Hi big bruv, always available and happy to narrate a 2024 version of the history if required. The heritage yard is looking very good, ignore the digestive 😊

My little bruv, how you doing fella? Making a 2024 version would be brilliant, let’s get our heads together and do one - that would be great! 👍🏻👍🏻. Don’t worry about the chocolate digestive thing, it’s already ignored my friend! 😂😂. Cheers. …………Graham

@@GrahamFoulston I am doing just fine, health is pretty good and I am enjoying myself. Yes, we can get our heads together and update the story to match Lakeside version 2. You think about what is needed and I will write the script and narrate it. Something to look forward to.

We are fans of history. Love the background story of Lakeside. Heritage yard looks great. Soon you will be selling tickets for the Heritage train trips. We better get ours soon. I guess that the Bleeching cuts didn't come to the Lakeside area. Bill and Janet from California

Hi Graham, The heritage yard is looking good, and my grandson has really enjoyed listening to the back storyline of Lakeside. Speaking of my grandson, have you seen his latest video, it's took him over an hour to film about 25 seconds of stop-motion animation for it. I've decided to chance my arm and leave the comments on this one. He's got so much going on it took me several views to spot everything. It's an enjoyable video from you again... Cheers James 🙂👍

I will most likely be going to Trains4U tomorrow (Tuesday) for some other scenic stuff and if it looks ok then I will most likely get some from there - if they have it in stock. 👍🏻. Good evening Graham nice trip down memory lane i enjoyed the old back story haven't things changed but the land and manor house still belong to the same family as you have always stated in your videos. The heitage yard is getting there to. Stay safe my friend oh keep your eye out towards the end of the week or the start of next. Stephen

I love the narration. I had a chance to do a historical workup on one of the properties at my old job. I worked at the biggest land trust in Massachusetts. We started our clock in 1640 and brought it into the 21st century. I remember the old Lakesied. You were almost finished and came to the conclusion that it didn't work, hence the new Lakeside. I love your content. I think I've been around almost from the beginning. Looking forward to the next 10 years.

Uhm.... Wow!!! I think I subscribed in 2018, and had not seen this, much to my shame I now see. This was brilliant!!! The new work was great to see, but the epic story was the coolest thing I have heard in relation to a layout. Many of us have a story to our layouts... I slowly want to capture the city in Germany in which my world was changed, but this is a level of literature and modeling at the highest level. Stunning. What a real blessing.

A good video here Graham, don’t think I have ever seen someone else do a history of their layout, that’s quite good and would really let people imagination run wild if more people did it, I don’t have a history for a layout as of yet as I haven’t built a layout yet but one major development for me is I have finally plunged into the world of DCC, more excellent work on the heritage yard and as I always say keep up the great work.

Hi Graham, I recently came across your channel.
I'm liking the manhole covers, I personally have several of them, as to hide sections I might need to lift up, modify, maintenance etc, As working on small sections independently on a workbench is much easier to accomplish finer details such ballasting and painting various.

Hi John and many thanks for the kind comment. The black manhole cover does look better than the brown I originally had it in but it’s staying no matter what folk say, I’m happy with it so that’s all what matters. 👍🏻. Cheers. ………. Graham

Had a little smirk at the digestive comment - it looks fine Graham - the yard is starting to look really impressive - and a very wise decision to delay the paper laying until the ballast is done. A an extra detail - how about a tea / coffee stall in the yard for the volunteers and visitors?
