This is by far the best tutorial I've seen for a realistic-looking rose. The others don't create the center of the rose correctly.

I watch lots of other videos on how to make coffee filter roses and everybody did it differently. However, yours was the most easiest to understand and make. I now have a vase full of 9 the most beautiful roses ever! Thank you so much for sharing and showing how this process works. I am going to use these for mothers day gifts and birthdays also.

What a great idea now I learn another technique making flower roses. When I was a child I would make them with crape paper. They look so real and beautiful.

So very beautiful !! LOL !! The fake roses on your rose bush reminded me of when I finally had a daughter! I had three sons in a row and then had a girl!! MY sister took fake pink roses and fastened them to a shrub in my front yard for when we arrived home! We were all celebrating our baby girl !
Beautiful! I love using coffee filters for making roses. I haven’t tried this technique before but can’t wait to try! I have also used food coloring to dye my filters. I dye some green and cut leaves from them. I’ve made roses by folding the filter in half, half again & again, cutting the petal shape. I then unfold to just the first half fold. I use a tweezers pinching the top, holding the pointed end with my other hand and twisting/ rolling towards the center & then glueing . I hope that makes sense. I have wanted to learn this for a while, thank you for sharing. I soaked 9 coffee filters in old coffee. They are drying now when I finish my first rose I will post it. I am excited.

I’ve been making coffee filter roses for about two weeks. It’s real addictive. I’ve Been looking at everybody’s. They are all a little different. Yours are beautiful. I love the Peonies. I’ve made a couple of those and there’s turned out real good. I seem to be getting worse as I go along. I started out with Your Heart a Home. She’s really good like you at everything she does.
