    Here in the states, that strip of land is often owned by the city. It may be prudent to call your town hall before spending time and money. LOVE THIS (where feasible)!!!

    Thanks for opening the comments! 😊 Are the rules the same in NSW? A friend of mine planted a jacaranda and it was removed in days.
    Can you actually frame what you plant to contain the soil?

      Hello, the rules vary from state to state and even council to council. Re your friend planting a Jacaranda - some councils don't like you planting trees on the nature strip or verge - this may because there are assets (ie fibre cables etc) running underneath. Re framing I think your mean raising the level. Pretty sure the rule in the ACT was by 1500 mm only (ie a step height) and you need to make sure people can step off the kerb safely. So you couldn't put say a timber edge right next to the kerb. Hope this helps. Edwina

    Very informative segment, however the rocking, zooming in and out camera work is REALLY annoying and distracting 🙄
