for himself 😂
Man, been growing the Covid beard same amount of time and only have half that length and I’m the same age. Serious beard growth gene!
My job won’t allow this I wish I can 😊
Curly/wavy beards are great! The prime example I always think of is Fr. Seraphim Rose, one of the best beards I've ever seen!
A shaved head with a beard is a classic look. Does Nate use any products?
Both have great beards 🧔 but Greg's beard is the length I've and like more.
60 yrs old and I'm 6 months into my first beard. I didn't consider growing it during covid. I missed that boat. For the first time today, I let it go curly. When it was shorter I felt like it needed to be straightened. I have always admired beards but always thought I couldn't grow one. I committed to 90 days and now I'm at 6 months. It's an amazingly simple idea. If you want to grow a beard, stop shaving. Give it 90 days before you judge it.
Hi dear sir, your comment is awesome and inspire me to keep growing my beard. :)
I have been growing out my beard for 6 years now, and I have a decently thick growth, but can not seem to get more then 3 inches in length. Is there more I can be doing to get more length?
Dear Santa: this christmass my only wish is to have a beard like that
Gregs beard is teriffic!
Fact
Beards are awesome
First video watched in awhile. Greg, when did you go all white? .... Natural or with a little help? .... That Kurt Russell hair a few years back was awesome!
I have been with my wife over 36 years, she and our daughter have never seen me with out it. I talked about shaving once, I was told NOT to. It's now over 10 inches.
Nice interview and AWSOME beard Nate. Can relate to everything said. I’ve been on the big beard journey now for about 5 1/2 years. The goal is to go for at least 6 years. Have also trimmed it three time. Each trim has removed 3 to 6 inches. Curious about the beard grooming routine followed by Nate. Any chance of doing a follow up interview that focuses on big beard care? Thanks for the great content.
I’m not sure what to do with my sides? How to fade in? My head I keep bald… I need a walk through tutorial…. HELP!
I want a beard like this!¡
That's a tremendous beard. It looks like he trims his moustache (maybe..) - personally I think a big beard deserves a big moustache, but to each their own. Yes, if he were to straighten it using a hair dryer I think the whole look would change. Wouldn't be bad necessarily, just different - probably look even longer, but also probably make it look wispy at the bottom.
Hi Santa
Interesting........ I had a beard and HAD to shave during the Pan; for N95 proper fitting.
Greg has gotten so white, but looks stunning! 🙌
I didn't decide to grow a beard until I was 54, just never had an interest in it. I'm almost a year in now and it's going well.
I haven't seen one of these videos in a while, but Greg's hair looks better now rhat it is fully white.
When did your beard turn complete white
It has actual locks..very rare big beard
😂Part of the Gabby Hayes and Grizzly Adams clan🐻
Since I was able to grow a beard that didnt look like peach fuzz (24-25 years old) I’m always at stubble length (im 28 now)… i wish i could grow a full beard but its still too sparse and thin that it looks bad… the stubble makes it look like more dense and defined, thats the only reason why i use that length. I wish one day i can be able to grow something like this
same situation, being 26 and thinking about growing a beard but it still looks a little sparse and only the stubble look looks good. I would really like to grow a beard like Kratos, maybe I'll try that next year
Time to dye the eyebrows!
I'm 6'6" with a gorgeous white beard and a full head of thick hair at 76. I get compliments all the time. I like to tell the girls my beard is pubic hair. Love the reactions. Do you ever say that?
White background doesn't do any farvers to the white hair and beard ;-)
Being in law enforcement I have to keep my beard trimmed and relatively shorter.
FLY EAGLES FLY!!!🦅🦅🦅
My girlfriend never liked my beard for a while, she stopped nagging about it then one day I shaved and she became a little sad cause it was gone. I'm glad she likes it now. 😆
It's only been a year since covid how is it been 3 yrs lol
It depends upon whether your leaders viewed you as a citizen or a subject.
Great beard, you'll miss it if you ever shave it. Man, I miss my big beard
Not sure about the all white look Gregg.
Go Georgia Bulldogs 👍🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Gregs eyebrows are dark and his hair is getting whiter every day
Greg, seems you have decided to continue dying your beard?
HO HO HO 65YRS OLD ALWAYS SPORTED A GOATEE NOW FULL GRAY/WHITE BEARD GRANDKIDS AND BOSS CALL ME SANTA
first
Uhhh greg is infatuated with beards wth.
I guess its all a matter of personal taste. I don't think that beards that long actually look good. I think Greg's beard length is perfect. As a matter of fact I think he has the best beard on the Beardbrand channel.
Muhammad
No the osama beard is too long
Your mental database of long bearded people seems highly limited.
