Thanks for this great reaction. A poignant song, sung tp perfection by Elvis. Definitely the GOAT. ❤❤❤
No one will ever have the impact that he did on the entertainment industry. He is the GOAT!
No auto tune....No lip syncing just perfection ❤
who else had auto tune back then?
He always sang with such passion. He put his whole self into all his songs. He was one of a kind and there will never be another like him!
… There are many good singers... but ELVIS is the „💎“ Diamond among them!! His charisma is still unsurpassed to this day!! … He is a Singer for eternity !! 🕺🏻🕯 Thank you
Every time I hear this fantastic song, that Man Elvis sends shivers down my spine. What a VOICE ❤❤
Those were not tears --it was sweat.
He died 4 years, 7 months and about a week later.
The last half minute of the song is the most significant, He did Mario Lanza proud.
Elvis is sweating. That jumpsuit was heavy and spotlights all over. Amazing voice and talent. The best singer ever! ⚡👍🔥🎧🎶🇿🇦 More Elvis please!
Made of gabardine wool

you can feel the Emotion and the passion in his voice, must of watched this performance many many times and it still gets me every time Elvis was and is the G.O.A.T 👑
You just witnessed THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER THIS WORLD WILL EVER SEE!!! No auto tune no pitch correction just pure perfection. The power, passion, emotion, control with his heart in ever word. When Elvis sang you didn't just hear it you felt it as he touched your very soul it was like he was singing to just you. When Elvis walked on stage he owned it .Elvis had it all the looks the moves the VOICE stage presence and charisma like no other. When Elvis performed he gave his all to what meant the most to him HIS FANS. Elvis was like a God among men a gift to us all from GOD HIMSELF. No one will ever come close to Elvis an immortal legend. Long live the KING.
Perfection every time he performed. Long Live the King! 🎶👑💖🔥

Happy Birthday King 👑 January, 8!!!
Unmatched!
Those black lady's are the sweet Inspirations ...... And they back up Elvis ..... And they are like Angles when they join in ..... Once the Texas Astor Dome people told Elvis he could come but to leave the black women at home ...... Elvis told them ......They don't come ...... He don't come ...... They came ...... It was the biggest crown ever ...... Elvis had them in the same car he was in when they drove around the dome ..... ELVIS LOVED THEM AND PROTECTED THEM AL-WAYS ..... They were fantastic ....... No Brag ..... Just Fact .....
Wow, We need him more today than ever before!
Elvis will always be the best. Love this song.
Thank you for the great reaction thank you for keeping his music alive
No one put as much of themselves into a song. Elvis showed his soul when he sang. He was and is the greatest ever. Thank you, Elvis, for what you gave us. The man had a lot of love. He had a lot of respect for others. We need more of this today.
He sang this song live to over a billion people by satellite first time anyone has done that. Love Elvis great entertainer and kind generous heart
Yes! Everything you just said about Elvis is so true! Amazing, talented, beautiful inside and out! I've loved him since I was 12 yrs old. I'm now 76 . Thank you for the great Elvis reactions! Please keep them coming.
Wasn’t he amazing 💕🇦🇺
Just the best ever ever ❤❤
Happy Heavenly Birthday to Elvis !!!! he would have been 89 today
Not back for the rehearsal show ... after watching this, he had a haircut, trimmed his fingernails, and changed the cape !!
Maybe, but the vocals in this Performance were far superior.
@@WoodsWoman822I agree. I think he was more relaxed during the rehearsal show.
He actually “holds back” on this rehearsal, and so do all the backup singers. He considered the real (non rehearsal) performance to be much higher quality. I do also.
I think it's wonderful how you appreciate Elvis' talent.
Elvis najlepszy to fenomen, geniusz, wszechczasow, KING!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Elvis had a great voice 💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯Elvis is the king of Rock and Roll 💯💯
I enjoyed that reaction brother. 60 year old white guy from Kansas here, in the United States but anyway man thanks for reacting to that. That guy just never ceases to amaze me. He was before my time and then he overlapped into my time. I was born in the early 60s
Absolutely beautiful. What an extremely talented man. It’s soul grabbing for sure. 😢❤❤
the best song is yesterday for me from elvis
on stage from 1970
tcb king⚡
Elvis.......always the GOAT! love your reaction as always
This is from the rehearsal show! Still the best vocalist to ever live! And there have some good ones! Elvis stands head and shoulders above all the others. Very nice reaction!
Top Notch❤
Try and find footage where he introduces who he worked on stage with. He picked the best. This is the Aloha concert & has some of the best versions. Fever is particularly good
The ending is a bit better, but the overall song is better in the show. It's more refined. Has a good ending too. This is rehearsal. Watch them both. Can't lose!
MOST TALENTED MAN EVER.
Beautiful man thank you for the video. My respect to you. Ad yes sweet sensation were awesome to.
All I can say is that God knew what he was doing to bring Elvis to us he was genuine he was humble he was everything he had the looks The crismon and I was so honored to know him as a person
Gilbert Becaud wrote this song but even if he was a great singer Elvis was fantastic !!!
Please check out Heart Of Rome by Elvis. He shows nice vocal range, and it's a different type of song with a little Spanish feel. Fun facts about this rehearsal show. The actual broadcast show was 2 days later. He had a fresh haircut and actually wore a different suit of the same design. In certain pictures, you can only tell the difference because of the placement of the little gold stars all around the suit.
Those are not tears. That is sweat. That was a very heavy wool suit, there were spotlights, and it was in Hawaii. The song is about a man about to commit suicide.
Great song done to perfection by the 👑 Elvis may not have written his songs but he felt them in his heart. ❤
The only global super star.
Beautiful ❤
Happy birthday to the King ❤❤❤
there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and i understood him we cared about each other faults and all. What it comes down to is we both needed a friend and we were that for each other. Awesome reaction. i have spent my entire adult life speaking out to people that try and judge a beautiful soul that is not here to defend himself. as long as i have breath in my lungs no one i mean no one will disrespect him period. God bless you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn. 😭 #forevermyking #forevermysexyjello
Este é o maior cantor de todos os tempos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤
That was just after he got his device
Insane FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The KING. More please 💕💕💕💕
I love your reaction, listened to this song and I felt like god whispering to you.
Thank you for playing Elvis Presley love that
Not sure if you know this or not, but in Feb 1970, Elvis is scheduled for 6 shows at the Houston Astrodome. He was told the “black girls” were not welcome. He said and I quote, “ If the ladies aren’t welcome, then I won’t be there too!” Guess what, they came and do did Elvis. Setting an attendance record of over 260, 000!
Love your reaction
The lady background singers were called The Sweet Inspirations and one of them was Sissy Euston , Whitney's Mom !
Cissy Houston ❤
Cissy Houston was only with him and the Inspirations in 1969.
Sylvia Shemwell, Estelle Brown & Myrna Smith were the members of the group for Aloha from Hawaii. Cissy Houston performed in Vegas with her group as backing vocals for Elvis during his July and August 1969 residency. She left the Sweet Inspirations in 1969 so, she was not on stage in Hawaii
Cissy Houston was w-Elvis for just 5 weeks in 1969 from July 31st to Aug. 28th. There are 2 issues here w-this -- #1 his backup singer Myrna resembled Whitney very much so people think it's Cissy - #2 Whitney said her mother was w-Elvis for years so people are going to believe it but it was not true. . Elvis had 3 girls w-him for a time after Cissy left & then hired a 4th (cannot recall her name).

The female backup singers were the Sweet Inspirations. One of them was Whitney Huston's mother, Cissy
in this clip?
Love your comments for the greatest entertainer that ever lived. He had 2 gospel groups on stage with him...White male group and Black female group. He would sing gospel with them for hours after a concert.
back up singers
PLEASE REACT TO ELVIS'S SONG NEW ORLEANS HIS MOVIE SCENE FROM KING CREOLE I'M TELLING U THAT U WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED
Elvis could have sang opera if he wanted to. Love the King of Rock and Roll!!
He was not crying. He was wearing a very hot jumpsuit & the mega hot house lights & stage lights added to all the heat. The perspiration was coming down from his forehead.
Any song from this show “Aloha From Hawaii” his version on this BIG Satellite Show “I’ll Remember You” “I’m So Lonesome I could Cry”
GREAT REVIEW
Elvis’ wife Priscilla left him in 1972, taking their young daughter with her, & they were divorced in 73, so I imagine he had gone through really feeling the words of this song. That might have been an emotional tear, but could also have been sweat.
incredible
SHOWWWW🎸🎸🎸🎸
Very nice
Elvis refused to perform at places where they would not let the Sweet Inspirations (his background singers) stay.. He stood up for black rights way back in the day .. Just another reason to love him
U got it right
👑✌️
Those tears weren’t because he was crying. What you saw was severe Glaucoma. Glaucoma makes the eyes very sensitive to light and also makes the eyes very painful in many ways. Few people realize how very ill Elvis was, which means he was in a lot of pain while he was singing.
Loved your reaction!!
I don't think you've reacted to any young Elvis songs. A couple suggestions:
JAILHOUSE ROCK (1957) - Elvis Presley - Classic Movie Musical Numbers (3:29)
Elvis Presley - Hound Dog (1956) HD (2:27)
So many ppl and reactors think he is crying.. he's not.. so many lights on him.. he's sweating his ass off... he put everything into his performances.. it's sweat sweetie. the lights on his beautiful blue eyes hurt his eyes... so he would close them and made it seem like he was crying... True fact.. the lighter the color of your eyes.. your more light sensitive.. I have green eyes.. My Mother and sister had brown eyes.. not nearly close to the light sensitivity that I have.
Also check out his duets with his Daughter Lisa Marie called “I Love you because of you” “In the Ghetto” “Don’t cry Daddy” “Where No One Stands Alone”
Then listen to her songs “Lights Out” “Nobody Noticed it” “Idiot”
The one and only he could sing any type of music and do it successfully. Nobody could do that. He could take Someone else's song and Do an arrangement that would fit him. And it would be better than the original song.
Great reaction, please react to elvis and the black community the echo well never die its a short documentary on his early career and how he was treated by the white community
HE IS NOT CRYING ...... YOUR HAIR DON'T CRY NOR DOES YOU FOREHEAD ...... IT IS SWEAT ..... ELVIS IS THE GREATEST PROFESSIONAL OF AL TIMES ..... HE SANG MUSH MORE SENTIMENTAL SONGS THEN THIS ONE BEFORE ...... HE WOULD HAVE NEVER CRY ON STAGE ...... I MEAN REALLY ...... WAKE-UP ......
this was in 1973 he died 4 years later
Whitney Houston's mother saying backup for elvis.
This is the year he and Priscilla got divorced! Sad year! What great performance by THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER EVER EVER. NOT EVER TO BE SURPASSED❤❤❤
Whitney Houston's mum was in the backing group
and look at that ring on his finger.. want to talk about the First King of Bling also... Elvis wow
Dude I hope you don't stop answering explaining to us so we can hear the whole so and enjoy it. You may make comments later.
Just a tid bit. Whitney Houston's mom was one of the background singers. He was a GOAT!!!
HE IS NOT CRYING ..... YOUR FOREHEAD DOES NOT CRY NOR YOUR HAIR SON ....... IT IS SWEAT ....... No Brag ..... Just Fact ......
Absolute perfection 💙
Wonderful reaction, Elvis used black singers, and the reason why, you need to check out Elvis and the black community, you'll understand why he did
He had the ‘black singers’ for the same reasons he had Kathy Westmoreland & Millie Kirkham (who are white) and the Stamps Quartet because he liked the way they sang and he wanted the best. He DIDN’T pick them because of race. He wanted the top “studio quality” musicians and singers to take on tour. He got the best.
@@emerald1805 why did it take him so long to use any black artists?
And there it is, the comment that only ever gets told to black reactors, you must see Elvis and the black community. Here is a baffling question, why don't you ever tell that to a white reactor?
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 Elvis didn’t ‘take so long’. He first started out with two musicians [1954] who were supplied by his first record company (Sun Records) and they worked as a trio. When he began recording for RCA [1956], he did use black studio musicians, prior to being drafted into the army, just as his career took off in 1958. When he finished serving in the army, in 1960, he began an 8 year stint as an actor making movies and had no band members. He worked with whoever the movie studios assigned to his movies. When he did begin touring again, he hired black and white studio and touring musicians/singers. Your opinions are not factually correct.
@@emerald1805 what are the names of the black studio musicians and why did he NOT! have them on stage? the reason he made records prior to the army was to make sure his popularity was not lost. And where were the black actors in his movies? It is well known Elvis only used white musicians, does the name the jordanaires mean anything? The only reason the colonel started using black singers was because music was changing, white artists were using black artists music was changing and there was no way Elvis was going to stay relevant. Songwriters stopped writing songs for Elvis because the colonel wanted 50% right to the song. What does that mean? Same song, same show, night after night. No wonder Elvis turned to more drugs, he knew his career was over. I know more about Elvis than you think.
