Cavill: Thank you for believing in me.
Reeves: Listen, there's something I have to do.
Reeves Superman flies at hyper light-speed and reverses James Gunn's decision and brings back Cavill and thus Man of Steel 2 gets made.
This comment made me smile :)
facts
Only if they write Superman correctly and change the tone.
@@Monkees4Evah If he used an apostrophe, "Reeve's" Superman, then it would've been correct.
Amazing comment
I like that Superman just made a quick stop to check up on Superman.
What a nice and caring man. 🙂
That's super, man! 😏👍
That's exactly who Superman is, especially the Christopher Reeve version
Superman went so fast he breaks the barrier between realities and meets a parallel version of himself
You mean what a self-obsessed man.
There was a story where Kingdom Come Superman, a much older and wiser version of Superman travels to a different reality and meets a younger Superman and he becomes the mentor for this younger Superman, so I could totally see this happening
R.I.P Christopher Reeve. You’ll always be the one true original man of steel.
yes unfortunately both Reeves George and Chris fell to the Superman curse...
@@xxalazin Christopher was Reeve and George was Reeves.
Christopher Reeves died????? 🤯
He ain’t resting. R.I.P. is a misnomer, our consciousness is energetic and active in the next realm…
Christopher Reeve wasn't the original Man of Steel, but he is the best. Henry Cavill is second best.
It's so nice to see Christopher Reeves as Superman again. I don't see another actor ever surpassing how Reeves embodied Superman.
Reeve is the best actor to ever embody a heroic and ideal Superman everyone idolizes. And Henry is the best actor for Superman with a realism aspect in a live action.
@@heiligekuhdasisteinesehrpo1766 Those are good points.
There’s always a possibility someone can top another person’s accomplishment. But when you set the gold standard and it last for so long, often times that is more meaningful. Kind of like how people care more about Babe Ruth than the two men who broke his record.
Brandon Routh was such a good continuation of that Superman though. Just wish he had more of an opportunity to do so.
@@LilypadLandingsBrandon Routh was doing a Christopher Reeve impersonation. He was still good though.
This was really touching. A wonderful tribute. Thank you.
My two favorite Supermen finally meeting each other…
God I wish we could have gotten this as a film.
Totally agree they are both my 2 favorite Superman
w opinion
we just did
At least we got it in Smallville
They could kind of do this with Brandon Ruth...
I went through every line spoken in Man of Steel, BVS, and Justice League and Superman 1978. The reason the dialogue is a little confusing is because there were no other usable lines (except for two lines that I cut). Consider this video as a metaphor for Henry Cavill thanking Reeve for passing the torch. It's to honor the past and the present and I hope you can find some enjoyment. Happy Easter!
Thanks for this cool Video! 🔝🙏🏻
And happy Easter! 🐇
It’s a masterpiece
Bro, that's the gayest shit I've ever seen XD czcams.com/video/Aans1NymhBc/video.html
P, 😂
Thank you for this Free Boredom
Thank you for this beautiful tribute. You really just brightened my day 🙂👍
To the great late Christopher Reeves, you are missed
And to Henry Cavill, great job. Super men
Best of luck, Henry. The studios may not have had enough faith in you, but the fans are still grateful for the time we had.
Henry will be back, give it ten years and he’ll be Kingdom Come Superman or Kal-L
@@chadking375 i thought the same. In ten years he'll be back for Kingdom Come Superman.
@@chadking375 that would be pretty badass
@@hopefullyanonymous3466 It’ll happen, Routh set a precedent, any old Superman actor can return as Earth 2 Superman, Kingdom Come or the evil doppelgängers like Eradicator, Ultraman or Injustice-types.
You spelled grateful wrong.
This is such a wholesome interaction it would really fit a super man no way home movie
There could never be such a movie. At least, not with that title. Because Superman is about hope. He would find a way home.
The 1978 Superman died, but yeah it would be great! Edit: the people replying to me are giving me great ideas on how to fix this with cgi and stuff, you don’t need to give me anymore ideas now.
Fr it would be awesome to see that
Now dc fans are so frustrated that they are suggesting an dc movie with a title like marvel 😁
It'd be great if we got that interaction between Brandon Routh's Superman and Henry Cavill's.
This was brilliant, and a great way to pay tribute to both. Nice work.
Thanks, glad you liked it!
-Talk about tears to my eyes..! -Christopher Reeve, for all time..! -R.I.P..!
The 1978 movie came out 30 years before I was born but it's still one of my most favorite superhero movies
New Superman movies have that problem, that over the top right away. Marvel did the same and many other mistakes, in my opinion. I stopped watching those movies fast too. Man of steel was quite good in some ways, but too dark too soon. And after it just crap, no matter whose versions. Aquaman was pretty good movie too.
Wow then its not just me ;-)
Superman 2 was such a great super hero movie.
boy..you still.a kid...😅
@@azroyazhar4481 ikr lol
Just imagine a world where Reeves made a cameo in Cavill's Superman movie ❤😢
I think you mean Reeve. You see, there was a Reeve and a Reeves.
@@DaleWinarski You know god damn well who he meant
Well roll in a person in a wheel chair and cgi his face on him. Reeve was never going to be superman again. It wasn't fair. It sucked. But it was the truth.
He had a cameo in Smallville at least
Well Reeve technically did have a cameo in Man of Steel. The scene where supermans going up the beam towards the world engine you seen henry's face change to Reeves for a abit. Its a tribute
This is wonderful. I remember when the Superman movies would be on TV and we would always watch them. Absolutely brilliant! So wholesome!
Thank you!!!!! I loved this❤❤❤❤
A beautiful tribute to two great Supermen. Well done....
U r so gay
This was dumb AF. lol
This is the Superman equivalent of "One Legend to another".
Imagine thinking cavil made a mark lmao
@@Dikbeeg There was an attempt.
This is emotional!! Beautiful, and wholesome. Thank you!!
Thank you for this, Mr Reeve. You're the only and real one...
This is so beautiful tribute for Christopher Reeve 😊❤
really sad what happened to him
@@holliswilliams8426 On May 27, 1995, Reeve broke his neck when he was thrown from a horse during an equestrian competition in Culpeper, Virginia. The injury paralyzed him from the shoulders down, and he used a wheelchair and ventilator for the rest of his life. On October 10, 2004, Christopher Reeve, who became famous for his starring role in four Superman films, dies from heart failure at the age of 52 at a hospital near his home in Westchester County, New York.
@@MikosVlog 😢 that's sad man
Magnificent! You made me cry! Thanks for it!
This was beautiful!! Thank you!!
Henry Cavill Superman: Thank you. For believing in me.
Christopher Reeve Superman: I didn't need to. I always knew you would do great.
Even the U.S. Army recognizes Chris Reeve as the real Superman.
Christopher Revee is the actual idol for Superman. No one can take his place. His personality truly meant for it. Remaining actors are ok. But Christopher Revee will always be my all time Superman. Truly love him and miss him.
I needed this video in my life today. Thanks!
Very cool. Thank you for doing this.
Superman and Superman meeting each other. Thats a great multiverse concept
I love this so much, still wish Henry Cavill got to do more with Superman as he was born for the role like Christopher Reeve before him.
Still, sometimes it's better to stop while things are good. I like Reeve in Superman, Superman 2 was okay (yeah, I probably rank it lower than most fans), Superman 3 was... kinda bad, Superman 4 seemed mediocre. Granted, I blame that on the writing (if kryptonite chewing tobacco cloning the hero is something which makes it into the final draft, there might have been some problems).
@@calebowens693 things weren’t good for Henry Cavills Superman though, they really did him dirty and never allowed him to reach his full potential as Superman
@@broadacresyungbuddha8388 that happened to Brandon Routh as well. He was a wonderful classic Superman but people complained and complained until they canceled him. Then we had the man of steel movie which rejected everything a Superman movie should have been.
I love you for making this. ❤️
OMG, I've watched this 100 times and it's spectacular. Thank you. My 2 favourite Supermen.
RIP Christopher Reeve! This was as others said, so wholesome and sweet. Makes you smile. Both are/were tremendous actors with huge hearts
REEVE. this guy's name was REEVE
@@irvingwashington8638 you're thinking of keanu reeve... 😉
and both were PERFECT for the role!
@@irvingwashington8638 - yes! The first guy that I know of who played Superman on TV was George Reeves. 1978 was Christophe Reeve.
I was so emotional looking at this. I love these guys. And they are perfect as Superman their own way.
REALLY LOVELY!! You did some excellent work there!!!
Chorei!!!! O herói da minha infância!!
Os melhores de todos os tempos juntos!! Graças a tecnologia!! Parabéns ao criador do vídeo!!!
Cavil was good, no issue.
But Reeves was the embodiment of the character. If you called to the sky and begged someone to save you, it was him.
Truly the kind soul and altruistic character one aspires to live up to.
Facts. Reeves Superman is just right. Too bad the movies are mostly garbo.
"Reeves."
😏
@@andyderksen8455 Mandela effect. There’s a newspaper article that calls him Reeves
@@hopefullyanonymous3466 Lol, yeah, exactly the Mandela effoct👍👍👍
@@stueymorris I’m not joking. Seriously. Look it up. Back in the height of his glory his last name was reeves. Everyone called him that.
I love this so much. I saw Superman in the theater when it came out back in the day. Christopher Reeves will always be Superman in my heart but I think we have room in there for Henry too.
Same.
And absolutely! ❤️
Yes! Both absolutely look PERFECT for the role!
Henry was/is truly great but one thing he can never equal Chris with is Mr Reeves stood at the lore-accurate height of 6’4”🤓
I know it might be a little weird, but his name is Christopher Reeve, not Reeves. 🙂
@@raygunn4392 this used to be such a common mistake because the previous live action Superman was the 50s TV series in which George Reeves played the lead role and they kept repeating that old series right up to the 1980s so baby boomers and gen x still commonly make that mistake. (Ben Aflec played George Reeves in a really good biographical movie)
I got no words except maybe AWESOME , UNBELIEVABLE! and thank you!
This was wholesome and wonderful. Thank you
Cavill and Reeves are the best superman actors 🤗🤗🤗
I remember the day my parents took me to see Superman. Afterwards, I was literally humming John Williams' theme song in the parking lot. Unforgettable soundtrack, stellar cast, an all-around CLASSIC!
I was 11 and so excited. I pretended to fly everywhere I went the minute I came out of that theater.
Oh.. so emotional. Amazing editing. Thank you for this. ❤
Who is here after Reeve's cameo in the Flash
The fact its cgi then it turns to be tribute damn i missed him when i was a younger i always watch his movie
"Christopher Reeve is Superman, Henry Cavill is Superman."
Brandon Routh: "We live in a society"
Brandon routh and Christopher reeve are the same superman
@@ImmortanJoeOfficial And Kevin Spacey is Gene Hackman's Lex Luthor.
I literally broke into tears. This was such a wholesome and well put together video. While Reeves is Superman, I love both him and Cavil as they were both born for the role.
You broke into tears over this?
@@swashington942 yeah i was astonished by the comment... tears really?
@@mohitkumarsahu3494For us it might be astonishing, but we don't know the full picture. Perhaps, just for example the oc is a hardcore dc fan, whose life is essentially defined by those stories. Now the tears thing becomes pretty understandable, doesn't it?

This was so lovely to see. I'm so glad this showed up at my recommendations. I mean it was really beautiful how Well edited this was. Having Henry Cavill thank Christopher Reeve. So beautiful
It's such a simple and short crossover and yet it's so wholesome. Neither Superman comparing themself to the other but instead supporting each other like in Spider-Man: No Way Home. I think the only thing missing was a hand shake between the two like honest gentlemen.
Superman: Into the Super-Verse
Thank you!!!!❤
That was amazing,well done.
Christopher Reeve & Henry Cavill *ARE* Superman... Thank you for this
It felt like:
Sup 1: Oh, ok.

The 2 greatest Supermen that brought and gave us hope in our hearts.
R.I.P Christopher Reeves
Long Live Henry Cavill
Aww!
This was so amazing!
Honestly I really liked those old superman movies and you really did justice to Christopher and Henry.
Nice copyright-free music, Free Boredom.
This so goddamn wholesome, Brandon Routh may be my personal favorite Superman, especially his debut as kingdom come Superman in the crisis of infinite earths, but seeing Christopher meets Henry Cavill is just ugh! The emotions!
Superman returns>>>
Wasn't a big fan of Superman Returns, didn't like quite a bit of how Crisis on Infinite Earths was butchered by the Arrowverse, etc... Still, Routh absolutely nailed it as Kingdom Come Superman. I've been a big fan of Kingdom Come for a long time, and seeing that Superman brought to the screen was amazing. I'm still salty by how poorly Kevin Conroy's Batman was treated (although seeing him play Bruce Wayne at all in live action was a treat), but there were still some things done well. Now, Burt Ward looking up and saying "holy crimson death in the skies" had to be my favorite thing that they did.
Exactly ugh! the friggin emotions making me teary
Superman Returns is a very underappreciated classic Superman movie.
Superman returns was awesome it’s it’s own way Brandon routh nailed it clean.. 👊🏼❤️
Wow this was beautiful! Thank you for making this!
Awesome thanks for the memories 😁
Mom! Free Boredom uploaded!
I like both Christopher Reeves' Superman and Henry Cavill's Superman. Seeing them interacting is really inspirational and just happiness. If Reeves was still alive he could have played Jor-El in Man of Steel.
Nicely done thank you for sharing
Well done, very well done - thanks
Christopher Reeves for all time Superman 😊
Wow, what an emotional video, our beloved Christopher D'Olier Reeve alive while meeting Henry Cavill. Excellent, it almost makes me cry.
Rest in Peace Christopher D'Olier Reeve!

good job for putting christopher reeve in that video because i did watch smallville months ago and he was in that show before he passed away when he met tom welling this is the legacy of superman
