Have you read Let the Woods Keep Our Bodies yet? I personally really enjoyed it. I have a newfound love for small-town horror, and it was a perfect depiction of that.
Not yet, but I’m hoping to before year’s end.
Nice to see you opening a Night Worms pack again! I would have loved reading Haunting of Hill House as a contemporary novel in 1959. It is one of my favorite novels, with some of the best opening and closing paragraphs. I read it every year. Looking forward to reading A Haunting on the Hill.
Can’t say I read it every year, but I agree it’s one of my favorites.
Have you read Scary Bastard yet? (I have)
I have. It’ll be in my monthly review video after Halloween, but I liked it.

I gave it 4☆ (spoilers)
It was a fun gorefest, but it never got under my skin. It was interesting that almost all rhe monsters survived. Some stuff like the wooden chopstick pinhead stretched beleavabuility too far for me. And I thought the horror movie girl should have been smarter when she was locked in the school. Overall it was good but not a favorite.
@@zachreads I reckon that’s fair. It didn’t get me like The Slob did, but it was a fun quick read.
