I have purchased the kit and used both how to options for install. I am not a mechanic but am a car guy. This how to helps a ton. I was able to do it all myself and it truly is an easy task you may swear a few times but over all pretty easy job. I recommend the kits and most people should have no problem! Good luck to you all they are a blast!
I don't plan on doing this any time in the next few years, but I'm happy you made one of these install videos. Love watching stuff like this
Quality at its finest thank you for this very informational and helpful video
Great video, but as a proper man, I refuse to read the manual until I'm crying in a corner wondering why it doesn't start. I know I'm not alone.
How haven’t you got more followers. Your information is top class. I love original minis, it was my first car I owned and I will always regret selling it for £70. A rust bucket costs a minimum of around £4K now in the Uk. Great video. 👍
Nice to learn that 👌
Great video explanation on the install, looks like you had fun, clear instructions..Used to have an MG Metro Turbo (quite similar) back in the mid 80's and it was a hoot to drive, really bad torque steer when booting out from a junction but all part of the excitement. Make sure the gearbox is up to it though, I blew one to bits (casing split) due to the torque....one point of note the old Metro turbo had on top of the carb a circular clamp from the dash pot to the oil damper nut to stop it being blown out...do you need one on your kit ?? great channel love the passion for the good old British classic...big up from over the Pond in the UK..
Can you do a tour video of that blacked out mini with the union jack roof?
A great and very well-thought-out Turbo Kit! 👏😃👍
Great video, it makes installation very easy for buyers. 🙌
While ive got the head off would it benefit from stainless steel valves or are the standard vales good enough?
May I know how to solve the problem of temp over heating? Thx
Is there a video on that mat black coop?
How much different to put in a 68 sprite. Could turbo kit and fuel injection system work with a mg midget 1500 i know different manifolds of course any thoughts on a 1500 kit? I have a 1275 bored and stroked to 1480 apt cam 9000+ rpm rated that needs a better induction system
most importantly, what is that wing/front panel cover and where can i get one
Hey guys great video! Is this the base turbo kit or the hif 44 carb turbo kit? Can i use my existing carb with the base kit, and do all kits require to cut 2 in off the down pipe?😮
Not all require to cut 2" off downpipe. It depends on how long the muffler front pipe is. Yes you can use your existing carb if it is HIF44
Do you have a wiring diagram for this car model?
I will be working on a 1974 Innocenti here very soon. The car has your sticker on the window and also looks like it already has some of your performance parts 🤷♂️... The owner wants to vtec swap the car but I am going to see if we can maybe turbo charge it instead... Its possible we might be talking/ working with you in the very near future. #ChallengeTheBuild
Give us a call and we can discuss options 503-869-4294
I don’t suppose you guys would sell the stepped washers separately? They’d be handy!
Yes that was always the plan. Do you want some?
Why no seatbelts guys?
Do you ship to the UK?
YES! at the moment there is a FREE shipping worldwide promo hurry and order one

Serious question... Were all classic minis sold in the US badged as Coopers, as Americans seem to refer to all as "mini cooper" yet a Cooper was a special model elsewhere in the world.
they weren't all badged as coopers, but us Americans like using 'name brand' names for everything: ziploc bags, band-aids, tylenol, etc. Cooper was probably what was heard about and it just stuck for some reason. I'm not sure, as I was not alive when these were sold here.
It’s because in the US Bmw labeled all minis as Coopers. So everyone under the age of 60 probably only knows them like that. So by default they call the old ones that too.
Although I hate it. I find myself saying Cooper to non mini people so they can understand what I am talking about.
Looks like a nightmare
Yawn
No turbos please, superchargers yes, turbos no.
