Actually yes he did. He fired her for unjust reasons because he wanted to divorce her. Had he actually said "You're not working well in this place, I want your things out of here by the end of the day, you're fired!", then he wouldn't have been told to give her alimony.

He made her unemployed. By law, he (as the income-earning spouse) must give her a chance to financially move on. That said, if she did damage his shoulder, he could reduce that amount from the alimony.

@@PMMcIntyre that is why he said "I should have waited." Be it male or female, if she had a steady job of good income, he could have argued not to pay support. Then fired her a month later and the courts would be like "well, you got a place to live, had a good job, so you can get another."
I have actually seen this work out the opposite way, where a man got alimony from his ex after cheating on her.

This is a case in point why anyone who suspect cheating should start recording EVERYTHING. If he had concrete proof of her assaulting him, she wouldn't have gotten alimony.

Nah, this stuff is funny, finding holes in creative writing is always fun. Irl, the guy would have probably divorced the wife, sure, but the employee would ask if he's also fired, and boss be like "hell nah, you work too good, and i can't lose a percent of my profitable labor during an expensive divorce". That's if he's a small company he's personally the boss of, if it were a bigger company just apply elsewhere fast and get a reference from HR, they'll never find your specific supervisor via calling the main number and HR will need to conclude the investigation before there's a chance they'll rat on you, they might just say nothing either way because it's better not to risk evidence you said something wrong to the labor board.
But seriously, a boss of a small company, what's the worst that could happen if he keeps the employee, he'll fuck his wife? He's already divorced.

Sometimes I give a pass if the names are really close because often times people change names to protect their privacy, so it’s hard to remember the fake name you used for a person. Especially if you have autocorrect and it’s used to seeing the real name.
Either way, take all these stories with a grain of salt and enjoy the ride.

When I was 18, I re-tore the medial meniscus in my right knee. I’d had surgery the previous summer (between high school and college) to repair it, but then I took volleyball for PE credit, and tore it again. That summer, when I was home from college, I had the same doctor do the same surgery that I’d screwed up. They didn’t give me a plaster cast, but I had ace bandages and padding, basically cocooning my leg from ankle to thigh. That knee wasn’t bending until the doc took the bandages away. And since there were open wounds to the skin (just the little holes the camera on a stick went in), they told me to keep the leg elevated above my heart. They even gave me a big-ass foam ramp, taller at the ankle end, trough running from one end to the other, so nothing was tempted to roll.
But the biggest difference was that I had a girlfriend now. Never really had one of those before. College was in Texas, and she and I were the only ones from California. Which meant, it was only a couple hours drive for her to come up and visit me. I swear to God, I honestly thought my parents didn’t realize we were fooling around. I realize now that everybody knew exactly what we were doing.
My point, however, is simple. Even with your full leg in a cast, not only can you still accomplish everything that needs doing, you won’t even really see it as an obstacle to be overcome. You have to put your leg instead of . You’ll have to get used to a slightly different approach vector. This isn’t an engineering problem to solve… it’s more like if there were a large crate in the middle of your living room, your auto-pilot would figure out how to get to the far side of the room without any active thinking.

Honestly that’s why I let people know at the beginning of the relationship that I’m crazy if they’re a guy there going to get their penis cut off and is a woman a nipple is leaving them. I don’t. Story 2: Dude, that was quick, but good. She was really seeing other men too pay off her dept. Like, I get you need to pay it, and he's only giving a little money to pay for it, but that's because you're not responsible with money, you have a bad credit score, and you're starting to go back to your old life. Also, seeing other men too pay off your dept. is just bad. Your cheating on your husband for money. Either way, I'm glad he caught he and made sure she couldn't turn to her family for help because of what she did.
