Vážení přátelé, vítejte u čtvrtého singlu z vydané speciální kolekce "Pentagrammaton", tedy kompletní reedice sólových nahrávek Velkého Mága Jiřího "BigBosse" Valtera. Dnes se dostáváme k předposlední sólové desce, resp. dvojalbu "Collection of Black Roses - Sbírka černých růží" z roku 2017.
Album nabídlo celkem dvacet kousků, rozdělených na dva disky, přičemž ten první obsahuje anglickou verzi desky, ten druhý pak českou. Ta je navíc čistě akustická a zajímavostí též je, že obsahuje dvě skladby, které v anglické verzi nenajdete. A coby singl si dáme třetí skladbu z anglické části s názvem "Leave Me Alone".

Jiří BigBoss Valter je bezesporu legendou české metalové scény. Byť se proslavil především jako frontman brněnských Root, věnoval se i jiným hudebním aktivitám, mezi nimiž nechyběly ani sólové desky. A právě ty nyní vychází u pražských MetalGate ve sběratelské kolekci nazvané Pentagrammaton. Děje se tak v rámci BigBossových sedmdesátin!
Komplet vychází ve formě boxu, do kterého jsou vloženy pošetky s CD. Celkem zahrnuje pět alb na šesti discích (jelikož Collection Of Black Roses/Sbírka černých růží je dvojalbum). Desky mají původní zvuk, změnou ovšem prošlo jejich grafické zpracování, a to tak, aby celá kolekce měla jednotnou vizuální podobu. Nechybí obsáhlý booklet s texty a informacemi.
BigBossovy sólovky ukazují tohoto výrazného zpěváka v poněkud jiném světle, než jak ho fanoušci znají z domovských Root. Na svých albech je více zadumaný, melancholický, baladický a plný emocí. Zároveň je třeba upozornit, že byť převažuje výše zmíněné, i pod vlastní značkou dokázal vypustit metalové démony, a to konkrétně na albu Belial´s Wind z roku 1998. Procházka po jeho sólové cestě je tak velmi rozmanitá a vzrušující!

Dear friends, welcome to the fourth single from the special collection "Pentagrammaton", the complete reissue of the solo albums of the Grandiose Magus Jiří "BigBoss" Valter. Today, we have arrived to the penultimate solo full-length, a double-album to be exact, "Collection of Black Roses - Sbírka černých růží" from 2017.
The piece offered 20 songs in total, divided into two discs, with the first one containing the English version of the album, the second disc the Czech one, which is not only purely acoustic, but also contains two songs that are not to be found on disc one. As the fourth single we have here track number three from the English part of the album entitled "Leave Me Alone".

Jiří BigBoss Valter is undisputedly a legend of the Czech metal scene. And though he gained recognition primarily as the frontman of the black metal act Root, he was also involved in various other music activities, including solo albums. These are now reissued by the Prague-based label MetalGate in a special collection entitled Pentagrammaton. It happens as part of the celebrations of the 70th birthday of BigBoss!
The collection is released in boxed-set format with slipcases containing the individual albums. There are five full-lengths in total on six discs (since Collection of Black Roses/Sbírka černých růží is a double album). All have their original sound, but brand-new artwork so that the whole collection has a unified look. Included is also a vast booklet with all the lyrics and album credits.
The solo albums of BigBoss feature this distinctive vocalist in a somewhat different light than how the fans may know him from Root. On these recordings, he is more contemplative, more melancholic, focusing more on ballads and emotions. That said, he was also able to unleash metal demons on his own, namely on the Belial’s Wind album from 1998, which makes experiencing the fruits of his solo career both diverse and exciting!
