I Love Ribbons: Beyerdynamic M500 vs Oktava MK012

The Beyerdynamic M500 has a normally corrugated Ribbon (not the stock piston corrugation) and was converted to XLR. I know that I compare apples to oranges, but the Ribbon is so much richer and got so much more low end. By now means is the Oktava a bad mic, has way more high end and sounds thinner.
