I remember that par 3 on the 2nd hole you guys played. One of my friends hit the ball in the water so we went to go look at it. My other friend saw a golf ball so tried to get it with his putter. The edge though was super steep, and me and him both had to walk the rest of the holes with a wet shoe.
Video idea: each hole you start with 4 spins for a par 4 3 spins for a par 3… etc. You can use those 4/3 clubs in any order, goal is to make par or better. Each time you don’t make the par or better there is some sort of punishment that carry’s over to next hole.
According to USGA, I believe you can play OB with a two stroke penalty, in the edge of the fairway where it crossed OB. So it's the same as if you hit one really far but OB, reteed, and hit the same distance but in the nearest edge of the fairway. So you'd hit 1 out, then play 4 from the edge of the fairway. USGA put this in to speed up play, but you still have the option to retee, hitting 3. So if you like shanked one off the tee OB, the better option is to retee. And if you hit one far that just creeps OB, utilize the new USGA rule and drop in the edge of the fairway hitting 4.
The old school “chipping wedges” like my grandparents used were a relatively flat iron…. My uncle still to this day uses a 7 iron to chip and runs em out.. and he is very good at it

These are fun but I think you should spin in for hte tee shot, approach shot and green and both players use those clubs on that hole. See who can execute the shots with those clubs better. Takes the luck out of it

I'd like to see one where each time they spin, they both have to use that club for wherever their next shot is. Once one person is on the green they just wait and use whatever club is spun once they are both on the green. It would make it still very random, but both would be on an equal footing each hole.
