My wife and I were driving on Green Valley Road in Auburn and got nailed by a downpour. It was the hardest rain/hailstorm I have experienced in 30+ years of living in the PNW. There was lightning strikes on the Enumclaw Plateau just East of Flaming Geyser State Park.
We had 1.56" of rain last night and possibly the hardest rain shower I have ever heard, I thought our hill might slide out it has me tripping. Sounded like a literal freight train. It was the kind of crazy rain you see in florida

We had several nicely spaced brief showers at Emerald Downs yesterday afternoon. The flora and fauna of the region are thankful for the nice drink of water!
We had a funnel cloud here in the Fraser valley yesterday. I don't think it touched down, but it was a sight to see! Also thunderstorms and hail throughout the day. Thanks for the update Michael!

I came home from Yakima yesterday over Chinook and it was snowing, there was a couple of inches up there.
Woooooo! Longview, Washington... my Tempest Weather Station recorded 41 lightning strikes this afternoon!! ~14-24 miles away. So cool. 😎

Snow on Mt Hood yesterday. It's nearly, officially, summer. I'm sure the hot weather will hit
in Aug-Sep. But it sure has felt 'La Nina-ie' this spring.
