A really beautiful home & very nicely 'fixed up' while retaining all the lovely old features that give so much character.....just big enough without all that grandeur that huge houses have...very comfortable for a small family or a bunch of friends on vacation ! I must say these French homes are pretty special !
what a splendid home. Perfect proportions throughout. I can imagine me and a group of friends in there and it would become like a family home instantly. Cozy inviting and comfortable. Nothing grandeur about the home. Nothing overwhelming or high maintenance it was perfect. The garden amazing size. And enough room to park 4 cars comfortably. So for me it ticks all the boxes.
Now this is a beautiful property - not too large for comfort - just right !

I'm curious as to WHY so many leaving there?
I was wondering how comes so MANY homes are on the market too, but you have to realize just how big a country France actually is....it is huge compared to UK, so no surprise that there are many beautiful country houses for sale....after all once you notice them, you begin to see a lot !
@@veronicaroach3667 I have always been curious about this surge in homes ales in France...perhaps the pandemic has something to do with it..or perhaps the political shifts taking place? I don't recall so many homes being sold there as they are now.
My dream has always been to move to France.
It is indeed one of the most beautiful countries in Europe.
With Brexit, many English people have sold their French properties and with COVID many Parisians want to move to the countryside (They are the only French people who can buy this kind of residence).
@@valerieneal2747 'm French, and I don't think it's linked to the pandemic. There are always houses for sale. There are many old villages in France, so always people who get divorced, who change jobs and locations, inheritances.... But I think it's the same everywhere, I imagine there are also a lot of houses for sale in Angletere (but maybe at higher prices).
often the children who inherit a house and live far away prefer to sell. And share the profits from the sale.
Very often properties are sold because of succession. Too many heirs and none of them wants it.
