Thanks Klaus, really nice videos very helpful. Lesson learned-remove the lines and the sensor First, then use a small pick to get under the clip, it goes in much easier than the small screw driver. you don't have to remove the clip, just wedge it under the clip firmly and use the wrench and it pops out smoothly.

I have a 2009 SLK 350 and the 2 trunk cylinders have slipped off the track and have extended and wedged into the trunk bracket. So the trunk it wedged shut. Is there anyway to buypass the trnk to open it?
