Glad to see someone else like me. For years I was told I was a nut.....over a decade now been told that. I have several building on my property and a cabin I built for my marine son. Long story there......... but I have supplies in every location as well as guns and ammo. Multiple redundancies. Multiple locations. 8 dogs🤷♂️. Rain water collection and storage for emergency. Fire wood for several yrs. Good luck to you. Good luck to all of us that prep
What are you expecting though 😂 no need for it lol waste of time and money
Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it, keep prepping don’t let this dork sway you
We have done same . Myself and my husband retired military and my oldest son serving overseas now.
As your watching preparedness videos lol!@Fadedmountain05
@@Fadedmountain05what an ass hat.
One fire extinguisher is not enough. Consider a more comprehensive fire safety plan. Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors can save lives. Consider mounting one or more flashlights, emergency lighting. Love your pantry. Where’s the candy? Where’s the water? First aid kit? Thank you for your video. Love the paper plates. Paper cups? Have a wonderful 2024!
I’m Brazilian and here when I talk about preparation they look at me as if I was crazy. Unfortunately I have no support from the people I love.
Congratulations on the teachings! I’m a beginner and I’m loving everything.
Prepper from Peru, Your videos are amazing!!!!
🇸🇪✌️🇺🇸 Prepper from Sweden, great channel you have

This is one hell of a life insurance policy. I can’t wait to get on this level 🤘🏻 looks awesome

Thats great to hear! thank you so much for the compliment, and thank you for watching!
Thanks for the tour, I recognize so much in terms of gear and thought process! Birds of a feather...
Man that pantry is so neat and organized awesome everything is built nice love the gun cabinet nothing wrong with anything
Very good video. Thank you. Stay safe and be blessed.
I'm from Poland, there's been a lot of talk about a potential war lately. I draw a lot of inspiration and motivation from people who can prepare for various threats. I wish everyone health and peace. I hope that we never had to use weapons to defend our families.
Fantastic set up!!!!! Lots of work and time I bet!!God bless you guys
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that compliment, and support. god bless you too!
Awesome set up! Thanks for the inspiration
Glad that you are on the mend. Keep on keeping on🙏🏼
Good prepper pantry, well organised 👍

Bro, I'm From Brazil and i love your storage!! god bless you!!
Thank you! You gave given me some ideas in how to better arranged my own things
you're welcome, Thanks for watching!
The European Mind cannot comprehend this level of drip. Nice loadout.
Well some of us can. But we are few for sure.
This isn't what drip means.
Great walkthrough, Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Very nice set up. Congratulations.👍🏻
Nice pantry. For those interested, you can take milk crates and set on your storage shelves with the crate opening towards you and store your can goods in the crates. will generally hold about 32 cans per crate. Use a sharpie marker and date the lids on the cans and store laying down so you can see and access what you are using. If you find an item to stock up that is on sale and would like to add back to your supplies, simply stack it on top of your current supply in the crate, pull your crate off the shelf and flip it upside down and put back on shelf and then your older supply is still readily available on top(which is my favorite). In the event you need to relocate, simply pull the crates and contents, move them and stack them for transportation and everybody(cans) stays in their place. Sorry for the longwinded suggestion, but felt worth sharing on multiple levels of problem solving from daily use to that extreme situation that hopefully never needs to happen.
Cheers:
I admire you 😮looks soo nice
Just came across your video. I love the organization! That’s something I need to work on. Lol. And I liked the video at the very beginning because of the music! 👍
😮
Wow, that is my dream my dad put that idea in my head since I was a kid. Working on in
Great video, thank you for the ideas, I’m starting my prepping journey and this was very helpful.
Awesome! So glad to hear that! Thank you for watching!
Wow, nice set up! I wish I was that organized!
Thank you for the compliment, and thanks for watching!
I did some similar shelves in my basement. I added a thin 18 inch sheet of laminate under the shelf, I use that space for plastic bags, sponges, aluminum foil rolls, magazines, 1st aid supplies. just something to think about to utilize the maximum space.
Great idea thank you!
Beautiful!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Nice prepping buddy good job 👏
TIP glad your feeling better, And I really like your Pantry very nice set up.
Thank you for your support and thank you for watching!
Excellent idea 💡 about the medical books 📚 👌 😊
thank you,,this is the very basic i need to start
Awesome 208 ❤
This looks amazing. It takes time to acquire all the supplies but do a little at a time and it accumulates. The 5 gallon pails are excellent but too heavy for some older folk. We use the square pails of cat litter and fill them with mylar and vacuum sealed bags of long term food supplies. They also serve as good 'grab and go' buckets. God bless.
Thank you so much for watching. That's a great tip. God bless.
I know I’m late to the comments on this video, but I wanted to tell you how I store pasta.
If the pasta is in a bag, I snip off a corner of the bag and put bag and all into a food saver bag and vacuum seal it. If it’s in a box, i empty the box into a vacuum seal bag and seal that. Obviously this won’t work for lasagna or manicotti noodles, but most of the small pasta works beautifully. You would be amazed at how many packages of vacuum sealed spaghetti you can pack vertically into a 5gallon bucket!
Thanks for a great video. Carry On Sir!
Thank you very much, and thanks for watching!
Very nice pantry! Love the organization!
Thanks so much! 😊 and Thank you for watching!
Great video - prepper pantry goals! We used to have loads of mice in an office block I worked in - pest control told us mice can eat through plastic tubs 😩and to opt for metal ones where possible.
I just started recently prepping for disaster and war or anything in general to be honest. I’ve started with things like water, self-defense, and food. Right now I’m building a shed that’s gonna have shelves in it that can hold 150 boxes. I’ve really been enjoying it to be honest too. It’s fun and I love building my equipment collection especially when there’s a reason for it and I feel safer at night.
Fantastic set up! I like how you didn't just focus on food. Really nice tactical preps. Plenty of food, medical, communications etc. I also like the silver idea and the chickens. Are you able to hunt and fish near your house? You might want to load up on more water and TP. I'm going to do rain catchment in the Spring and get a Lifesaver brand Jerrycan. Be safe.
Nice setup.
Hey Idaho, I'm in Spokane! Good work man. I just wanted to give a mouse tip for a nontoxic solution. Jiffy mix cornbread and baking soda mix in dry form in a little bowl works! My chickens love fresh mouse meat lol especially when we find the best of babies. Some may think it's cruel and I'm sorry but it works! Lol
Make sure you reload , save your brass. Salvage what you can from the range, it can be traded or sold. I visit Idaho for the Post Falls Spring show. Staple some velcro to the 2x4 then put some on your hydrometer/thermometer !
Good job!!
Way to go, nice setup
nice pantry!! we all need to be prepared......
Hi, I’m trying to make some checklists, protocols for certain scenarios, family plan too. Would be great to see your take on this
this is my dream ever😊
If your tourniquets are in that clear bin, no bueno, unless they are spares. You should have one easily accessible out of that bin. Try mounting at least one on one of those support wood posts, kind of the way you have your fire extinguisher mounted. That way if one of you gets cut or shot in one of those main arteries, it can be easily visible to whoever is needing to get it. Seconds can count.
Keep up the good work bud
An idea to mount the rifles.. a big version of a hasp and staple.. mount the hinge in the back, and the lock part up front, using the 2x4 shelves as a mount to bolt to. Turn the rifle sideways, and u could still use that fork mount for the barrel.. Put some padding around the bar, to prevent scratching. And get a fingerprint lock, so for fast grabbing, u wouldn't need to hassle for a key. And u wouldn't be able to slide the rifle up or down to remove, due to shelf and ceiling. U would have tear all that stuff out to get the rifles out.
great stuff man !
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Love your storage room. I just recently got two battery daddies and I love them. I’m giving 6 of them away from Christmas. Love those buddy heaters also. Greetings from neighboring Utah.
Thank you, and thank you for watching!
I'm a helo pilot,, so I love the checklist idea,,, good wife !!
Ye ole pantry lookin good 👍🏼
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
Great video! Coffee, drink it black and never look back.😊
Extra cream and extra sugar
great video!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Awesome man
Thanks brother!
Great video, man. I'm working on making a get home bag and a bugout bag. Wish me luck things are super expensive!
Thanks buddy! That’s awesome that you’re putting together a get home bag.. you’ll have a lot of fun doing it, if you were close by, I could probably supply you with half your bag with extra stuff I have laying around.. anyways take care!
@idahoprepper MAN, that would have been super helpful!!
Super cool im so jaleous!
Good to see you
Good to be seen! Thank you for watching!
Great to see you back online! Thank you for the video! I would screw a washer disc at the shelf, and this should hold the hygrometer since it seems to have a magnet at the back. All the best! Kind regards from Germany Tobias
Thank you very much! Glad to be seen.. 😅
for Mice.. don't throw away your pepermint teabags.. place them inside the plastic cases.. mice/ants/mosquitos/fleas.. don't like peppermint or lemongrass... you can also grow lemongrass in a small pot and place it in the windows in the kitchen area.. gets sunlight and grows.. you can cut it short like a Japanese Bonsai tree and use the cutout grass as green tea.. (lots of benefits for drinking 2 cups of lemongrass (lunch and dinner) per person per day.
Also consider diamond sheeting the inside of the cabinet. If someone takes an axe to the outside of the cabinet, they will have even more materials to get through than they thought.
Nice!
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Very nice
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
Respect from Japan.
Thank you!!
I know what u can do to secure the guncabinet, go buy a 50 gallon barrell of clear surboard resin and catalyst...Shut the cabinet and lock it. Remove the top of cabinet, and pour in all 50 gallons of resin, add catalyst accordingly .replace top... Leave for 3 days. Pry door open and there you go! All weapons are safely secured in a giant block of resin! Your welcome
Dude ready to deal with ton of zombies😂
Yep!
I just subscribed, fantastic content. I'm in the UK and started preparing a couple of years ago.
A quick word on what i call "reaction comments" which are those comments one(and i've made my fair share) makes immediately, often ego driven & usually without much thought.
A perfect example would be the comments regarding safety/security issues i.e how one could make entry with a screwdriver, etc relating to this gentleman's minuteman gun cabinet...a moments reflection of just how extremely well prepared this guy is across the board, the content on his channel, his demeanor & the general impression one gets from him are all strong indicators the guy knows what the #*¥# he is doing & would not build a "wooden safe" but would in fact build what was needed to suit his purposes.
Cheers
Jon
That’s awesome! Welcome aboard, glad to hear you’ve begun preparing. Very smart decision!! Thanks for watching!
Just did same and had laugh at him having to explain that for whatever person made dumb comments he and all of who do this, they are prepared for that too.
Empty mason jars hold water really well then they add to water reserve
good tips! Thank you for watching!
We will need a lot more people like the Idaho prepper!! Too bad people are still sleeping and delusional!!
Truer words have never been spoken! LOL... Thanks for watching!
caught a glimpse of the amrron patch WOOHOOOO!!!!!!
Thank you!!
Great! so many don't show a real over view!
No meu pais eu nunca vi uma caixa de armazenamento de pilhas igual ao seu . parabéns
dont run the cable through the trigger guard, someone could still rob you for your uppers and walk awy with the most expensive componenets lol
but I love your setup, looking to do something similar in my basement and this is full of great ideas. Thanks!
Your children are lucky to have u
Thank you for the kind compliment, and thank you for watching!
You should consider adding 1-2 iodine tablets to your wallet in case you are not home in a nuclear emergency Time is the primary survival factor (Time, Distance and Shielding).
Great video! If it's a standard trigger guard on an AR, cable might not work since they open for winter gloves.
Thank you very much! No they’re not the standard trigger guards, they’re solid.. but that would be a concern for running it through that area..
thanks for watching!
Your fortunate enough to have lots of money to buy such..
The good thing about living and preparing in the USA is that you can have guns for protection. Here in Bra zil right now is almost impossible to get a legal gun, due to this com munist gover nment that is gover nin the coun try. It is a pitty. Be safe!
What books you guys recommend related to prepping?
Dude great setup I said it before when I saw your first video on this well it may have been your first video but the first video about your pantry I saw I absolutely love cuz I'm an issue where I have to do something where I build a separate room so that I can fix my pantry cuz it's just a disaster right now and I use the same system I don't use like the big 5 gallon bags to store things like rice flour oatmeal beans I use smaller I think I use two quart Yeah I think I use the two quart bags so pretty much it's you know when you buy like you know a 5 lb bag of rice it all fits in like one bag because I don't want to be lugging around a whole 5 gallons of rice either So but I was thinking about putting them in square crates bins not crates but bins instead of the buckets and using the buckets more for other stuff I don't know cuz I have a ton of buckets which I mainly plan on using to grow food but I love your setup I'm probably going to use some of your ideas when I actually build mine and implement it Great job another great video Oh yeah and I had that same flu a couple weeks ago horrible horrible
Thank you so much for your compliment, that’s great to hear I’m glad you got so much from these videos. Thanks again!
Check out the milk crate suggestion I put in the comments section. Works wonders, wouldn't do it any other way.
So it makes a good short term pantry but if you want it for long tern I suggest Freeze Dried Food in Number 10 cans like Augustin Farms. A lot of what I'm seeing here won't last for than 12 months expiration date. 20 to 25 year food is what I would go for. Mice and rats cat touch it because there in a tin can. You should strengthen your shelving by cutting 2x4's two fit against the outer 2x4 that's acting as a leg by placing the 2x4 pieces between the selves directly under each self screwed against the outer 2x4 leg it will strengthen the support beam and you will need to do the same along the back corners if you plan to use those top shelves for all those buckets which has to be pretty heavy and should be on floor level lighter stuff should be stored on the shelves.
All the food behind the cases of food is number 10 cans.. guess you missed that part.. thanks for watching!
I think you don't need a blender for laundry soap.
I just use oxygen powder and zote soap. I use a cheese grater to crumble the zote soap. It's easy, and basically no preparation beforehand. It just takes like 30 seconds or less to grind up a bit of soap. probably less than 10 seconds, even. It's not even a chore at all.
On the hinges use mushroom head bolts
Queria puder morar num país de 1” mundo para ter condições de me preparar assim! Aqui no Brasil é muito difícil, vamos fazendo o que dá! Parabéns
Bro when i worked as a potato man on a ship, i got s pro staff golf ball in a box of Idaho potatoes
Dude, you had COVID-19 for sure. Glad you're doing well!
So Happy to see the Cross on the wall.Jesus will save us.
I'll share if the neighbors share!
What do peppers do when their cans expire? Generally they last around two years so besides eating expired cans how do you maintain good rotation. Seems like a lot of cans to consume in a two year period given that is the general shelf life.
They last much longer than 2 years.. 2 years is just the sell by date, but you just have to make sure you buy canned food you like to eat, and eat it as periodically as possible.. thanks for watching!
Greetings from The Netherlands (Europe)
Greetings! Thank you for watching!
What type bof bullet vest is that
Who made the blugrass type music in your intro? Solid video! Flu has been going around here too.
TQ's need to be in a more readily available location than that box. Obviously for storage it doesnt really matter. However, if anything really does pop off are you going to remember to get the TQ's out of the closet and have them ready to use? maybe. But why risk that
what do you think,, how long could one person survive with food shown in this video? So not counting chickens outside and what ever could be in other parts of house?
8 months
great music
Dude I live in the same state. I wouldn’t want to ruin you opsec but wish I could hang out with you and make a team. Keeper going.
I'm sure he would treat you like Kevin Bacon... lol.
?
"Leave the World Behind" movie reference.
Kevin Bacon was a prepper, and was guarding his property. Wouldn't let even his neighbor friends get too close.
Oh I see well hopefully not since being like minded brings mutual benefits to the table.
Gotta love AMRRON.
Yep! Thanks for watching!
love the setup, but im a big time shooter and i will say get as much mags for all your guns
