    You are probably the only youtuber that measured the dimensions of the packaging box including the pellet. That was very helpful as I don't have a pick up and really wanted to ship one back to Canada.

    Cool. You can try 1/4" clear tubing and slice it open along it's length to use as hole grommets. Just cut the length to match the hole circumference.

    Though the employees wont let me take it in a suburban. Cause it says “do not tip on the box”.

    • @learnsavediy
      @learnsavediy  Před rokem

      Odd. My guess is they don’t want you to return it with any dents or damage to the sides. The packaging on the sides is significantly thinner than the top and bottom of the box but as you saw in the video the box was unharmed. Maybe try going a different day and time to get different employees?

    • @learnsavediy
      @learnsavediy  Před 2 lety

      The guys at harbor freight helped me load in the back. Easily done with 2 guys but a breeze with 3+. I’d recommend putting a thick blanket underneath before you lay it in so you can use that pull it out and also protect your rear bumper. I just slowly backed it out and then supported it as I lowered it to the ground. I’d only pull it closer to the ground the further I’d pull it out. Best advice is to get a buddy, but I did it myself just slowly. You can also get a bunch of stacked up cardboard and use that as a ramp down.

      @@paulshaar4187 honestly it wasn’t too bad. As long as you have decent upper body strength you can definitely do it.
