- What’s up Bros? This week on RHONJ, the Gorgas are throwing a housewarming party and everyone’s invited (minus Teresa). Tensions are still high between the Fudas and Tre and Louie after last weeks failed lunch meeting. Danielle and Jen Aydin still have some beef to squash after Jen continues to bring up the Luna debacle. Dolores’s mom and daughter tell her it’s time for Paulie to pull the trigger and get divorced. At the Gorga’s party, things take a turn when Dolores delivers Teresa’s ‘housewarming present’ in the form of a liquor bottle. I’m sure she had no alterior motives with that one… as the night continues, Fuda is still airing out her grievances with Tre when Jackie decides to get involved. Apparently she has forgotten all the issues she herself had with Teresa, or maybe she’s just excited to hang out with the cool kids. Either way, tough showing for Jackie as she tries to talk to Dolores about not tagging her in a post, but “didn’t talk smack” only to have Marge send Dolo a screenshot of Jackie calling her a f-ing slob. Do less Jackie… but all in all not a bad RHONJ episode as this franchise continues to stumble along.

I think John was right because he’s the one Teresa is attacking. She didn’t go after Rachel, she screamed on national tv that he was the biggest drug dealer in the county. He has every right to stand up for himself because Teresa made it about him

I'm not sure how long you guys have been watching the show, but the husbands have always played a big role on RHONJ. For the first 5 seasons, the husbands went on the cast trips. Jersey has always had a family focus and the husbands have always been an integral part of the drama. Andy once had the Jersey husbands on WWHL as the guests.So this is not a new element. And the reason that Jon Fuda "got pulled into the drama" was because Teresa Guidice called him a drug dealer on national television! Does he not have right to respond and to defend himself? It's not like he's going after Teresa out of the clear blue sky.

Go back last season when FUDAS came in Hot after Theresa’s husband bc Large Marge put a battery on their backs. Tre asked everyone multiple times to leave her alone in her “Live Bubble” 😂. She didn’t care if they were trying to “protect “ her. No one listened. Tre is always, if you want None, don’t bring None bc she’s vengeful and will take her retaliation to the depth of hell. Who cares who she’s marrying, it’s her life. So the Whoville FUDAS shoudda really come on neutral 1st season. JS
@@palavergirl7450 Uhmmm...I think the "Live Bubble"😂 plotline that you are referencing was from 2 seasons ago and it was Margaret that Teresa and Louie had this conflict with. The Fudas got activated when Bo Dietal started investigating Jon's baby momma. But none of what you're saying has anything to do with what I was lecturing the Bros about. My lecture was about the husbands always having played an important role on this franchise. And they have.

New Jersey has always focused more on the men than other housewives shows. 'Jersey' revolves around the Gorga and Fuda Italian families, highlighting their traditions, communication, and dynamics, which is what makes the show interesting. Currently, Teresa's family is not Italian, and this shift may not be as appealing to viewers who are accustomed to the show's traditional focus. Teresa has had a successful run on the show, but her constant secrecy and the resulting conflicts with the original cast members added depth to her storyline. While her tumultuous life made her story compelling, some may mistake the drama for genuine interest in her character. The show could still thrive without Teresa if the rest of the cast remains. It's important to remember that just as Nene Leakes left Atlanta, Bethenny Frankel left New York, and Vicki Gunvalson left OC, Teresa could also depart from New Jersey. The idea that Teresa is indispensable to 'Jersey' is unfounded.

This season has been great: catching up with the children and pets, meeting extended family, beauty treatments, business launches, and the men, anchored by Joe Gorga being supportive and silly. The season has not suffered because of a lack of interaction between Teresa and the cast members who chose to enforce boundaries BECAUSE LUIS hired a private investigator to meddle in their lives and attempted to ruin opportunities for them. Ironically, Teresa is using this info when she calls John Fuda a drug dealer and Fugazi. She's overreacting and going hard because the Fuda's had the temerity to get with them. It's relational aggression and Teresa has wielded it against absolutely everyone who's ever appeared on this show other than her idol Dina, her #1 flunky and flying monkey, Jennifer, who she's trained to hate her brother, and Dolores, her accidental flying monkey who thinks that she's Switzerland.

Teresa is why I’m giving up on Jersey. She & Luis & Jen and Tre’s lawyer are doing things behind the scenes that go way beyond housewives! It’s really bad stuff! And it’s not rumors. One of Tre’s minions has decided to come forth and has exposed them. We’ve seen the text messages. Tre & Luis must go! The rest of the cast and their hubbies provide enough content and fun! The way it used to be! We want fun! Not this other crap!

i feel like the entire housewives franchise has become a victim of its own success. the types of wives we actually want to watch (affluent, successful, with genuine friendships) don't want to be on these shows because of what they've become. so we end up thirsty fame wh*res like Danielle, the Fudas, Monica Garcia, etc, who were Bravo superfans and would do anything to get on the show and have their "moment", and it all just ends up feeling so forced and fake, which is Boring. the reason people love the OGs and the more seasoned cast members is because they started on these shows not having any idea it would make them celebrities, so they were just sharing their real lives, and the relationships and drama felt real because of it. i don't think we'll ever get that again, no matter how many times they recast or reboot. (although i do have to start watching Miami because it sounds like they still have that vibe). rant over!
also i'm actually loving how messy Jackie is this season. it's like a bad car accident... it's so tragic but you just can't look away.

Teresa scenes with her family bothered me because she says “you guys come first” as the men in her “that’s how it should always be” it’s very uncomfortable to watch when she says stuff like this. I agree Marg is awful and she took this show too far with the ladies from the beginning. Rachel Fuda is like Marg where they cannot accept an apology for the sake of the show and will stop at nothing with their fights with Tre and Louie. It’s honestly so exhausting. I’m over Tre and Melissa. I think Jen Aydin and Jackie are both friendless and lonely irl and are so desperate to keep these jobs
The family scenes with Tre and Luis seem awkward and forced. Sitting around telling each other, I love you blah blah blah. So fake

I dont believe you have watched NJ from the beginning. You stated that things went wrong with NJ when they got the men heavily involved with the show, but the fact is the husbands have been a big part of the show from the first season. In fact all the men in the first season were an equal part of the show... Caroline's husband and sons (and son in law when he started dating her daughter), Jaquie's husband and Teresa's husband were all part of the dynamic. Which is why Melissa was brought on the show, she was brought on the show so they'd have a reason to bring Joe Gorga on because they wanted to explore family feud. Joe Gorga has always been the storyline with Teresa, everyone thinks its Teresa's hate for Melissa but its really a story of a sister jealous that someone replace her in her brother's life (which is natural to happen but Teresa can't handle not being number one) and Joe Gorga's jealousy of Teresa's husband being closer to Gorga's dad. Its a story of family jealousy and Melissa is the side character disguised as a main character which is why she's never really had her own storyline. She can't because she is the wedge and the wedge doesn't really have their own personality, its impossible because all the focus is on Teresa's hatred that Melissa took her place and that's because since the table flip shot the show into the iconic stratosphere nobody was going to be able to take Teresa's place. Watch the first 3 season and you will see that this show is the soap opera version of The Godfather with the women at the head of the family. Things went wrong with this show because they kept Melissa on it too long... because as long as these women were together it was always going to devolve to a point of no return. Teresa had been planting stories about Melissa being a cheater since Melissa first joined the show and Teresa never got sidetracked from proving she's right. Teresa has always been "if you lovre me you'll prove it by...." and if you don't play by Teresa's rules she'll cut you from her life (Jacquie, Caroline, her cousins and Danielle). Caroline was being set up to be the Godfather but from the moment of the table flip Teresa stole that crown. Caroline has the intelligence, the demeanor and the chops for the role as the head of the show but Teresa became infamous and she's held her spot by shear guts alone, her bravado and self confidence is indispensable.
Teresa is the Golden Child/Narcissist and Joe is the Scapegoat. He literally was begging his father to see, love him and respect him as his son. He was not jealous of Juicy Joe. Once again, Teresa is elevating another creep above the family, since the parents are gone, she's raising Luis above Joe to her girls.
Teresa has always weaponized her parents and particularly Gia against Joe.
Teresa gets her narcissistic supply from triggering Joe who is highly reactive from decades of being manipulated by Teresa.
Teresa really wants to see Joe miserable and unhappy and wants people to dislike him as much as Jennifer Aydin does (which is utterly weird, Thee Brooke Ashley suspects that she has a crush on Joe.)
Melissa is a tool Teresa uses to emotionally abuse her brother--she is collateral damage.
The Gorga story has been one of generational toxicity being passed through 3 generations. From Nonno and Kathy & Rosie's mother to Teresa disrespecting her aunt, cousins, and brother to Teresa passing that toxicity to Gia and the rest of her girls.
I find it fascinating that folk have Teresa on a pedestal because she has charming quirks and seems so sincere when her voice cracks while crying about family.

@@dgf6275 Hi, I agree with most of what you said. I'm not a Teresa fan, she's always driven me nuts with her hateful behavior and demands of how to prove loyalty that she never returns. I've always been team Melissa and Joe.
I was referring to the Bravbros comment that the mistake production made was going heavy with the men in the storyline and then I got on a bit of a tangent reflecting on what I see production using as the main storyline that drives the show since season 1.
While I'm not a Teresa fan I will still admit that she captured a moment in TV history with the table flip that cemented her as the main character of NJ. Bravo even stopped filming while she was in jail... there is no other housewife I can think of that they'd stop production for.
The one thing I'll debate you on is I do believe Joe Gorga was jealous of Joe Guidice's relationship with Gorgas dad. Yes it created a lot of animosity between the brothers in law but I think the core of it for J. Gorga was that he wanted the type of relationship with his dad that J. Guidice had. And the reason J. Guidice had it was because the parents clung to Teresa expecting her to take care of them as traditional Italian families do and in extention J. Guidice would take care of them too (the daughters take care of the parents).
But everything else is a yes. Yes Teresa is a narcissistic, yes she created a toxic dynamic among her family, yes she coaxed her daughters to take her side, yes she coaxed her parents to side with her, yes she's bullhead and will never admit fault or see anything from someone else's perspective, yes she's driven women off the show that would have been good TV had they stayed on.
But in saying all that Teresa has made a decades worth of good TV and every season has revolved around her, which is why Melissa has never been able to establish a storyline. That wasn't a shot i was taking at Melissa, simply the way I saw it because production couldn't make Teresa's rival a main character. Melissa always had to be Teresa's foil for what they considered good TV... and right or wrong NJ has been good TV for over 10 years.
This year I've ditched sides (but still get annoyed whenever Teresa and Luis are on the screen) and I'm curious where NJ goes from here because they've finally hit the point of no return with Teresa and Melissa. The current state of Teresa and Melissa's relationship isn't fun to watch, so what happens now?
Up until this week I thought they'd have to ditch the OG's and branch off with Danielle and Rachel with a bunch of new girls.... but after the Gorga's party I think there is plenty of interesting storylines for all the cast if Teresa is removed from the show...
.... the feud between Margret and Jackie.
... the Melissa and Rachel duo
... will Rachel and Margret forgive Jen Fessler
... Danielle figuring out her friendships with the ladies after being burned last season, plus she easily sticks up for herself
... Dolores getting into it with Jackie and Margret (in the preview trailer for this season) and holding her ground like the NJ boss she is. Now that she doesn't have to play nice with Teresa and not take a side in the feud between Teresa and Joe/Melissa it will be interesting to see Dolores get into it with the ladies and have a storyline other than Switzerland and peace maker.
... Jen Aiden could have had a lovely but messy storyline as she would have always stirred up drama with her comments and silly judgements. Except after she's been exposed as involving podcasters to leak gossip so they could use it on the show and sharing codes for the early episodes that only the housewives were supposed to get I think Bravo will probably fire her.

-Danielle used Jen and Tre for their fame at the time of the charity. Nobody knew Danielle at that time.
-Jackie is actually the only one bringing good drama this season.
-Love Delores but she’s dating a married man. Period.
-Marge is having marriage problems that she won’t discuss.
-Melissa has no story line YET AGAIN.
-I like watching Teresa’s family those girls have been through so much with both of their parents going to jail at a young age and their grandparents passing away who took care of them during all that. I like seeing them happy and together.
Teresa is the main reason why Jersey has been so bad for many seasons now. She’s not entertaining she boring and obnoxious because it’s been the same thing with her for years. How long can you watch a woman in her 50s behaving like a teenager on a constant mood swing. Teresa is NOT Jersey, everyone said Bethenny was New York, Vicki was OC, and LVP was Beverly Hills yet all those shows went on without them. Get rid of her and see how much better the show is without her. The shows failing anyway so why not give it shot.

That scene with Marg exposing Jackie’s text, was iconic! Joe pointing to his phone! Dolo got so upset because calling an Italian woman a slob is akin to calling her a whore. Jackie being a lawyer, that was not too smart to put that in a text.
