I'm impressed by Hoopers awareness when he sees Faires on the ground, he immediately goes to check up on him instead of celebrating his own new world record. The sportsmanship in strongman is remarkable
Most of the top giants except halfthor and Marius are so supportive and down to earth. When there's only like 5 guys on the planet that can challenge what you do you want them to push you as far as you can go. Some real Goku and Vegeta stuff.

Might be an unpopular opinion but I like this new era where ultra fit mega strong guys are good at mega heavy bordering on cardio compounds are dominating like Licis and Hooper. There will always be great competitions for the static monsters like Stoltman, Shaw, Halfthor etc. I wonder how Eddie would fair in todays physically quicker events, he's a cardio monster.

What's impressive about Hooper is he achieves these on relatively low calories . I think he only eats around 4000 calories where as most strong men are nearer 10,000.

*I rarely try to call a winner in any sport, but I saw Mitch maybe 1 or 2 weeks before TWSM, performing in a video, and was convinced he would probably win so I actually had the nerve to say it, and then he did.*
Martins had a shockingly quick rise to take 1st place but I think now Mitch's was the fastest.
