I will NEVER FORGET... April 1977 was my first concert at the Montreal Forum... Cheap Trick opened up for KISS!!! one of my all time favorite concerts!!!!
In 78 i was a sophmore in hs. I saw them at robertsville IN, my ears rang for a week, that was my first ever concert, i was hooked. Ultimately i saw them 3 times, checker dome in st,louis and in carbondale illinois, the s is silent. However i just outgrew them but the memories will last forever
Arrgghhhh,mateys-I be a faithfull KISS ARMY member since early 1978, and actually first sampled thier most interesting rumble in '75. Luv the part where Gene & Paul are facing off w/ the rocking instruments.
i love they music very much. I'm not a fan for a long time, but this song it kick your ass. I didn't know this song was so old. I have seen it first time in 1996, but here it now, wow, 1978 !
when i was young i loved these guys for the show never really cared about the music. But now i see these guys were really great musicians, rock on ace.
It's still amazing to me how many people try to cut them down by saying their music is average. In Gene's book he states their music is average if not below. Fully admitted. But they took that, made it marketable, and it sold. In return, they definitely made their mark. We all know Ace is not the best solo player...but her very distinct style along with the songs made great tunes. No matter how much you hate them...they are still here and loud.
You now when people tell me that kiss or other rock in roll are too" 80 s" I think that it s not there fault because they weren't in the day s were rock n rock was famous, and I now that rock n roll will always live and be the best .good job acekiss77!!!!🎸🎸
I love how paul runs off stage at the end, trades his Iceman for a danelectro and bust it up and hands it down, now say you got it and show it to your friends, they'd laugh at you!
@bulaba911 The "TV presenter" is Dick Clark, a legend in rock and roll T.V. He actually became pretty close to the band and holds a great deal of admiration for them.
thats the problem with most bands, they just don't want to stop. But I understand them, if you did your whole life nothing else than making music you just don't want to stop. And I still like to listen to them, I would not pay 60 bucks to go on a concert but I like to listen to them
my dads friend has a broken guitar from one of there concerts back in the early 80s...i dont want to know how much that guitar is worth.....plus he got it signed by the group..
this version is the popular one, but the original version where Gene's voice is less demonic is the one I remember more.. probably because I had the singing pop version first.
The one & only KISS! I agree with the psoter here who said Gene is an idiot for letting Ace go, but Ace had enough the second time around... it was the same old, same old. I think Gene is ungrateful to Peter & Ace 'cos without them the Reunion wouldn't have happened and KISS 2011 would not exist now. I think Paul misses playing with Ace... Paul & Tommy have no onstage chemistry. KISS IS ACE, PAUL, GENE & PETER!!
I think of people I tell myself trust by rather vibens year pass our next levels I before I appreciate die already I'm today all right kinda cute different
The members of Guns N' Roses were teenagers in 1978. Slash and Steven were the youngest, Axl, Izzy and Duff were in their mid-teens and Matt was the oldest. You're the same age as Slash and you're making this comment?
@benchmat my friend went to dte music theater in clarkston to see alice cooper and he calls me at work to tell me ace frehly warmed up for alice cooper.
@bytebull Get your facts. Van Halen was playing in clubs trying for that record contract for almost 6 years before finally hitting it big. However the bands of the 70's are zeppelin floyd the who. maybe kiss. not van halen their success was in the 80s
im not going against rock n roll i always choose rock over rap because its crap but you have to remember kiss, acdc, aerosmith and other lengend and bands of rock will live for ever its just the eara of music you cant force kids/teens to listen to great music like this but dont worry kids 100 years from now will love this music still because rock will rock on for ever its unstoppable like the KISS ARMY
WARNING! This vid won't last forever, as sooner or later, CZcams's useless Copyright rules will steal this off the net! Oh, did you know that the actual KISS was featured in Fairly OddParents: WISHOLOGY?
