Collin is a strong dude. 450lbs that fast without belt is not common at all.
A belt doesn’t make you lift any faster. Just helps brace harder
@@johannsebastianbach6282 elaborate?
@@user-ig8vm1ns4t yea but the extra core stability usually allows people to lift a little more weight when compared to their belt less lift
@@user-ig8vm1ns4t dude it makes it faster lol
@@johannsebastianbach6282 he def was doing it 🤣
You can tell Collin is the only one there who didn’t ego-lift in the gym and really got his form down. His strength is through hard work and practice. All the other guys are strong too but they’re definitely neglecting all the finer details that Collin’s been working on and it shows. Respect to everyone here, but Collin’s MVP.
he is also the only one setting the bar down
I think collin is the only one that actually know how to deadlift. The rest r trying to deadlift
@@markpetrak3282 you shouldn't really set the bar down once you reach the heavier weights, could risk injury
@@Taimur.Shairyar in a competition you have to set the bar down
@@markpetrak3282 I see
Jeez Collin is nuts! Made every lift, even 530, looks easy and comfortable. I bet he has 545 in him, maybe 550. I would've tapped at the 450, as i've never pulled that much on a conventional bar. Seeing a dude whose likely sub 200 lbs bodyweight tear 530 off the ground without much effort is just inhuman.
I was thinking the same thing that's crazyyy strong and it looks so effortless for hin
He had 575 in him easy
Wow dang you lift? I can’t even do 100 probably. (I’m 23, yeah yeah I never work out…)
@@Frostorm777lol
@@Frostorm777 legs are much stronger than you think, a big part of the lift is form!
Ben has actually really good strength for his BW. He lifted 350 despite his suboptimal setup and technique. If dude trains properly he can put up some crazy numbers.
That’s impressive Nick. People have no clue how hard a 400 lbs deadlift really is.
Yeah seriously, I just hit 405 after 2 years of pretty serious training
@@raulw858 height and bodyweight?
@@raulw858 yep Def not common especially not at commercial gyms
I’m 155 and I can hit 405 but I don’t really ever train dead lift. I mainly do bodybuilding.
@@Devdidthat lmao “dont ever train deadlift” but deadlift more than 2.5x ur bodyweight. Cap
Collin blowing my mind. His 450lbs lift was impressive.
@@garyabblott5815 Lmao you don't need to be on gear to hit 450 or even 530 at his BW
@@TheMiniWumbo Go look into the percentages of american college students on gear then get back to me. You don't need to be on gear, but his aged face is a give away lmao.
@@garyabblott5815 ?? I'm 19, 180lb and can pull 620+ so no

the whole point is to promote fitness and staying fit, there's no need to put anyone down.
Collin made those lifts look easy🔥
super easy
Too bad his attitude wasn't as impressive. Dude was arrogant, shrugging his shoulders after every lift, and not hyping up his peers.

@@LGBTQHDTV_OLED_plus right, a 30 something year old athlete won against a couple of 18 year old frat kids WOW what a surprise
Ben is underrated, seems like a dude with a few years of training he could become a serious powerlifter. Good strength for his bw.
he has good leverages that's for sure
It's actually insane how strong he is without any experience
Agree!
As a dude that's 5'6" and spends alot of time in the gym, guys like Ben make me really bummed out. They waste their potential and the frame that they're lucky enough to have been given.
@@WotanSkyFather Keep on the grind brotha! Self improvement is all we should aim for.
Collin is a bit of machine and not only that he can dish out a pretty savage burn too.
Shoutout to Ben man he made it further than I would've guessed at first glance.
Sleeper build
Same I thought bro was gonna last second roubd
Holy shit Collin a beast. Didn't expect this at all looking at him...i thought Armond will be the one to lift most looking at him but Collin is beast.
Collin definitely has denser bones.
Nick Symmonds videos: Banger after banger after banger after banger! All this dude does is produce hits and inspire fun with fitness. It literally doesn't get any better than this. Can't wait to see what's next.
Nick you inspire me for fitness in every way possible. I was in a high jump tournament, and on my final run I thought of u and beat my PR. Im 14, and i got second place under 16 yrs. Love ur vids ❤🔥

Couldn't agree more! 💪
Love the support and cheering between everyone, what a great vibe there! Great video.
The energy was so lit in this video💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾!!!!! Almost teared up with how hard everyone worked.
I love this kind of content! Challenging, fun, and surprising!
I've never deadlifted before. Now I'm considering it.
That 530 deadlift was insane! He looked like he had a few more pounds in him, too. Wow! I love how everyone comes together to cheer each other on in these strength videos. ☺
Just wanted to give Collin a HUGE shoutout for being the BEAST that he is at such a young age. Dude has a very bright future ahead of himself. After watching this video I went to the gym and had myself a deadlift session that was very much needed. Much love to Nick & what he continues to do for the community ❤💪
Collin's a beast, bro. You just knew he'd be the last one standing right after the first round.
Dope Content, this was the back day motivation I needed. Channeling my inner Collin
Nick thanks for all that motivation it would be great training with someone like you ❤️
Huge congrats on a million subs bro, no one deserves it more, really entertaining content.
Keep killing it with the content🔥😤
Ben can actually go far with the numbers he hit here! Serious potential hidden in him!
That’s what I’m saying, good on that guy. Collin should train him up
This is an awesome series. The camaraderie makes for great energy. Collin is a strong guy.
Winced at the lifting form at a couple moments of the vid. Can get away with it when you're the age of these guys, but if they don't correct the lifting form, it'll compound and the effects will definitely catch up. Hitting 30 recently, i suddenly felt my age.
Cultivate positive habits young and reinforce them over time.
Thank you for the video Nick. It is always so motivating!
These guys had the best energy yet! Love to see it.
Collin is an absolute Beast. Well done. EXCELLENT lifts...
I absolutely love this series! This was dope!
Love these videos. Inspiring. Always watch every second - great job.
Nick's videos are so fun and addictive - I really love the intensity AND the wholesomeness of it!
love your content! keep up the great job
Collin was a beast!! Well done 👏
the energy and the camaraderie in this video is insane i love it
Nick, these kind of videos are very entertaining. Please keep posting them.
Inspiring! It would be interesting to see you go back in 6 to 12 months to all these fraternities to see how many were inspired to train harder.
1:03 "I saw some weakness there"
8:34 "I'm stronger than he is"
He took it personally lol
he lifts it in 0.1 s "Idk I saw some weakness there"😂😂
I love these videos. They legit get me hyped
I love contents like this soo much. cant stop watching! 😍
Collin is amazingly strong I was so impressed with his dead lifting.
Bens a beast man. I wasn’t expecting him to even hit 200 😭
Love these challenges, been sitting on a few myself. Will get them out soon. Calisthenics edition. That guy was seriously strong. Incredible form and strength
I’m loving the frat boys videos, it’s so much hype
Nick a tip for you; especially in the heavier weights you seem to bend your left arm and flex your bicep quite a lot. That's a great way to tear your bicep. So always when using mixed grip in deadlifts remember to focus on keeping your arms straight.
After this series is over. I wanna see the best dude in every fraternity to represent their group in a deadlifting competition
Watching this while deadlifting and legit just got a PR myself! Thanks for the motivation!
Love this series Nick!
sheeeesh Collin is a beast!!! everything looked so easy and controlled
So this is the frat life. Also like how Nick drops it, but the boys bring it back down.
Love the hype atmosphere. Seriously impressive weight lifting. Good job to all!
I’m just happy for Ben surprising himself & his peers !
So sick of a series!!!!! Love it
This series has been a lot of fun for me :D
Yeah it's actually sick
My favorite video from the frat series!
me too! I just love heavy deadlifts so much
I swear the Frat weight lifting competition are the most lit videos. More of these
Yo the guy in the white t shirt is crazy!!!
The size differences to the other guys wasn’t expecting that
Huge Congrats on the PR Collin! Though I'd wager he definitely has 540+ in him. That 530 was only milliseconds slower than the 500... Just goes to show that aesthetics and size don't always go hand-in-hand with strength (I pinned him as one of the lesser built guys out of the top 3-5).
The content is evolving... Improving! Good work on the subtitles and general presentation.
Love these videos so much. Feel like one of da bois when I watch these competitions 😂
Nick never disappoints💞💞💞
I like to admit when I'm wrong so I want to apologize for doubting Ben, I said to myself "he's getting out in the first round" he made it almost to the end, that's impressive.
This frat boys series was really engaging Nick! :D Keep up the great content and inspiring others to get and stay strong! :D
Just great. Keep em comin!
That was some impressive lifting all around. Anything over three plates is honestly pretty respectable. People don't realize the amount of work it takes the average person to get above that point. You can't knock anyone who puts in the work to get there. The fact that you see this and celebrate guys who step up and achieve is absolutely fantastic. I started lifting because of bullying. I can only imagine how far I could've taken my body if I had that level of positivity around me through my quest for strength. I could have added plates to my lifts.
Ok, that and a dietician would've been nice. I eat like a pig.
Armond has got some monster quads
Nick , I love these type of videos. Awesome❤
That was fun to watch. And, congrats on 1M!
The subtitles this video had me dying!
"General Rambunction"
"That hunk of metal was quite dense"
Great video as always Nick Symmonds team! Keep encouraging others to get fit!
These guys make it look so easy
Best series so far. Do this again please!
I love these frat lifts there always so entertaining
"I'm stronger than he is"
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE
I have loved watching this series! As a female athlete, I would love to see some version of this with sororities or female athletic clubs at universities!
He'll have to bring a female with him, else it'll not be fair.
LoL that’s like asking Lebron to play with middle schoolers.
Great idea... bring a female crossfitter from his gym or something. :)
sorority girls aren’t famous for being gym rats tho. usually j thots who don’t even lift
@@g_i..its asking lebron to play in the wnba which he would drop 100 every game
This college series is the best! Keep doing it
i appreciate the effort Nick, raise a good and sports generation 💪
Collin's deadlift form is fantastic
I'm surprised how high a lot of their deadlifts were compared to the bench press competition the other day. Really good deadlift strength with almost all of them
From my experience deadlift strength peaks before bench does
Fr I feel stronger lol my pr is 250 at 155 bw 23 years old but I’ve seen teenagers at my gym lift way heavier 🥲
Beginners love the deadlift because it’s the the lift that goes up the fastest in the beginning. When it comes to advanced lifters their squats usually catch up and exceed their deadlift. The exception being guys who are just built to deadlift.
@@paulbuschman I'm not sure very rare a squat exceeds a deadlift but it certainly catches up
What an amazingly supportive community 👏
See the boys are doing very well
Thank for such content
This frat was significantly stronger than the other two. Would love to see them try bench and squat. Colin has at least a 400 lb squat
They are all on gear, it's a major problem in America. You can literally go buy prohormones or steroids from your local gnc. Granted it was much worse 10 years ago but it's still bad
@@peterfile5027 now a days that would only be under the counter and illegal? No? I haven’t seen that stuff available in nutrition shops for a long time. But yes, there was a point between 2000-2010ish where local nutrition shops sold gear over the counter. Some weren’t even pro hormones, but rather designer steroids: Superdrol (methasteron) was widely available ~2005.
Collin is the deadlift equivalent to sterling in squats
Facts
I think sterling would have crushed the deadlift as well
@@CoolGuy-rk7tcyea i agree
@@CoolGuy-rk7tc Maybe, but at least in powerlifting. The heavier weight classes generally have a higher percentage squat vs their deadlift. It could be closer than you think.
Great video, I got really hyped
This series was so fun to watch!

Collin came up fast, man strong as hell lol
One of the best videos hands down.
I am sure that I can say we are all love these kind of vids! 💪
Ngl last dude looked like he could do more, crazy strength
Yeah he probably had 545 in him or so, mad strength!
He clearly lied at 425 to get the extra cash. He knew he could do more. It was kinda obvious. He’s strong AF tho that’s for sure.
Congrats on 1Mil the old Bison!
Thank you!!
Let’s go I love this series
Nick is actually a monster. He beats the vast majority of people in so many different exercises even though he's older. Awesome job Nick. I wanna race you really bad. No way you're beating me even in your prime or the best top speed you've ever hit at any age. I was a UO student. I wasn't lucky enough to encounter you when you were racing against the students on campus.
Dude 400lb is hard. My PR is 385lb, I tried 405lb and man I was seeing stars.
3 wheels on both sides is no joke.. anything higher is insane
