There's a cool easter egg in teardown where after you start to renovate the wear house and the treadmill is removed. Its actually just hidden around the map and after most story missions it is moved to a different location but never taken out of the game. This was a nod to the CZcamsr smitty who had a bit with the treadmill for the first half of the campaign.
You must know about the lore between SMi77Y and the treadmill
Ah yes Treadmill. He was my favourite character in the game
@@2jdestrodegr15 and then cyclist came along.
You watch smii7y don't you
@@darkprime6815 that cycle sucks… trying to be treadmill
5:27 the potato in a jar could be a reference to a g-mod model called "crematorcase" under the comic props tab (Its originally in half-life but you can find it easier in g-mod)
or even glados herself in portal 2 maybe
5:56 has an Easter Egg right in front of you! That spray on the wall is "Dopefish" in a fleshpound mask ^^ Great video (like always)!
HE LIVES?!
Theres an easter egg in 'Ready or Not' thats pretty cool. Theres a box of medicine on the staircase just outside the main lobby with some very interesting side effects listed.
At the hq?
@@CaptainEggcellent I do believe he means the HQ. since that is the lobby
@@NatzoXavier I’ve looked for this box before but couldn’t find it lol
@@CaptainEggcellent I did describe it a tad vaguely. Its specifically, if you're facing from the top of the stairway, on the right of the stairs just below a desk and paper target. If need be I can post it in the discord aswell.
can you send it on twitter?
5:54 I'm pretty sure that fish is the Dopefish from Commander Keen.
In teardown on Marina map, you can find Pirate and hidden treasures between walls in some buildings. In other words - walls are not hollow.
The only thing I could think it could represent on 7:00 game is from the tv series, 'M.A.S.H'. There was a scene with an umbrella similar to that. Not too sure if it was in the episodes or in the movie. However, it looks awfully familiar! But good luck finding out more on it!
Resident evil
Haven’t seen a great mod community like Teardown’s in a very long time
Not sure if it’s been covered already but In TLOU part 1, if you keep an eye on Ellie in the Toy Store where you meet Sam and Henry, you can see her swiftly pick up the toy that was dropped during the cutscene
Already covered 👍
Happy New Year, Captain! I know you probably recorded this video before New Year’s, but it’s still great to have you back nonetheless.
Seeing them use Riley's model in MW2022 just makes me want even more Ghosts 2 to be the next Infinity Ward CoD
in teardown the leafblower can be used to fuel fires to burn more quicker, a nice little detail ive seen. awesome video. also the mw umbrella looks out of place I feel like it was intentionally put there to be a reference.
7:14 I think if it was an RE reference, it would have four triangles of each color, not three
The potato may be a reference to the movie "The fly" where a scientist gets fused with...well a fly, because of an accident with the teleporter he invented
Happy new year guys, can't wait for the new eggs we can find
Probably a stretch but I like to think the dog leading "Santa's" sleigh is a reference to Olive, the Other Reindeer.
Also, not sure if this has been mentioned on the channel or not. But in Brutal Legend, if you turn the music off in the settings the song the band plays in the first cut scene will still play. Being a game all about metal, the game doesn't consider it music.
7:18 if it was a reference it would've been the 4 triangles instead of just three. This is just a red and white umbrella
this is a Easter egg in Call of Duty modern warfare 2 made in 2022 where in the naughty list map it says on one of the crates "stay frosty" and that is an Easter egg to when lieutenant Vasquez said it on the search for Khaled Al-asad mission in MW- 2007
Not sure if you covered it or not, but the epistrophy mission in cyberpunk where you have to hunt down the seven taxi cabs for Delamain has a huge portal/glados reference with the car in Pacifica
8:47 the fire trail following the sleigh can also be a reference to back to the future.
Theres an easter egg in 'Teardown'. At Hollowrok theres a light house, if you destroy the stairs, tehre should be a basement with a well. In the well if you are doing a misssion there you should find a golden thing.
Just found an Easter egg in cyberpunk. At the end of the “Big in Japan” side mission, if you ask denis “who is this guy” the person next to him says something very similar to the “in Japan, me heart surgeon number one” thing in the office
5:20 I think that’s actually a reference to The Thing-
From my pov they appear to be charred, and the position they’re in reminds me of the two headed thing
5:15 the guy is a reference to the guy who was burned up in The Thing and pretty much is on a table like that in the same position.
5:57 the painting where you moved the candle is a picture of the dopefish
Never heard of teardown but it looks like a ton of fun!!
2:42 the treadmill at home moves around the map throughout the game's campaign.
Wait it moves around
@@daisyjoy242 yes
I’m pretty sure there is a Mystery Science Theatre 3000 reference in High on Life when you spawn the movie theatre in once you get the teleporting discs
I like the reference at the end to back to the future
The scary potato is most likely just a rando Easter Egg in KF2
Also you missed the Dopefish Knight grafitti.
And i forgot but I remember seeing the banana easter egg in Teardown during a Jerma stream.
Which one?
KF 2 easter egg can be a nod to movie "Fly"
I recall that Killing Floor was part of Valve's Potato Sack ARG leading up to Portal 2's release. Maybe the potatoes in KF2 are a reference to that?
I love that last reference it was two references in one the Easter egg was about Santa Claus but the way the slay took off remind me of back to the Future
A cool and clever detail I've noticed recently upon replaying Bioshock Infinite is in the part when you heading to Downtown Emporia, after the Vox Populi Rebellion is in full swing, after Fitzroy killed Fink and Elizabeth killed Fitzroy at the factory. As you pass a group of people preparing to get on a barge to flee the Vox Populi, there's a billboard and as it covers your view of the barge, by the time you've walked past it and can see the barge again, the people are all on the barge now. Not exactly an easter egg, or a secret, just a cool detail.
On 5:57 you missed the dope fish from commander keen (in kf2)
Anyone else think that the ending of the Modern Warfare 2019 Santa Claus riding off into the sky looked somewhat similar to the DeLorean time travel scene from Back To The Future?🚗🔥 8:44
I have no idea about easter eggs as I depend on you to find them. Thank you and Happy New Year to you and your family.
i wouldnt count the mw2 one since Umbrella Corp symbol has 4 red and 4 white parts while that umbrella has 3 red and 3 white parts
In goat simulator 3 you can find a store called "Lux", entering the dressing room inside gives you a suit. I think it's an Easter egg to the TV show "Lucifer" where he owns a night club called Lux, and wears really fancy suits throughout the whole show.
I could be wrong but the Banana Easter egg in Teardown could be a reference to the banana taped to wall art that was sold for $120 000
The potato was probably a reference to glados from portal
The Santa Easter egg in MW 2019 was also a reference to Back To The Future
6:14 When i see the potato i think of 1 of the SCP’s called scp 066, but i could be wrong
I like the teardown modding spotlight (never played the game but it looks dope). Eggcelent do you think you could showcase a top 10 mods for some popular games but only include ones that have cool details like the Mr. Meseeks reference?
Teardown has another Easter Egg! In the Art Vandals map if you go to the Museum there's an art piece refrencing The Shining.
I feel like the umbrella was just a regular umbrella because it had three red and white triangles while the umbrella corporation one has four red and white triangles
Hey Cap, was replaying the original Halo (not in mcc) and realized in the warthog you can actually see the speed you're going. It's small and in the middle of the dash, just thought that an old game like halo having it would be an interesting detail to note
The 2019 call of duty Santa with the clock is a reference to back to the future
Hey Captain! If you ever do a menu Easter egg/hidden details video again you may be interested in Resident Evil Revelation Raid Mode, when you play with a friend and if they go afk in the menu, the infamous Zzz's will appear by their character icon
Funny in that last easter egg I am shocked you didn't notice the other reference with back to the future from hitting the antennae to trigger a lightning blast to pass through the wires triggering Santa who flies away with a flame trail that is a direct reference to back to the future mimicking the final scene in the first film.
In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, if you equip any of the splinter cell googles and put on night vision it changes the mode to the one similar to the splinter cell games.
"all the way to remote controlled explosives"
*shows teardown gameplay of the pipebomb with is basically just a grenade*
its funny that santa went back in time
" in the mission no russian you can find this."
*Cuts to screaming people and bullets being fired*
You might have done this one already, but in rainbow six siege on the map, Villa spawn point ruins as an attacker there’s a well that has noise is coming from it that sounds like someone is down there
In a certain part of Warframe, if you die there is a funny reference to Metal Gear Solid
There's an Easter egg in riders Republic where if you wait in the pause menu for long enough you can hear some of the soundtracks from assassin's Creed games
Yo keep up the good work I’m a big fan
In blacktail, once you acquire the ability to break ice you can return to the opening area and open up the frozen well and jump down, there are some references I don't understand, but also a matrix reference which leads to an amusing bonus scene.
It's a new game so I am not sure if anyone has had the chance to find everything yet, there are a ton of folklore and old fairy tale references.
How long does it take before you can break ice?
@@CaptainEggcellent About 2/3rds through the game, It took me 22 hours to complete the game but I was playing fairly casually and trying to complete everything. If you are rushing and skipping optional quests, 3 - 4 hours would be my estimate
In teardown in the expansions map you can find the carpet from chining, in the art gallery.
Love your vids bro keep going :)
Love the santa ones
Hey Captain. So I noticed that in the footage of the MWII Christmas Shipment Easter Egg, you were all alone and had an MCPR-300. At the time of writing this, MWII only lets you use preset loadouts offline, and that gun isn’t in one of them. How did you get your own loadout? Thanks!
Capt. Price was the one who piloted the sleigh in MW2019 Christmas easter egg
6:22 it’s cause potatoes have eyes lmaoooooo
5:34 Enshrined potato! I approve!
5:55 wait is that dopefish?
The potato looks like the one shown in portal, aka GLaDos
The last Santa Easter egg is a shout out to “back to the future”
The second I saw the red and white umbrella I instantly tough of umbrella corp
Hey I found a Easter egg on modern warfare 2019 on the map tank factory all of the TV's have gost on them
potato is maybe a reference to glados from portal?
umbrella: it looked like a radiation sign
Wait isn't that house from the first couple of seconds of the Teardown segment from Animal Kingdom ( the TV series)?
i was too busy getting killed to even notice the sleigh on shipment
Don’t know if you’ve done this one yet but in the game Stray when you grab clementines book if you look on his computer you can see a little icon named Stray.exe
There is a song I used to listen to and one of the lyrics was “what’s in the box? A potato” thought that was funny
The liveaction show of TLOU also has Ellie reference Mortal Kombat.
i love your video man
Plz do more teardown and community Easter eggs and details
unless the devs say so, to me its just a regular umbrella. That pattern really isnt unique on an umbrella so they would have to do a bit more to it in my opinion, even if the devs intended it to be a reference to umbrella corp.
You didn't mention that last one was a reference to back to the Future
I think that the final easter egg in modern warfare 2019 was also a nod to back to the future
you should take a look at graveyard keeper
its just full of easter eggs
from the DLC being named after tv shows to one of those just making godfather references and you literally killing the witcher gerald
I feel like the MW2 umbrella is not a reference. If it was the same umbrella as the logo, 4 red quadrants and 4 white, then maybe, but this is 3 and 3.
6:50 dang I need some of these lobbies
It's just a private match
Good ol’ classic teddy bear Easter egg,
But this time with Riley!
Decent video. But that resident evil one wasn’t even a leap, that was a whole Olympic jump. 😂
The umbrella is very likely an Easter egg but they probably changed its appearance to avoid lawsuits.
I don’t know of this is an Easter egg, but in grounded the soundtrack for the sandbox is called coarse and rough😉
@8:38 did nobody notice the back to the future reference in the second santa easter egg ?
In modern warfare 2 (2022) the emblem you get for completing the melee kills challenge is a reference to Naruto.
On high on life if you try to do a speedrun strat the game realises and calls it out
the banana could be a reference to bloons tower defence
If they are going to reference the umbrella corp logo, they could make the umbrella corp logo. That's just a red and white umbrella.
Hidden detail:In Dan the Man (mobile game) when you are on a platform with a ninja, and jump down onto another one, then back up to the top one, repeat the process and eventually the ninja will look at the screen and move his mouth as if he's saying "come on!"
I don't know...
It seems to me that the Killing Floor Easter Egg might reference 'The Fly' Movie starring Jeff Goldblum...
A long shot probably
Not essentially an Easter egg, but still.
Most places you can go to in Warzone 2.0 are obviously biggerscale versions of maps from the original Modern Warfare 2, with the most obvious ones being the airport, which is obviously Terminal, and the quarry, which is literally the Quarry.
The old cod4 had a Christmas map and when you called the air strike it would be the fatman himself
In high on life during the trip in the nipulon fight he will mention that he is trying to do a psycho mantis
