    I love to hear it rain at night and it helps me to sleep also but don't think i'd want to be in a tent when all hell broke loose. Your lucky you didn't get blown away with the high winds. Or washed out by the heavy rains. But im like you , it sounded good coming down. Glad your in one piece this morning. Thanks for the video. Stay safe.

    I do also have all my motorcycle gears from Naturehike since 2016
    Used in any weather conditions and neve failed they held strongly

    I would love to have a camping cup for when I'm out at my hunting blind. It's similar to a tent but hard sided and I could even spend the night in it if I wanted.

      Did you get it? I'm sorely tempted. I like the design for stability in storms, but anything less than the 3-man looks positively coffin-like to me (a claustrophobic wuss), to be stuck in _during_ said storms.

    Awesome, thanks for the heavy rain test. Helped me decide to get one from Ali. I'm going for the Naturehike Igloo 70D Tent. Its a little heavier, but more suited to alpine conditions. Doing the Molesworth on my motorbike March.

      I'm also interested with igloo tent, could you let me know what do you think when you have it. I thought about mongar but 3 seasons. Hilleberg IS 4 Season and tunnel like this one but so expensive 😅 i Guess good Price but not affordable.
      Only problem IS not so much place for 5kg...

    Not much doubt that this tent will keep you dry, but I wish there was a bit more description of the tent itself, ease of setup etc.

    If you're still watching this comment section; did you find that bedroom pod cramped at all, or was it just sort of cosy for you?
    I am contemplating the 3 man (so, slightly larger), as I love this design for a storm tent, but I can get a little antsy in close spaces (though, to start with, I would obviously make sure my head was up the more spacious end).

      I sleep both ends. Also if it's raining and super windy rain spray gets under the tent so sometimes I spin around so I'm at the other end. Comfy both ways

    Where you had your head, how much lower is it than where the door is? Did you just set up that way to shoot the video or do you sleep that way?

      im 187 cm tall so the tent is abit tight for me. the 3 person has more headroom and length. the Opalus 4 even more room

    Greetings mate. Some videos I have seen claim that rain comes in via the vents when their open. Did you experience this issue? I guess it depends on wind direction driving the rain and if your in a sheltered spot or not. ATB.

      It didn't actually leak. Its because I had the floor tarp poking out and water was running down the outside of the tent onto it. The zip had a slow leak but never really started to drip. Ive since seam sealed around the zip and some other areas on the tent. Thanks for youre question

    The green version of this tent is more water resistant at 4000mm compared to the orange tent at 3000mm.

      Correct. The green is a 4 season tent. The orange 210t model is great for the conditions here in New Zealand

      @@OutdoorsWithCWest I wouldn't class the green as a 4 season tent either as it does not have skirts around the base of the tent which a true 4 season tent should have, also the internal tent is most made of mesh netting which 4 season tents are not. It is a 3 season tent with better durability to heavier rainfall and is also a lighter wight tent than the orange version due to the material it is made of.

      My understanding is that the darker colour of the fly also translates to a slightly darker tent (meaning better kips). I'm personally considering that one.

      @@mysterylovescompany2657 After having now used this tent I find it annoying due to how low the tent is and it's lack of ventilation. On a hot summers day it was unbearable and like sitting inside an oven and due to the porch vestibule area not having a groundsheet this cause a lot of condensation to build up inside the tent.
