    J sounds so humble and so gracious. It's a tragedy we lost him so young but as @Ken Torres mentioned, he gave us so many gems are that most definitely still relevant... His music will live on ❤️

      after reading the book and scouring these interviews...the man was shy and loved working on music....he worked so hard that his body rejected it...hard work is not the answer to everything... good focused hard work is...in time frames...dont let the establishment work us all back into servitude....and remember ...on the count of three..

    I've been amazed by J Dilla when I first picked up the new Pharcyde back in '95 at Warehouse Records. It's always great to hear something new by him, music or interviews. I hope more youngsters today hear more about him. He was the real deal!

    I remember being 14 struggling to find J Dilla interviews, videos, only thing I could indulge in was the music which was enough for me. But to hear this now.. is such a blessing. Feel that kid in me again, thank you for this gold!

    My big homie gave me a Slum Village album in 2004. Fantastic Vol 2. When I heard Fall In Love. I fell in love forever with anything Dilla.

    This is amazing to hear. I got a little sad when I heard him talk about all the different kinds of artists he wanted to sign. Imagine the kind of label he could have had. The artists he would have been putting on and helping develop. On top of what he was able to do before he passed. I guess the best thing to do is to try to carry on what he set out to do. Push music forward the right way.

    This is incredible. Prior to this I had never heard J Dilla speak/hear his speaking voice. But this is incredible. Mad respects to you Shay for finding this and posting this here to CZcams. II've been aware of J Dilla for the longest, and without a doubt he is one of the greatest hip-hop producers of all time. He truly revolutionized making beats/beat making. His music will continue to live on forever. RIP J Dilla.
