Hey everybody, welcome to another vlog from the road!
After a few new goodies added to the car thanks to Ironman 4x4, I thought it was about time I gave you a full rundown/tour of Roxanne! After living out of it for the best part of 18 months, I’m stoked with this setup and it’s become a very comfortable and practical tourer.

Sweet setup. I was going to do that same setup but headed down the Alu-cab camper root instead. I think I will get the same tyres but maybe go steel on the rims. I look forward to checking out some of your other posts.

Hey mate, regarding the roof top tent do you have that connected to the roof racks on the cab aswell or just the Canopy? Just regarding when the cab flexes and the tub flexes the opposite direction. Awesome setup though!
Hey mate, the RTT is only mounted to the cross bars on the canopy and has never rubbed on the cab - there's a decent gap there. Cheers!

sick setup! Do you get any rubbing at all with the 285/70r17s?
Cheers mate! Stoked with it. A little bit of guard trimming was done in the front initially, have zero rubbing since and wouldn't change them 👌🏼
Out of interest any chance you know what offset the vector rims are?
genuine rcd 330 plus is a great upgrade for any vw
I've since gone with an aftermarket unit - that one died!
Hey mate, I’ve got an Amarok and just about to order an RSI canopy and put some drawers and second battery in it. Regarding your drawers, if you had your time over again would you stick with the current drawer setup and Drifta brand, or recommend something different?
Hey mate! Fellow Amarok owner 👌🏼 top choice on canopy! I’d absolutely stick with the Drifta drawers on a new build. I’ve had them in a previous car too, love them. In saying that I haven’t really had much experience with other brands. Good luck with the build!
@@SearchingForFreedom_ Awesome, thanks mate. Yeah a lot of Amarok owners love the RSI and Drifta drawers, they seem to have a bit of a cult following, so will certianly keep them in mind!
@@SearchingForFreedom_ So I ended up ordering the RVSS premium aluminium drawers, full length and width, lightweight and Australia made. Hey I'm still waiting for the RSI canopy, but noticed that it looks like you don't have the little window on your passenger side of the canopy, have you had that side swapped over to a non-window door, or just vinyl wrapped over the glass to keep your fridge out of the sun?
How does the tent go through heavy rain? Ever eoken up damp or wet?
