- Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers 'All By Myself' with Walter Lure on vocals. Hear Iggy Pop & Bob Dylan talk about Johnny, the Heartbreakers and 'L.A.M.F.':- • Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, C... This song is from 'LAMF'; Walter duelling guitar with Johnny Thunders. Filmed live at the Heartbreakers reunion, London Lyceum, March 1984. Walter Lure (guitar & vocals), Jerry Nolan (drums), Billy Rath (bass) and Johnny Thunders (guitar & vocals). A new edit as an extra on the 'Looking For Johnny' documentary by Danny Garcia - now available on DVD and on Amazon Prime.
This track wasn't featured on the original Lyceum VHS/DVD 'Dead or Alive' due to a technical problem syncing the then-new Betacam SP format - only later when the tapes were digitised was a good edit possible. All By Myself lyrics are below.
* * * For 44 years, the Heartbreakers 'L.A.M.F' has only been available as outtakes and remixes, or in the 'mud' of the original release. Now following the discovery of the the producers masters, it can be heard with clarity for the first time.
The Heartbreakers 'L.A.M.F. - the FOUND Masters' is released as a 2CD edition hardback book on Nov. 5th 2021. More details at:-

All By Myself lyrics:
I don’t want to talk too much
I just want to get to you
I don’t want to see you there
I just want to get you there
All by myself, all by myself
All by myself, not everybody else
I don’t need no wedding hall
I just want your Rollerball
Forget your friends and what they do
Got to get inside of you
All by myself, all by myself
All by myself, not everybody else
I don’t need society
To open up my fly for me
I don’t need no audience
To shoot you with my cumming sense
All by myself, all by myself
All by myself, not everybody else
I don’t think you understand
What’s that dripping in your hand?
All the things you thought you’d do
You finally met your Waterloo
All by myself, all by myself
All by myself, not everybody else
All by myself, all by myself
All by myself, not everybody else

All gone......Heartbroken.
Heroin & Wall street not good for your health
Walter was a great performer
Great version with Nolan in the back. Kick ass performance, right in your face
RIP WL. ⚘
walter is awesome, such a cool chap
On stage Walter lure is BOSS
Just read the Walter and Jerry books and I’m on a Heartbreakers binge!
I looooooove Walter Lure !
Fantastic attitude.... Johnny had it in spades.... makes me smile ear to ear.....they sound really tight
This is beyond cool !!!
That's Johnny!
and Walter, Billy & Jerry not far behind.
I love both Walter and John
Saw these boys in the 70's and met Jerry a couple of times. Great times. Loved them then and now, but too much junkie business gets you in the end. RIP Walter.
I love when Johnny combs his hair always loved the greaser thing
They good have been huge !!!!!.....
Oh,Johnny.
永遠にロックンロールのヒーロー🎉
Damn, cant believe how tight these guys are at this show.
this guy is a fukn excellent guitarist he has great stage presence too
This was one of their real good shows where nobody's brio fucked up and everything was tight despite not playing together regularly for over 5 years.
Actually this was one of their worst shows. Most of the guitarplaying and also Johnny's vocals are added/overdubbed in the studio. If you watch the whole show you can hear Johnny singing when he isn't even close to a microphone. Same for a lot of the guitarplaying. And sober? Johnny had 8 double vodkas just before the show. And if you think I don't like Johnny Thunders. Well I love Johnny and his music, I got all his official releases and also hundreds of bootlegs lps/cd's and video's and dvd's. And other hardcore JT fans will also confirm that this isn't exactly a good show. It's more a studioalbum then a real live show.
@@richardleeuwenburg9093You were there?maybe it was overdubbed idw but You counted the drinks he had or had a mole in the dressing room? As far as one of the worst? idk there was some pretty bad ones.
the best!!!
How tight is this? man
Johnny still rocks
Pure Punkfection
They were ON here! thank you!
Awesome I loco these guys
Omg, Johnny's backing vocals...
I know it's so cute
Was he trying to be funny? It's like singing from a comedy.
@@burningdaylights nah
Them at their tightest?
MAN it's good.
They came back together for a week, after years apart. Not sure if they even rehearsed - generally they were always tight, unless 'relaxed'; so I suspect they had been even tighter before!
Amazeballs
🎸🎼☄️💉 the best years,,,,,,,,
Lucky audience!!!
Fucking Johnny rockin it out
as always,good singer,talented!started something....,dead,boom
Saw him 1984 in London!,well smack was common,Jonny lost
The lad is still lucid
Wel I can't add everything other than brilliance
😍
Lesson for everyone: when you’ve got stuff for 2:40 (music and lyrics), don’t stretch if for 5:30!
I was at this gig, pressed up against the stage a little right of center. Best ever version of “So Alone” comes from this show. If you haven’t seen it, track it down for sure.
Edit: tracked it down. “So Alone” starts at 27:00

Nos veremos jonny en la eternidad no te olvides buscarme maestro
heroin love.......
I really don’t understand all the comments here about heroin. Take the “in” off and you have what Johnny was to every alt rocker who came afterwards.
So was everybody in this band using? I know that Thunders and Nolan were. I just discoverd these guys recently. Guess I was living under a rock. Hell of a following.
AFAIK, Lure was not a full-on junkie of Thunders' stature. Some of his songs are mocking H addiction to a certain extent (One Track Mind, Too Much Junkie Business), but he certainly "used". Remember, Waldo worked/works on Wall Street, so he couldn't be a full-time wastoid. Nolan, yes, not sure about Rath.
Robert Vogt i’m pretty sure they all where doing dope but rath initially was a speed head
It's not all about the drugs!
@@junglerecords Depending, one whatever the drugs were available at the time, you would get a bett
@@robertvogt2627 Walter was a full on addict
You can see where Steve Jones got his style from
Exactly! and many others too.
Clearly.
Ya think
Not even in the same league as thunders, this guy was the real deal,Jones was just a scallywag/ panhead dressed by McLaren, still is a panhead.l saw thunders twice back in the day ,nobody even came close to how cool this guy was/looked, nobody certainly not someone like Jones.
And you can see where Johnny got his style from
Chuck Berry 🤘
Johnny trochę cie lubię a trochę nje
Can a guy fit in a scooby snack by hiself?👉👀🌵
Jerry "Needle" Nolan the best drummer ever✌👍
She didnt even have a face,so i left her without a trace...all by myself.
WTF
Don’t do drugs kids
copyin heartbreakers old 90s
Disagree, drugs=good music. Name one great artist that didn’t use drugs.
@@Riffmaster227Lots of those great artists didn’t make it to 40.
