My single professionals say attend Alfred Street Baptist Church Services. Most don’t live in Alexandria.

Would you recommend NC or VA to retire in?
It depends on your pocket book and what type of lifestyle you are looking for. No Va is more expensive than the rest of VA and more inline with NC. NC is growing in the Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro areas. All areas are affordable and great for retirement! Personally we prefer NoVa for the diversity and energy of DC . Thanks for watching!

Too bad we can't get rid of COVID-19. My wife and I would like to come down and connect with you guys as we are considering Nothern VA or Maryland to relocate to this summer. We were thinking about North Carolina, but after watching your video on NC and how boring it is, we really don't want too. But, the home prices in NC are more desirable compared to the DMV as the avg home prices in DMV are over $525K, which is insane.
It will be gone soon! Another year probably. We were just discussing our entertainment schedule next year and thinking we wouldn’t begin until Fall. NC is definitely more affordable. It depends on what you want. You could go small and stay in close in NoVa, it keeps you close enough to the city for diverse energy or you could go NC. We are glad we left NC after spending 10 years there. And we won’t be going back. But everyone is different. Keep in touch and keep watching so we can discuss further.
