Nothing like some "friendly" banter to liven the game some more.
There's definitely some truth in that though Ynarri player made very few, if any misplays, whereas the White Scars player misplayed a few times and got capitalised on, to the point where the horrible dice rolls made it pretty unrecoverable..
Then to top it all of Khan flopped hard
@@CaptinMoses agreed. He went for first strike with bad odds. 5 infiltrators fighting twice only gets you about 7 wounds on average, and dire avemgers have 6. Between the charge and psychic power, and potentially a save reroll, he spent 4 cp, his infiltrators, and his libby to have a less than 50% chance at first strike and 5 dire avengers.

IMO the format that you guys have chosen for your batrep is amazing. Most other batreps are usually 2-3 hours and as a working man I do not have the time to watch it all. You folks keep it short and sweet with great editing. Keep up the great work.

My thoughts exactly dude that along with the great content is why I'm very happy I've found this channel. I really love Miniwargaming as well but I don't always have time to watch their longer videos. That or it takes a few days to complete one.

The rules could also use some work. Never seen anything so complicated. They really need to take a look at One Page Rules...
@@toketokepass At that point it might not be 40k anymore. That would lack some serious depth. The rules have never been more manageable and comprehensive, I personally love where it is.
This is on pair with e-sport level of quality :D Very interesting to watch.

I was amazed at the format of this video. It's fast paced, it's interesting, yet, you're really stil allowed to hear thoughts and tactics, and also get a nice overview of the game scores and stats.

Looking at that White Scar list, I find myself rooting for an Eldar player for the first time in my life.

Such bad takes who wants to play space marines without that variety and white scars paint scheme is fire. Bikes are mi why wouldn’t White Scars use heavy equipment they’re still using land raiders makes no sense
@@grabacr1354 Because they are White Scars. White Scars are fast. Yeah, they have Devastator squads and armored companies, but if you want to field those, why not just run a different army. And if you're missing the rules viability, just use Ravenwing rules on a White Scars army for Heavy Weapon landspeeders and better bikes.

He's an arrogant prick, regardless of a bunch of misplays, the dice are what killed the White Scars. Rarely seen such consistent bad luck on one side and at the same time luck on the other.

@@GrabAnwalt White Scars lost the game when they took the bait... ignored the crimson hunter and focussed on wrong targets. Steven was impatient, he engaged the whole eldar army with a couple of his units every turn. It was like steven's 2-3 units vs rupert's whole army every turn and off course they have lost a lot, a lot points doing nothing.

Also no, his army comp was fine, he just made the mistake of getting his forces in sequentially. He should've either consolidated his position and waited for Eldar player to come into los, or just advanced like hell turn 1 with the intent of getting reivers and the warlord to attack at the same time as both the invictor and the repulsor appear.
Still a pretty great game though.

Watching this is like watching Curling at the Olympics. I have no idea what's going on but it's absolutely gripping.
I've watched a few of these now and I'm loving them. As others have said already, the format is so professional, and easy to digest. I say this as someone who is no stranger to dice being an avid D&D player, but I know little to nothing about 40k. So kudos to you guys for getting me hyped! I just started playing Total War: Warhammer 2 with a friend around Christmas, so this seems like a natural progression in strategy/war interests for me.

If you can handle guys like that, no offense but most of 40k players have bad hygiene and are extremely socially awkward, they smell bad, bad breath ect... most tournament I've been to 5 in total after 4 hours smells like a locker room.....I enjoyed the game not the other players and I couldn't get any of my real friends to play because it's too expensive. The games though dawn of war especially are fantastic and good enough to get the 40k fix cause they're is nothing like the 41st millennium

White scars need some practice, no way he should of lost. Bad deployment, movement and target priority. Great job on report on to the next!
