Loved this video! Inspired me to find a pallet, chop it up and an hour and a half later I had an awesome (and free) bike rack for our bikes in the garage. Thanks for sharing!

Great idea, I wish I had seen that yesterday before building one. I actually have a pallet laying around in the backyard. Also you can probably check for the width of the tire before cutting anything on your pallet.

If the spacing isnt correct, add something like maybe a pool noodle or whatever around the wood pieces. This would make a nice snug fit and also guard against splinters!

I made it today and it turned out great. Free pallet too! From a lumber yard. I was able to get 5 bikes in it by alternating putting in the front wheel first, then back wheel of the next bike, and the front wheel etc.

Maybe as a Birthday or Christmas wish gift, you can request a electric powered circular saw instead of always using your only hand powered wood saw. Request the Binford 450 electronic power circular saw. It will make pallet bicycle stand building projects easier and faster, that using the Fred Flintstone model hand saw you're using in this video.

Steel bike racks to be spread out from A to B, C etc...and to be able to lock up bikes near eatery’s cafe and public amenities to enjoy the scenery of river, sunrise and sunset.

0:27 if I can't find a 'heat treated' pallet, can I heat treat one myself? What temp would you recommend?
    Lol, yes this is sarcasm.

I was very nervous putting my brand new beach cruiser on this rack. czcams.com/users/postUgkxG6JIgwJhur8_Rg8UeQ3EmePzi_wSncL8 But after reading many reviews I decided to get this one and take a chance. When arrived it was very simple to adjust and put together. I also added spike tape over the metal hooks before securing and tightening the straps, and no scratches. I also purchased the top bar made by the same company so that my cruiser sits straight on the rack without having to turn upside down. Extra bungee cords are used to secure the front wheel from flapping and even piece of mind knowing your bike is secure. Definitely recommend...

Why not just use 2 two by fours under the top frame instead of just using a small piece of two by four centered in the middle of the top frame? Easy Peasy is a better way to go, instead of adding metal brackets for stronger support.

Nice idea, but for the love of god, cover those feet when you're working!
