did my maiden today and I freaking love it. Flies so well even in windy conditions. Its also very fast and maneuverable. It handles well in slow flight and gliding too.
Just got a original AR wing two weeks ago. Threw a R9 mini and FPV gear in it and flew it. Was my first wing flight and I only had a 4s around it was definitely fast LOS, so I went straight to the goggles. Ordered the mini AR a few days ago. Love quads just wanted something different. I will build one out with inav soon already have a F405 and Gps lying around.

Great review thanks. Got my mini ar wing couple weeks ago and have it all ready to go but am still waiting for the weather to improve. Will be my first time flying a wing, so am taking in all your tips on flying it. Will put it on my youtube channel when I get to fly it if it doesn't snow. lol Happy Flying

Can we fly wings in the rain here? I'm assuming theyre much easier to waterproof compared to a quad. Got my R9M in...with a R9 MM and Slim+.....and the Crossfire. The Zohd Orbits are on back order again! Every time you mention those things they sell out!

18:20 - motor: 1806-2400KV (longer battery life/flight time 10min?)
23:00 - camera: don't put GoPro (too heavy) : std fpv camera (magnets for cover) OR
plug and play set up (23:45)
24:00 - front end for all-in-one camera (AIO) top antenna hole (dipole? becasue cloverleaf won't fit),
runcam micro is too tall for this front end, you can sandwich in a AIO with dipole through the hole. (not best quality). (runcam is better picture , but setup requires to put antenna outside)
30:10 - expo 25% , throw very few mm

Two blade for efficiency. 3 for more push on the throttle
That’s a sweet wing. I like to build wings out of foam board, but because I live in Farmington, I can’t find any spots to fly without trees, which is why I would love to win one of the drones you are giving away this month, especially the ih3

so in 2020, performance wise and ease of flying, how would these wings compare to a Protocol Vert 1 and or a XK X520 or even a X420? These come ready to fly with an X8 transmitter

Just switch two cables - doesn't mather which ones - with each other and you'll be fine

Probably. Its more stable and way slower. A real Fpv cruiser the orbit.
This wing is more about speed.
How far do they go
Please can you measure the distance between the 2 CG points on the underside of the wings please? I'm waiting for my AR Mini wing to arrive from banggood and in the meantime I want to design and print a CG balance stand for it. Many thanks.

Reynolds number. The bigger it is the better an airplane flies. And it depends on wing chord and speed - larger wings have both bigger so they fly faster. The way to counter this is a really light setup for a small wing
