Pro tip for you, I have seen people with this model frame a little window in their end doors so you can flip down a section of their doors at both ends for air flow so you can keep the sides down so little critters cannot get inside. Here in the Yukon animals are pretty craft when tasty vegetables are out lol. Regardless, it looks great!

Thank you Victoria! We gated the first area where we started gardening because we definitely have deer and rabbits that come in or near the yard. Fortunately we haven’t had any incidents even with the crops that are outside the gated area! We’ll see if any wildlife discovers the tunnel as more food grows. So far so good. I don’t have critter troubles like I hear other people do, I think it is because I’m beside a main road and also my neighbors shoot guns sometimes. I bet it’s crazy in the Yukon!

Victoria, Can you share a pic of that window in the endwall ? We’re erecting ours ( with help ) today and tomorrow.

Wow, you were a rebar pounding machine! We’re the frame pieces flexible enough to forgive slight variations in the rebar spacing or angles? Or did they need to be close to perfectly aligned? Can’t wait to see your early harvests with the new tunnel!

That’s a great question Eric. I did have a few bars that were slightly angled and the frame pieces forgave that. We marked the spacing with a dot of inverted marking paint so it was pretty precise. Thank you!
