Shabani's son Kiyomasa (11 years old) is spending more and more time alone.
But He and his father, Shabani, have a good relationship.
On this day, Shabani went to call for Kiyomasa, who was outside alone in the rain until before lunch.
Shabani is a very kind father who is always looking out for his son.

Shabani is the best silverback of all! He does funny things and he's cultivated a friendly and cohesive troop, whereas often in troops the silverback is volatile...but Shabani is actually affectionate, which is kind of amazing!
I wish Shabani vocalized a lot more, I absolutely adore his voice.
Kiyo seems to be doing what Gentaro is doing lately. I wonder if there is any kind of plan with what will happen to Kiyo and Annie and where they will be located. Thank you for the video!❤
i noticed the same thing too about gentaro. it seems to me that he (gentaro) is at a point where he would have moved along from the troop by now

I love gorillas so much. I pray for them all the time to protect them from evil poachers who sell their hands as souvenirs and for medications what are a scam and don’t work.

Why don’t they move Kiysomasa to another zoo. I’ve noticed the zoo’s let their 11 yr. old gorillas stay with the family instead of moving them. Is there no other places for them to go???😊

I wish their structure looked more enticing with more things for them to do. Maybe because this video didnt show the outdoor area it was deceptive. But the St. Louis Zoo has excellent enclosures for their guests at the zoo. In comparison i waa a bit sad for these magilla gorillas 😊
I thought so too. The enclosure is not even stimulating,I'm sorry,,,there's not even a real looking tree or plants,I don't even hear a bird or any nature sound to stimulate them.they look pretty bored.Bummer🎉they should have music a little bit,soothing though.🥴🤔

So when they tapped on that structure and it opened into a tunnel why were they going in there and where were they going I was wondering how when they keep that structure clean from poop and pee and crap I'm wondering if that is when they do it when that tunnel opens then they suppose the place down hopefully disinfect I can't even comprehend the smell in there I'm sure they have to wear some type of mask that blocks that out when staff goes in there anybody know what I'm asking about if it's accurate or not
Beautiful but look so sad, its a shame that their real environment is too dangerous for them to live there, some humans need to learn compassion, nuturing and caring and leave all animals to live in safety without harm, every life is precious
