i tried it but it seems the pigment powder is only sticking on white gel with a sticky layer. I tried using the pigment powder with e.g a green base color with a white pigment for ombre but it did not work. is there perhaps any other trick cause i tried with base coat but it did not work

i been trying to figure out an easier ombre method. and this is it sis. thanks Gel ombre is the devil and ppl be on here lying about time and effort. you showed it real time and with tips and tricks to use. thanks

oh just for the tone of the colors to not be too bright. you can use other colors like white too

How would you do blue and orange without it looking brown
go with a orange or blue gel polish then you vice versus the pigment powder depending on what color polish you used. I can do a tutorial for you hun if you want
Are you supposed to use a uv light or do it while it’s wet the gel polish

Absolutely hun just remember it will finna the pigment a different tone in the color
I just tried to do this and didn't succeed. Is the neutral color supposed to be completely dry or a bit tacky? I did it a bit tacky and my powder didn't go on smoothly. Just looking for some advice. Thank you so much.

Does the base have to be colored or can it be clear?
sure hun you can use any base color. Just now the pigment will show differently depending on the base color
Do you leave the gel paint wet or not
The polish is cured. It’s the tacky layer that I apply the powder to.
Do you top coat before curing?
Or you just cured it after the gel polish application?
