How to Solder a SMD LED

A really close-up good quality video of me soldering a new SMD LED into place. In this case one of the LED's in the Snow Joe 24V snow blower battery pack was faulty and needed to be replaced.
The SMD LED model was a 0805 in green.

im guessing you were using maybe a .50 soldier. in the future use a .25 soldier. and even a smaller tip. makes the job much easier.

Is that LED a 0805 size?

Thanks for the video, question, after installing leds I checked lights with multimeter, they light up but they do not have the same voltage they only read 1. as oppose to 1.8 or 1.9. are they installed wrong?

How would you remove those LEDs using an iron?

You have to heat up both contacts at the same time. Or use suction or a wick to remove the solder.

За это время я бы уже 10 штук феном отпаял и запаял. Мало того ещё припоя куча, зачем?!
И пластик первого светодиода жалом паяльника потыкал. И криво припаяно.
В общем всё очень долго и плохо.
