Host hasn't allowed Hindu speaker to atleast keep his whole point in whole debate. Christian panelist is very reasonable ,cooperative and opmistic about ucc. Sikh panelist has lot of fear regarding following essential practices in sikhism ( Every Indian knows or after knowing the importance & reason why the practices were introduced will respects them) and thinks of strong political agenda behind ucc which is unwarranted and should be seen only in Nation's interest. Muslim panelist feels everything which was practised in past has to continue irrespective of present societal conditions which is detrimental to muslim community at larger extent and country in long run. 'Sati' is being quoted as 'Kureethi' everytime and everywhere, but just want to tell that it was a tradition followed from many Yugas (starting of civilisation) as wives would voluntarily accompany the husband even after death as per cultural belief of multiple Janams (Reincarnation) in Hinduism and Marriage considered as ceremonial union of 2 souls for 7 janams- ( Ex: 'Madri' younger wife of King Pandu and mother of Nakula and Sahadeva in Mahabharata practised 'Sati' voluntarily), but when societies evolved with time, it was imposed on a woman against her will which was recognised as inappropriate and draconian to implement on woman forcefully and to protect her 'Right to live' it was abolished/prohibited so was the case of Johar, Bali, Polygamy, Divorce, Widow marriage, Child marriage, Untouchability etc ( These were practices in the past where they had their role to play and there was varied amount of resistance when reforms were introduced but the changes were done and accepted by Hindus, in larger interest of Individual/society and country) which were corrected in accordance with present societal conditions. Dharma according to Sanatana Dharma has to change according to Desha (Place), Kaala (Time /period) and Paristhithi (Circumstances) for larger good of the Humanity, Environment, Living beings, Society and Country.
