Great video and loved the moment of silence because one of the greatest classic rock songs was playing and you didn't turn it off because nobody in their right mind turns down "Turn up the radio"....lol
Old skool trucker trick .... On your fuel filter where it's draining and splashing all over , take a piece of string or small rope put a simple knot in it snug it up around the bottom of your fuel filter or where it's draining and itll follow it down in a nice stream no splishing no splashing. With your oil drain plug put some vice grips around it nice and easy or a cool rag. Keep on keeping on Mr trucker man! And make sure your seats always slammed C'mah!
looking good mann 😎 The only thing I do on my water separator filter , The one you was draining the diesel out of , What I do I rub a little bit of grease around the oil ring , Why do I do that 🤔 because I learned no matter how tight you put it they will suck air and that is something that you do not want it to do , actually any where / where it is pulling diesel , Just a trick some old boy taught me Be safe take care of yourself
I love this build. Very clean and well put together. I really like how the def tank is hidden behind the lower cowl panel. Very nice. Of course personal preference, I run wix filters. But I don't have a davco. I've got a FASS system. Nice work, though. Enjoy watching your vids. See you on the flipside 😎✌
There’s an easier way to clean the fuel filter while you’re blowing the air inside it put a rag over the tops so this way none of that diesel fuel blows all over your engine I love the way people do things it’s a learning process you’re pretty good and you don’t have to change the gaskets every time I change mine every other time this way here you can keep it in your truck just in case you never know good luck with that truck looks great
Next time you drain your fuel take the top off and used a fuel filter lock to loosen up the black ring and when you change your oil drain the oil pan and drain the oil filter at the same time
So did your truck come with factory front end air ride and you replaced it? Does it ride any better than factory one just wondering cause I would like mine to go all the way down like yours
If your gonna take the time to comment on the debris in the separator and not change the o ring on the bottom of the bowl it tells me you have no idea how the Davco filter works. The top nut won’t have fuel up to it unless the filter is dirty. Use the top nut to add fuel to it and add fuel to the secondary filter that way there is less chance of air lock. Use the pump to complete your fill of filters then start the truck.
That spin on fuel filter is in a bad spot alot of stuff in the way I just make them hand tight makes it a little easier to change out they make a special wrench for your fuel water separator goes around the color just saying
You have a new truck, why are you performing maintenance on it. I thought the dealer did the maintenance. Unless that is an option. Well the void the warranty.
The best part of finding new channels is i get a massive backlog of content to watch
Yesss siirrrr

You brought me back to my service days with that oil drain plug no matter how hard I tried to stay clean it never happend lol I love it tho

Thanks for the great video,,Frank
Awesome video 👍👍
Only thing I would say is move that oil pan when fumbling with the bolt. Saves going fishing for it! Todd the retired trucker.
Good job! A lot of people strip those man
Nice spot for the DEF tank. Finally I saw where it is located. Good idea!
How many gallons is that DEF tank? Smaller than usual?
Next time you drain your fuel take the top off and used a fuel filter lock to loosen up the black ring and when you change your oil drain the oil pan and drain the oil filter at the same time
Use carb cleaner spray to clean out the gunk from your fuel filter
Awesome
U need to get a quick drain plug for the oil pan makes changing oil easy without burning urself from the oil
Can you do another video when you do grease the truck?
So did your truck come with factory front end air ride and you replaced it? Does it ride any better than factory one just wondering cause I would like mine to go all the way down like yours
Can you do a grease video thx homie like your rig also they charge you to use the shop
do you have a plan on straight piping it? or some thing
Nice
How many miles? When do you do the air filters?
Hmmm. When I bought My KW T660 from a dealership I got 2 free of charge PM's on my truck. Of course after that it was me . Nice Pete though.
Wow new truck oil is so thin. I just did my 95 Detroit and it came out like queso.
Also don’t over tighten your fuel filter the top plug anyway

That spin on fuel filter is in a bad spot alot of stuff in the way I just make them hand tight makes it a little easier to change out they make a special wrench for your fuel water separator goes around the color just saying

Every 10,000 miles I do it 10- 15,000
You have a new truck, why are you performing maintenance on it. I thought the dealer did the maintenance. Unless that is an option. Well the void the warranty.
Dealer doesn’t provide any maintenance
Not for free at least
illegal to void warranty based on you doing your own maint.
