Nice work, and love how he’s so proud of the work and his employees.
The build is exceptional. Quality and a lot of well thought details.
But no toilet is - no go.
Throw a cassette toilet in the cabinet like Jarrod said.
The level of upfitting in the van industry is blowing the RV industry out of the water.
It’s about time that industry got a shake up. Absurd pricing for substandard work.
The innovation happening in the custom class B world is on a whole different level than the mainstream class B industry, let alone the larger classes. After seeing all the incredible custom builders out there, anyone would be crazy to buy a van from a major brand, like Winnabego. They can't compete on features and definitely not on quality with most custom shops, and they cost just as much if not more. Custom built is the only way to go for a camper van.
@@dlg5485 I agree with this 100%. Definitely go custom. You get exactly what you want, and the quality is not even comparable. You get way more for your money.

Guess what? The RV industry doesn't care because they are printing money. Custom van builders are all competing against each other and there are more van builders going into business daily. Soon we will reach a saturation point and companies like Overland Van Whatever will go get other jobs.
I'm friends with Dustin's wife and had the pleasure of meeting him last week! I am actually working towards living the van life and I'm excited to find a company that will make my build less stressful!

Fair or unfair, I always judge the professionalism of a conversion on the neatness of the electrical cabinet. You can always tell if the builder has a dedicated electrician to run wires and make sense of the spaghetti of connections. This small but important touch speak volumes about the overall build quality. Looks like a CNC router was used to cut out the cabinets, very clean. Genius table top storage solution. Great tour, thanks!
That fire extinguisher is awesome!

The ball bearing things mentioned in the sink cover/cutting board are ball catch latches (or ball detents) for those wondering.

Blah Blah Blah! STOP 🛑
The table storage uses the method I want to make a wall mount for a PC MONITOR for when traveling. Just slide it down into an outer wall from the top, with the screen towards the wall! A bit of adhesive backed foam strips pad it on the 3 sides inside for no rattle or movement or chance of damage!

It has an outside shower. It needs a toilet though.

This dude is good his intention to detail is👌🏻. His electrician did a awesome job with all the lights and his wiring in the back is top notch really professional looking. That Murphy bed was a really nice design love how you still have the open floor plan to get out the back doors when it's up! Lithionics batteries is the way to go if you can afford it, I encourage everyone to check out humble roads CZcams page on his bagabond build I think. Where he goes and visits there head quarters those batteries are amazing! And that guy's attention to detail is like none other that I've seen, OCD to the tenth degree lol. These vans are starting to look more and more like boats on wheels. There's good reason alot of Marine materials are used! Anyway beautiful van! Awesome tour Jarrod keep them coming brother, and I hope the move is going good👍🏻

Definitely a stellar spacious 1st rate floor plan design. I love the extended food prep area. Needs a functional screen closer for the side entry. Really like the potential view from the aptly positioned bench seat & the large accessible multi functional garage. 5 stars!

I like the cushions! The Lagoon storage layout is so functional.
WOW! The only thing I would do differently is in the back I would want a lift down porch on the back inside of the van. So when you open the back you could drop down a porch. It could have legs or a chain to hold it up.
This is so sleek and clean!!!!! Also giving me wicked ideas on how little space I would need for a bed since I would only need like half of that size if even!
@David Powell i saw a great video the other day it was a single bed and next to it was a bathroom it was so much nicer don't need a huge bed

Man this is so cool! This is also built for a customer! :O I love the lighting and the way the cabinets open! If he could include a tv/monitor a security system and a toilet I’m set! Haha I want this plus all the creature comforts lol my kitchen counter doesn’t need to extend that far lol and I like induction cooking personally c: I love the way the little ball bearings are in place to prevent that rattling that’s a must for me. Dang this is nice! Throw in a heated floor and well 👀 I’m ready

Love it! A few changes I would want include an all-electric kitchen. I know a big lithium bank would create space challenges, but I'm confident this man could solve them. OVP, I'm seriously considering you to build a custom for me!
Lots of RVs are going all-electric and they're great. But in an off-road van where you might be miles from anything it's always good to have alternatives. If your electrics blow up and everything is electric you're screwed. With gas you can cook, heat water, even heat the van. If the gas goes you can have a small portable induction ring to cook on. Always good to have alternatives.
this van is so rad. such a killer idea for the shower with the shower curtain and to be able to have that much more space in the van!

This is a nice build, it looks like its great quality.
You mentioned Westfalia and them not having toilets. They are a company on there own since parting with VW, and are making some really nice rides in different sizes. I think you where thinking about the California size, that is made by VW solo these days.

If the potential owner wanted a more dedicated desk/work area, there could be a tilt down desk up flat against the Murphy bed that could swing down during the day and disappear at night.
