Considering the spirits deconfirmed a couple of the popular ones like Minmin, Twintelle and Ninjara, a long with Ribbongirl and Springman, I am sincerely expecting one of the dlc fighters to be the guest. Preferably Dr Coyle.
@Failingpepper 11 No, but so far Nintendo has done nothing to disprove it either. Until a dlc character that was already in the game as a spirit is released, I am going to believe this rule. Even then, I'd much rather see Sakurai pick a character that's at least pretty weird from Arms. I'll always have prefered ones but I'm personally hoping for someone like the Doctor or Max Brass.
I can see the fighter (whoever it is) using Kid Cobra's side attack and Minmin's kicks. Just so they can have some close range attacks. I would love for it to be Twintelle, but Ribbon girl is good too.

@@ramdem-8758 combos, different types of punches (hook, uppercut and more...), bigger differences in the roster and more arms type with story mode. It'll be awsome.
I guess mix matching the arms is great.... but in a fighting game I always enjoy having secret characters to unlock. Looks like this is everyone.

I have ideas for 2 new characters. I don't know how to name them so I'll just steal names from other games, lol.
Warwick
He's a werewolf. Grab damage is 170. Ability 1 is lifesteal. Each performed attack heals him by certain ammount of hitpoints. Ability 2 is dash in any direction, when he comes in contact with an opponent while dashing the dash will stop but opponent will take damage. He can charge dashes just like punches. Charged dashes are longer and do more damage. Weapon 1 is Trivolt. It's an electric variant of that weapon. Weapon 2 is Fire Guardian. It's a fire variant of that weapon. Weapon 3 is Cerber, it's a new weapon. It homes on enemies and attaches to them. There's no impact damage but you can mash the button as fast as you can for quick succesion of bite damage, 10 damage per bite. It's attached only for a few seconds. It uses stun element.
Plantera
She's a humanized plant. Grab damage is 160. Ability 1 is burrow. She can burrow underground for a few seconds to dodge any attacks. When she comes up below an opponent she performs a grab. Ability 2 is seed drop. When she gets hurt she may drop some seeds that grow into 4-legged venus flytraps instantly. They rush at opponents and bite them. They die in 1 punch. Weapon 1 is Ivy Whip. It's a stun version of Slapamander and Slamamander. Weapon 2 is Boombrella. It's an explosive version of Umbrella. Weapon 3 is Flower, it's a new weapon. After hitting opponents it spawns spores that do impact damage. They last for few seconds. Flower uses blind element.
I mean this in the nicest possible way, but those aren't exactly original names.

I was thinking what would happen if you could play as Hedlok and I came up with this character:
Ralios (Ra + Helios, lol)
He's an egyptian god of sun, he's taken human form to send master mummy back to the world of dead (it'd fit Anubis better, but whatevs).
When he charges up for a bit longer (like min min), he creates two solar vortex-like things uppon his arms that will also throw punches. Basically double damage, but they always have fire element. They last until Ralios is knocked down. His second ability is that he can smash nearby enemies if they get too close. There's a dedicated button for that move. Weapon 1 is Laser Cannon. It's an incredibly fast shot, like a gun. It hits an enemy almost immediately. It has a small delay before shot like Dragon. It's an explosive weapon. Weapon 2 is Harpoon. It pulls an enemy towards you, so you can smash him. Other characters could use it for cornering or something. It uses fire element. Weapon 3 is a Megabomb. It's an explosive version of Megaton and Megawatt.
I also had ideas for some new weapons. Crossbower - it's a mini-gun for arrows. It has long range and fires constantly but does low damage. If you charge it up it will shoot a few charged arrows and then lose it's charge. It uses fire element. Slicer - kinda like a whammer, but it's a sword that slices enemies horizontally. Can hit multiple enemies. Uses stun element. Laser Blaster - electric variant of Laser Cannon.

This characters are broken af. Warwick has high grab damage, can dash anywhere, dash does damage, and heals by attacking, making him WAY better than ninjara and master mummy combined.
Plantera has decent grab damage, can burrow for a few seconds for a guaranteed grab (that does extra damage), and has the chance to spawn 4 helpers that are basically barqs
The Cerber and flower are also very broken arms, cerber could do 180 dmage in 3 seconds, and flower could do 120 damage with the bonus of blinding the opponent.
The voice of master mummy is the japanese voice of daruk from breath of the wild!
I want this so badly. ;-;

Doomguy In ARMS Concept
About as heavy as Max Brass
Gimmick: Has his Equipment Launcher. Luckily, all 3 of the attributes are already in ARMS! First he fires a powerful bomb, then a freezing blast, and then a flamethower. Could have the Berserk, but I'm not sure
Signature Arms:
Super Triblast. When charged, doubles the amount of projectiles fired. Represents the Super Shotgun. The shots fired look like the Meat Hook.
Fragger. Works like Max Brass's Nade, but Electrical. Represents the bombs and the Blood Punch
Best Friend Dragon 9000. A powerful B.F.G. 9000 themed Dragon. The electric laser is Light Green

There's a very real possibility that Nintendo's gonna pull a fast one on us and give us Biff with everyone's abilities

The game is called arms but we have a character who's using hair. This reminds me of a character in MK who also uses hair but for the life of me, I do not remember.

I can see 4 of them being like that. Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Min Min and Ninjara have regular proportions and would be the same amount of characters in a single slot as Hero.

How do you know? You have no idea how much damage any particular move is, or how the physics of it really work in play. I mean you may be right, but unless you've already played it a lot I don't see how you can confidently make that claim.

Simon Fredrik Lund That's only with the preset ARMS for each character. Every character can have every ARMS and there are probably more unlockable ARMS we don't know about
each character can only have their own arms and they have three different arms so there is 18 combinations with each charakter and there are ten charakters so 180 combinations.
Simon Fredrik Lund Yes, in the demo versions that have been shown so far. At the end of the latest nintendo direct they showed Helix switching between tons of ARMS and said you can reach around 6000 combinations!
