  • This is the Kronings Camper Trolley Robot we are stocking in the UK. The Camper Trolley comes from Denmark and used to move around caravans and trailers up to 4500KG in weight. There are 3 different models available, the 1500KG, 2500KG and the 4500KG. There is a bracket that comes with the Camper Trolley to attach to your caravan or trailer and then that stays in place. The Robot then simple slides in and is then useable.
For more information you can find these on our shop...

Hi, why is the trolley mounted this way and not via the towing ball? That must be much more easy to handle or am I wrong? Thinking about buying one.

The towball brackets can be purchased separately but is not the best method for everyone. The main consideration is the weight on top of the robot, if you have a light trailer with not much weight at the hitch then the towball bracket will not work so well in terms of gaining traction. So that is why the standard bracket normally works for most people unless you don’t have an open channel in the a frame and then there is a closed frame bracket available. There are a lot of people using the tow ball bracket and love it but it really does depend on the type of trailer and weight distribution.

@@FunFitAdventure thank you. We do have a Hero ranger as well. The standard bracket is not included in the Netherlands and costs 145 Euro. The tow bar bracket 99 Euro. That is why we were thinking. But if the last one is not possible for the Hero then we have to go with the standard one.

Is the bracket included or should you buy it separately?

Hi. Would the robot hold an 1100kg caravan (Barefoot) reversing out a garage and tipping onto a fairly steep downhill drive? Thanks in anticip 😊

Hi, the robot is rated for 10% gradient slopes, so if it's under that you will be ok. There are some barefoot customers using the RT1500 although the standard bracket needs to be adapted to fit. get in touch if you need more info. richard@funfitadventure.com

How does this handle manoeuvring the caravan in reverse? Say for example you needed to back the caravan onto a drive, or is it really only meant for "pulling" vs "pushing"?

It can be driven forwards and back so pushing and pulling no problem.
