His special was much better than I expected! Not sure why I was surprised, since I always enjoy him. Guess I'm just not used to seeing him delivering an act, and it was very polished. Well done!

It's because you can see his legs and not in a suit. Really though, it's because he's an improv and sketch guy, but he didn't do a celebrity doing a stand up "show" with characters, in a small room, with his fans. It was a legit stand up set, a full special, of just jokes and stories, in a medium entertainment market in the Midwest, in a few thousand seater theatre. He built his special, he did shows. This wasn't him returning to stand up. This was Seth Meyers, writer, entertainer, improviser, fully doing stand up. I was skeptical, but it truly is a great, solid, special special

SETH MEYERS- I WISH I could comment on your Netflix special like a CZcams video but I will here now....When you did the bit where you told jokes in the perspective of your Wife, THAT WAS THE BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE SPECIAL!!! SOOOOO Funny. I've never seen it done to that extent before. Very clever.

You really should, he's so amazing and personable. He does what I've never seen any late night show host do and always does segments with his actual family who are all just as funny and amazing as he is. He has past and current members of SNL on ALL the time so a lot of great and hilarious behind the scenes stories. His day drinking segments are the BEST, he is soooo funny when he's drunk cause he gets so sassy I love it, and again I really love sassy Seth so he's great on little cooking segments too cause he's always in a rush and every guest makes a drink for him in the beginning so he really lets loose! He's definitely the most relatable late night host I've ever seen and I love his style, he's very relaxed and really lets his guests speak.
His special is a work of genius.

Tbh Seth deserves the Tonight Show way more than Jimmy. At least Seth has a better presence and skills as a host. I don't even know how Fallon got this gig. Although Conan owns both of them.
I had grown tired of the lobby story and stopped watching the special halfway through. Thanks to this interview I learned there was more to it and resumed watching from the politics part. Great jokes btw.
