I made all my sprites by myself and i was very proud with them! I trained pixel art yesterday and ive improved so much. And when i made my sprites and put them in a folder, i was like: Hmm i can make a mine and sell game!
And then this perfect tutorial comes up.

I always take a screenshot of pixel art like that and put it in a online color picker website and draw it

hey so uh i am making a Terraria fan game and the tiles are supposed to be 20 x 20 and i am seeing white lines for a split moment on the sides before its filled in please help me

Please help me! I’m up to 13:40 and it’s not working! One of the tiles is misplaced and has gaps around the edges! Why is this happening and how do I fix it?!
though i said that to say, i imported textures from minecraft alpha to get this working, and was too lazy to downsize every tile, so i just changed a few values and it works with a size of 250 or a scale of 2.5, with the clone count x and y values floored. basically im saying even though you may not have intended for it to be this flexible, you literally made something very flexible to modify, as i, a complete idiot, was able to mod it :) your a genius

my not working well the trees making the generation going like "\" i dont know how to say it but it looks like that
sprite size in scratch is wierd, though to sum it up, scratch suppourts half pixels, so when you import it, it displays the size from a floored input of pixels, the half pixels are bitmap brush size 1, as a 2x2 in brush size 1, results in a 1x1 size display, but because you can export images in bitmap, it has to be doubled in size if it has any half pixels...

Hallo!! I have a small problem when creating the clone grid of the last step, my tiles doesn't show, and the one that shows is only one tile. I am at 10th grade in a vocational school in Indonesia (and yes, i am an indonesian) i have a project to make a game, and i find your videos are easy to understand. Are you sure you copied everything correctly? It's REALLY easy to accidentally put the wrong variable in an input somewhere in your code.
but how you going to do it with tiles from 18 by 18
I've checked a few times and I don't see any differences with the code but when I press play the TileManager won't cover the screen? I've made it to 11:37.
Did you show the tiles?
@@ShiftClickLearn Yes, i showed it and made it the same size but it only quadrupled and then stopped duplicating.
I was wondering why at the start the tiles were not filling up the screen, but I checked back through the code and I saw that I accidentally put 480 instead of 360 for the _TileAmountY variable!

For the tiles getting stuck you could also make a bigger costume and switch before the positioning and then switch back after

Hello!
I encountered an issue with this code. When I move right and left, the scrolling is seamless, but if I move up and down, I can see the tiles looping. I followed your instructions carefully and double-checked to make sure I did it correctly. Could you let me know what I might have done wrong?

I tried following this because i would like to know how map generating was but unfortunantly when i made the tile looping for up and down it just got rid of the tiles that was supposed to change place( i figured it out)

At the end was the tile loop cap still supposed to be 260 cuz mine switched down to 200 but the scrolling still works (up down left right)
