Love the curves, no sharp edges!!
I have been watching van videos nonstop for several weeks, and zenvanz round safe designs are my favorite I have seen. Were I fortunate enough, I would get one through them. Just wow.
Awesome fridge
This refrigeration unit is a game changer
I’m looking at bamboo for it’s eco-friendliness and flexibility. The curved cabinets are not only practical in that you’re safer at head height, but adding that curve opens up the space visually. ‘Vitrafrigo’ fridge looks very interesting. Impressive low weight for the kit.
Great build. Great company. Great Video. Thanks Jerrod.
What a beautiful tiny home. Like the bamboo finished. Great job.
WOW! just WOW!
Wow, this is a really cool van, would love to have this. Thanks for the tour.
First few minutes…..beautiful interior
No pointy ouchy corners 🤜🤛👌I’m loving this❤️
Lusting after that galley & cabs!!
Got plenty manly heavy duty ready for everything after that
Wow another fun to watch informative and entertaining 👍
This is an amazing build and a great interview. Well done gentlemen!
Thanks!
Yes yes yes bamboo and rounded corners plus hangers and screens ….haven’t even ‘weighed in ‘ on basic zen features.
Mod. U. Lar.
He said, "plug-and-play". YASSSSSS! Exactly! That's what I can see for van shell templates of the future. Full interior self-customization. Love the huge sliding door. Can totally see this up in the mountains around Tahoe. Another gorgeous build out.
yep. really cool that it uses the factory mounts too. I saw the price on their website. 18k for a short wheelbase van for the two lower cabinet runs with countertops on each side, the 7 upper cabinets and the bed frame. appliances and wall/ceiling panels are all extra.
Hi Jarrod
Always enjoy your Van Tour Videos
Thanks !!👍
my favourite van i have seen so far!!!!!!
I really like your builds have watched the other video as well and loved those features also
What an amazing build! Love it!
Really nice design
One of your best.
My favorite ever!
That is a nice vehicle 🙂
Another Awesome vlog 👍
thanks
This van is absolutely breathtaking. I’m mean wow. Was that a finished build? I have a question? Why are the rear doors always left with the factory paint? So much design and effort goes into the cabinetry? Am I missing something. And lastly… I would cover the exposed screw heads. This isn’t me trolling. I think it’s one of the most beautiful specs out there. Very wow…. Can’t wait to see what you design next.
I'm not an overlander guy but I have to say, this rig looks awesome. It's not overly utilitarian in fact, the interior is hands down attractive and light weight - OMG!
Add to the pleasing aesthetics, all the best equipment inside and out and that van is a winner.
@@GOLDVIOLINbowofdeath Standard DIY kit for a 144wb van is under 500lbs!
I noticed that the chess board is the wrong way around (white square should be in the right corner), unless they want to play chess with somebody inside the van !
Jerry
I need to be rich AF...awesome build!!
GOOD bug screens are ESSENTIAL! 😱
How the heck do you build curved cabinets w bent aluminum? Amazing!
Equal parts magic, love and determination!! =)
wood is steam bent in forms. Bending a radius in metal is easy, especially aluminum because its so soft. There are tools that can bend to whatever angle you want.
Thanks for the tour Jarrod!
Definitely one of their better builds.
Thanks! Nice to get back to our overlanding roots! ;)
I would once see a show of what they put against the walls and floor on the metal of the van
I have a few different build series showing all that
love the design all besides the knife drawer. One Hard crash them knifes are coming out of there! Passenger might be in trouble. This is a Rich persons "Get lost " Van!
I can assure you, we've done some serious off roading, the knives have not moved. There's a greater chance you'll cut your hand reaching into a standard drawer to use them, than there is of having a serious crash and getting skewered by them. If this is the only negative comment you come come up with them it's a successful build.
I purchased a kit in May 2021, installed. I asked about black powder coating and Brent told me they don’t offer that. I was never given the option of a dual fridge despite you saying in the video that you’ve been offering this since last year. Feel like for $26k… lots were withheld from me. Maybe because I’m female??.
We try to offer as much flexibility/customization in our DIY kits as possible but there's a limit.
Both of these items have so far only been add-ons/options for our full/custom builds; not yet available for the DIY kits (but hopefully soon)!
@@GOLDVIOLINbowofdeath Most of our clients add-on several other items, including bamboo ceiling slats and wall/door panels, kitchen fixtures/appliances. etc
I have a 144 but had a few things in the kit removed and a few things added on. A full kitchen galley (sink, fridge, cooktop) I learned, is a large expense. Ask many questions before getting involved.
I did not get the ceiling or walls, just kitchen galley, bed frame, and drivers side shelves. Oh, I think the lagoon table and door hooks, along with installation, are what pushed it from $18 to 26. This company is super expensive especially for a non-millionaire.
This Jarrod guy just has too much energy. Good energy to be precised
What a clean and nice build, really nice with all the curved edges and bamboo is anti fungus afaik. So great choice for van builds. Only thing I would change would be a lifting bed, and two benches and flip down table below it, and I likely would close of the front with a partition wall/doorway to make for easier temp management. Yeah magnet knife strips are great in vans if you always remove the knifes before driving. Imagine a front end collision and flying knifes into the skulls of driver and passenger.
Let"s do it!
We have another van in house right now with bed lift and dinette below (and most of our builds have the insulated partition as well)!
@@ZENVANZ Partition wall is great, keeping the living area and cab isolated from each other makes for so much easier thermal management. Summer or winter, van will be much better temperature regulated if that space is possible to close off. Looking forward to see the complete build, I would also enjoy watching you build out that new van if you got the time to shoot and edit.
I love this van what would have to do to have something like this
Sell your 1st born male child
Contact them
@@LilyWasHereMB lol jokes like that come from people who can't have kids
recessing hooks into the liner may reduce risk of breakoff
At some point I would put up hooks on the divider for hanging stuff. No vans without hooks 😃😃😃
We actually added hooks and boxes (photos on the website).. just didn't get them finished for this video ;)
What type of refrigerator are you using?
Gotta interview the buyer - where the heck is he going with this thing?
Absolutely love this build! But am I the only one who noticed that the chess board seems to need to be rotated by 90 degrees? :D Otherwise you're playing into a wall.
Jarrod, would love to get in touch with you.
What’s the best way?

@@JarrodTocci also messaged you on IG
Great build. Wish some of these companies like Owl manufactured for Promasters. Thank you.
They do custom work.
bit late to point out but the chess board might be better rotated 90 degrees so two people can play across from each other. great work nonetheless.
What a beautiful van conversation but brother can you spare $200k because I’m seeing major money for it. Excellent interview and tour though.
The most rugged overland vehicles would not be Mercedes sprinters. Seems like an odd choice. Maybe I am wrong? Beautiful bamboo and bent aluminum cabinets.
Overland van though. Overland vehicle is different. That’s like me saying check out this overland Jeep and someone saying, but I’d rather use a tacoma to overland with. Any vehicle can be “overland” if done the right way
Jarrod. Would you pay out the money and buy this system for yourself or build your own system for less money with a little sweat equity.
For a kit it all depends. I’ve seen some really nice kits on the market and if I didn’t have the time or want to invest so much time into a build then yes a kit makes sense. If building something like this yourself you’d probably spend about 50-60% of the cost of kit builders. But TIME is huge. Not only time building but time to figure or engineer everything. These are small spaces and the smaller you get the harder it is to design. How things open, why a cabinet goes there, how the cabinet attaches to the wall, etc. So I can’t say if it’s worth it or not because I see both sides. Really up to someone’s personal needs. Would I? Because that’s how you asked the question. No probably not because I’ve built vans before, but that said if I had the money and I wanted a quick build then yeah I’d probably buy a few different kits to help my life
@@JarrodTocci Thank you for your honest opinion. This is a nice looking kit from a design perspective compared to some of the others on the market. For the customer that has the money to buy this kit will probably pay to have it installed as well. Anyone with some handyman skills to install this kit and is on a budget will most likely build out their own van conversion. Thank you for sharing the design possibilities out there on the market. They do look very athletically pleasing to the eye.
I got a chance to view a Zenvanz full build a few months ago. The owner said it was less than a year old. The aluminum was oxidized and dirty looking. Two of the overhead doors were broken and there were two cracks through the thin walls. I was NOT impressed. Especially after I learned it was over $200k.
That seems hard to believe.
We've never heard that from any of our clients, and we're in frequent conversation with almost all of them!
All our clients would also know that anything less than perfect we would fix or replace... so interesting there would be someone out there with a problem of any kind who hasn't already called us about it.
On the contrary we just had a build/client from back in 2017 roll through the shop looking for some custom additions to her van and even we were amazed at how good both the aluminum and bamboo still look today.
@@ZENVANZ Believe it. The owner wasn't complaining. I discovered the issues. I was surprised the van was so new.
@@mikemarsden1533 Well we'd certainly love to get eyes on it if so. We 100% stand by our product and quality, so send them our way if you see them again!!
Is it just me or does the host sound like Vince Vaughn?
Very nice van but amazing how they just gloss over how the a/c and heating system works, I guess that is not important - really frustrating!
Mostly because it would take far to long to explain and the video should cover the whole build. I try and ask product names so others can do their own research. We said the name which is Cruise N Comfort and it’s a 12v AC unit that is under mounted mini spit therefore doesn’t take any roof space. I’ve personally done 3 videos about time installing about that product as well. Same with the heating system. These systems are complex and deserved to be explained properly. It’s a disservice to talk 10 minutes on each AC and heating when I need/try to cover the entire van build. The heater is timberline and I believe is made by Elwell. It’s a hydronic heat system which also offers hot water through a heat exchanger. All of this info is better found on the companies websites which again is why I try and same names of companies
Not even a hidden shower?
Depends what the clients want
Oh snap.. awesome van but the chess board is in there the wrong way... needs to be rotated 90 degrees
you show great products , but you always have most of the time the views of the finished build blocked by the people owners, etc. can't you show more of the cabinets beds and the features and not show the preventer so much. you always have awesome builds. keep the great content.
Eat
I get it, you eat in the bed.
Lagoon mount in the front.
It's pretty but no place to sit, hang out or ear!
That is by the owners choice. They do come with hide-away beds and then a din-net in the back, but you lose the garage space. Most off-roadsters want the garage for toys and gear over seats
Front seats both swivel and there's a table mount for them in the front (sandy didn't get shown here)
The rooftop has walkable marine grade solar panels which makes a fantastic spot to hang out and enjoy the sunset from ...
No place to sit other than the front seats
Hope you don't have any friends
Usually these vans are used in the outdoors, plenty of room outside, if the weather's bad, the front seats rotate and the bed becomes a comfortable place for 1 or 2 more people to sit. To have all off-road capability you can't go for a 170wb the 144wb is the best option. Life is full of compromises.
If I get this van I’m not gonna get one to invite all my friends over lmao 🤣
